This has been my favorite Colombian bakery since I was a kid. As a little girl my Abuelo would take me here for an after school treat, family get togethers we always load up on empanadas & pan de Bono's from here, and even now as an adult it's a frequent visit for breakfast or un antojito. It's a small family owned business, with a friendly face always ready to greet you & take your order. I love all the foods & won't leave without what I truly believe are the best empanadas in all Miami. Always crispy & fresh with the ají on the side. I recommend this little spot to everyone that wants some authentic Colombian treats.

Ufff that's a no from me. The reviews below are correct, this place has lost their touch. My husband has been going here for years. He ranted about the empanadas. As soon as we get there we order our food. The empanadas tasted sour - super gross I couldn't finish it. The arepa was delicious and daughter really loved it. It was nice and sweet. The buñelo was super hard and didn't have any taste. They also gave me an egg filled empanada that was SO greasy I had to stop eating it. Super disappointed with this location.

This use to be my lunch spot when I use to go to a school near here. That was over 15 years ago. So can you imagine to my surprise the lady behind the counter remembered me, if that isn't the best greeting I don't know what is. From the moment you enter you can feel the warmth of the freshness being prepared and the aroma of all the pastries, pan de bono, empanadas, chicharron, sausage and more in the mornings. The quality, service, and deliciousness of this fine bakery has remained the same. I still love ordering the same empanadas and chorizo (don't forget the sauce to put atop everything) but this great morning we ordered cafe con leche and it was perfect. It was a perfect fresh, tasty, and quick breakfast to start our beautiful Saturday. For a quick fulfilling breakfast this was the perfect stop. Thanks to my bestie Beatriz L to remind me of this great location. See you next Saturday

Ooof not sure what happened to this place. It has been around for years. The empanadas are the worse I have ever had. The meat in them is hard and it has somewhat of a sour taste. I couldn't eat the whole thing. It was grainy and didn't taste good. I have been eating Colombian empanadas since I was a kid and I was surprised I couldn't eat the whole thing. I was kind of grossed out. I gave hem two stars because the ladies there are super sweet and attentive. It's not their fault! There are far better places than this. Just go down the corridor for a way better empanada. The almojabana was good though. It was fresh, warm and super tasty. Chorizo also had good flavor. It's just hard to go back because of you're Colombian you must get the empanada right!

Colombian breakfast: coffee, egg and arepas. Great for vegetarians

We went for lunch so didn't get to experience the show and party that usually happens on Friday and Saturday nights. Will definitely come back for it because it sounds like a great time! You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!

Some Colombian restaurants rent in places where the lease is absorbed by the paying customer in the charge of food- this is simply not the case here This restaurant is a staple of the area and don't be surprised to walk in and hear patrons greet the staff as if they were regulars because they most certainly are familiar faces I ordered a bone broth to start with grilled steak and rice entrée and finished with a cup of coffee that was brewed to perfection This is the kind of place you go for quality food in a cozy environment Parking is somewhat limited out front, which adds to the exclusivity of it unless you're in a walking distance While I was there, I also noticed a multitude of Mobile dining orders, which lets you know plenty of people want with this place has to offer and after having eaten here today, I can completely see why: great food great staff amazing price points

The girl that answered was super friendly and told me they could have them ready for the time I ordered, which was great!! I got to the location for my pick up and the whole parking situation was a mess. I had to park a bit far, which was more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. Once in there, I went to the counter where there were 3 ladies working. I'm literally in front of them and about 4 minutes went by before any of them even acknowledged my presence. I'm the one that finally spoke up and said "buenas tardes" and they acted as if I had just miraculously appeared in front of them. I find this absolutely shocking, as most Colombian restaurants are so welcoming and polite. I ask for my order and they tell me to wait a moment. About another 5 minutes go by and they bring out my order horribly covered with some aluminum foil. In the car I grabbed an empanada to have a taste and it is all burned inside and out. When I got to my gathering I removed the aluminum foil and about 10 empanadas were in the same badly burned condition. These empanadas cost a little over $2 a piece! I paid $90+!! I understand Saturday was the Colombia game and they must have been swamped, but if you can't provide quality product, don't overwhelm yourself by taking on more than your kitchen can handle. The oil must not have been the right temperature cause the empanadas were extremely greasy. Luckily we were able to place them on some paper towels to soak up the grease and most of them were consumed. Everyone said that the taste was decent, but they were definitely over fried. I have no idea what their food and service is if you dine in, however I highly recommend not ordering out. There's much better Colombian places.

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.
