I also asked for half and half or cream and the girl seemed very confused so I went with milk. I asked for caramel. The coffee did not taste like caramel at all even though I saw her put it in. After we got our coffees she asked if we wanted sugar. They had a very small bakery case of baked goods. They were labeled vegan and gluten free, but I'm a little unsure if they are. As a friend of someone who had a gluten allergy and one with a dairy allergy, I take it very seriously when stickers saying stuff like that are on anything. Even if I wanted to try something, they could only do cash only. I hope their truck is as good as I've heard since they've been around for 15 years. But both of my experiences here have been less than ideal.

When you visit at Lorraine Mills make sure you pull really hard on the door to get in, the door is stuck. When we got inside their space, we were asked how we wanted our coffees but weren't told the options. I don't know if the young girl was new or not but I could barely hear but did ask for non dairy milk. They had a small case of pastries. It said what they were but didn't say ingredients or anything. When I got my coffee it had a sticker on it that said "vegan and gluten free." I'd assume everything was based on that sticker? When I asked she said it was dairy free, which works well for me but we definitely need some better signage. I had a biscoff cookie which tasted like a good snickerdoodle cookie but not biscoff. The iced coffee had no ice in it.

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!

This morning, I decided to swing thru on my way to see my mother. On Charles St in the north end of Providence, this quaint spot proudly announced itself to the neighborhood with the building and trash cans matching the Italian tri colors of their open flag waving in the wind. Inside was a gorgeous selection of pastries, prepared foods, breads and more. I was there for two reasons, pizza strips and zeppole. My targets were acquired, plus an apple turnover and I took my goodies to Bristol. The strips delicious, soft but not mushy. They still have some chew to it but it gave easily when you bit into it. The sauce was generous and garlicky. Every bite made you want to take another! I'm glad I got two! The zeppole was great. The pastry was crisp and tasted fresh. The custard was similar to vanilla pudding in taste and very smooth, too. They put just the right amount. It was easy to eat where you had filling in each bite but it didn't overflow and make a mess. Finally, the apple turnover was awesome. The pastry was flaky and a little extra crispy from the sugar crust on top. The apple filling was all the way through the pastry, so even though we split the turnover three ways, each of us were able to have the same experience. Overall, I am pleased to have found this spot. I'm definitely coming back. I now have 4 places off the top of my head within 10 minutes if my house to get fantastic pizza strips. Super happy about the recommendation!

It's exactly what you'd hope for: classic chocolate chip flavor, delicious brownie cookie flavor with that Nutella stuffing sandwiched in between both doughs which actually has a balanced sweetness without being overwhelming. Definitely worth going out of your way for. This cookie HIT! I also tried a few other items: * The cookie dough truffles were solid. Fun and indulgent, deff a sleeper hit. * The snickerdoodle cookie was solid but not the main event. Thin, chewy, with crispy edges which I love so nailed the texture perfectly. Just wish it had more snickerdoodle flavor. * The cookie dough cheesecake didn't hit for me. I lean more toward a classic vanilla-forward cheesecake, the edible cookie dollop was good though. What really stands out about this place is the variety. Cookies, cupcakes, pies, cheesecakes, brownies and they even take custom cake orders. It feels like one of those spots where you can keep going back and trying something new every time. Overall: worth the visit, especially for the Nutella cookie.

They had worked with Crystal in the past few years for birthdays, weddings, and anniversary celebrations, among others. All my connections had made note with regard to how detail oriented and delicious her work was every time. Of course, we asked to book a tasting and meeting immediately. Crystal was wonderful to us at the tasting, marking a personalized sign and running through the various flavors her clients often enjoy. She went through each of the sheet and tiered cake options, and even provided different designs she imagined for us based on our colors and theme. And her quote was fantastic! In the end, we were so delighted that we chose a three-tiered, salted pretzel and lemon cake for our wedding. A different flavor for different tiers. Come the day of the wedding, we were not disappointed. The cake came out incredibly beautiful. Every little detail was done with such thought that it felt like the cake was fake, that it couldn't possibly be an edible masterpiece.
