We had an Irish themed wedding and I wasn't sure how to pull that into our cake but Leigh Anne came up with the most delicious Guinness cake I've ever tasted! We had 2 layers of Guinness and two layers of champagne with strawberries (absolutely to die for) and mini green velvet cupcakes! I'll use Leigh Anne for every single baking need I have! Leigh Anne is the sweetest person ever and great at what she does. We had a two-tiered cake done for my mom's birthday with two different flavors. Both were amazing and the fruit filling they make is out of this world. Leigh Anne even had matching candles on hand when my grandma mentioned them. Her cake had no bumps, dents, or uneven frosting and the custom banner she made for the cake was perfect, plus the dowels she used in the cake were easy to remove, leaving only tiny holes when cutting the cake. Leigh Anne was an absolute pleasure to work with! Her ability to be so personable and friendly while still being professional is such a relief. She needed very little direction from me, just wedding colors, theme and is very open to any ideas (specific or non-specific) the wedding couple may have about their cake. Delicious Designs was very flexible about timing (I was having a horrible last minute timing issue and Leigh Anne was very nice about it). She brought me decorations to embellish the cake table and stands for my cupcakes. I had a small wedding cake and 70? cupcakes for my wedding. For my initial meeting with her, she prepared 3 flavors of cake for me to try which were TO DIE FOR! Moist and incredibly delicious. Hazelnut, Raspberry Champagne and Apple. I wanted to have a little more excitement than regular vanilla/chocolate wedding cake and Delicious Designs blew my mind with the flavor options. I live 500+ miles from Reno and only met with Leigh Anne once before the wedding but she called me on plans for the cake and even letting me know she'd be on vacation for a week and to leave her a message if I had any ideas while she was away. When I saw my cake/cupcakes I was ecstatic! Everything looked beautiful and I really didn't want to ruin the cake by cutting into it. But anxious to taste the delectable confection that was waiting for me I did. And I enjoyed my HUSBAND's expression when he sampled his first cake from Delicious Designs. He quickly grabbed two cupcakes of different flavors to try before we resumed our seats. I can't stress enough how wonderful it was to work with Leigh Anne. She was one of two vendors that I didn't mind answering the phone for during this stressful pre-wedding time. If I could give this bakery more stars I totally would. Leigh Anne is so kind and works with you on everything. I went in because I had a baptism and birthday to celebrate and was looking into different bakeries to make my cakes for each occasion. I had a cake tasting and she had 4 plates with 6 different types of cakes, and fillings for my friends and I. We left pretty full actually, she gives you a generous amount to taste. Everything is made from scratch, nothing processed which is what I like about her store. Customer service A++ that is what matters most to me along with how the product tastes. I like to host events, whether they're big or small and I always make the cakes but I also need a break every now and then. I will say this is now my GO TO BAKERY! I went into Isabel's and had the worst experience, I'm glad Leigh Anne made this a greater experience as I was starting to get discouraged because of the customer service I had previously experienced. I gave Leigh Anne a photo that I found on the Internet and she not only replicated it to perfection, she also added just the slightest touch of "bling" in the form of a crystal encrusted ribbon around the base of the cake after I added in my comments to her that I loved bling! She was a pleasure to work with, easy to get ahold of, both on the phone and via email, and her price was more than reasonable. She also suggested the flavor of champagne cake with fresh strawberries in a champagne glaze because she said it "just looked like my cake", and she was right on! Leigh Anne is amazing!! I started ordering from her last year when I wanted a specialty cake done for my kids' 7th birthday party and I haven't stopped ordering since! She did an amazing minecraft theme that matched the birthday party concept and made the kids super happy. We now get cakes for anyone in the family from her! For those who have gluten allergies (my son and I both have celiacs), she is a great woman. It's hard to find a baker that will accommodate this allergy (Haven on Earth is great, but it's definitely not the place to go to for fun, creative kid cakes), but Leigh Anne was totally willing -- and her gluten free cakes taste AMAZING. Our most recent order was a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and it was heavenly. She also does amazing designs. We recently got a Fox cake that turned out adorable! Our four year old loved it! She did a Frozen themed cake earlier this year that also turned out beautiful. On top of that, Leigh Anne is easy to work with and great with communication! Leigh Anne was so amazing! We were married on October 1st and she sat down with us early on as we described our ideal cake. We told her how many guests we expected and she suggested these options: one three tiered cake or one two tiered cake with cupcakes or all cupcakes. We tried many samples which were all delicious!
