    a receipt for the restaurant

The tacos weren't bad but the lady overcharged me a lot of money because I didn't speak Spanish , I only got 4 tacos and a small cup of rice and it came up to 20+ dollars and the tacos only 2 dollars per tacos which me she got over on me.Just better off getting lil rodeo ‍

Queso con chile pupusa on left and revuelta pupusa on the right both are delicious!

Had the revuelta pupusa and queso con chile pupusa and they were both delicious and made from scratch. Highly recommend

Carne Asada Mulita with extra lettuce beans and cheese (extra charge but worth it)

Loved this authentic little restaurant. Don't get fooled by the name, it is a mix of Salvadoran and Mexican food. They have one of the best pupusas and mulitas I've ever tried. Their aguas frescas are really good too! My favorite one was the Jamaica(hibiscus flower water). Another must try is their plátanos fritos(fried plantains). It is a delicious dessert. Definitely recommend. This last time I was there I ordered a mulita, I asked the nice cooks if I can customize it and add beans cheese and lettuce, they said yes but of course there would be an extra charge. I was totally fine with that. OMG best decision ever! It was such a good mulita, it was so flavorful! (Checkout the picture). Definitely worth paying the extra charges. The ladies there made our lunch even more pleasant. They greeted us right away and made us feel like regular customers. Overall, it is always a great choice to come here for breakfast, lunch or even dinner!

My first meal of 2020. A bit of a hidden gem in neighborhood. The ensalada aqua fresca is amazing and I have yet to get a bad dish. Mulitas, sopes, and papusas are all solid. I plan on getting more specialty dishes in the near future.

Great food, great service! The owners there are friendly, personable and go out of their way to make your day! Food comes in generous portions, flavorful and their house made hot sauce is bomb.com! We tried the quesadilla, tacos and mulitas, definitely want to try the papusas next time since they were smelling great and was being made hot and fresh. Definitely recommended!

The pupusa's were really good and cheap. The guy behind the counter was super endearing and kind. I would check them out again!

Juan was awesome -- very informative, even shared a little history of Pupusa's :) Nonetheless, the service was great but the food ** chefs kiss ** was phenomenal! We got 6 pupusa's -- 2 Bean & Cheese, 1 Pork & Cheese, 1 Al Pastor & Cheese, 1 Garlic & Cheese and 1 Asada & Cheese -- the garlic & cheese was our favorite, but all of them were phenomenal! Thank you, Juan, for the experience! I will be back!

I've been coming here since high school and I'm 24 now. The food was always really good, service…read moretypically welcoming and friendly but always expensive. We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.
