I ordered a 10 inch cake and smash cake for my son and gave them pictures of his theme so that the cake would match. The theme was spot on and was way beyond my expectations! It matched his theme perfectly! I didn't even want to cut it because it was just so beautiful! We got the buttercream and it looked just like fondant because of how smooth it was l. It was a marble cake and it was actually marble. Most places do 90% vanilla when you order marble but this was a great mix of chocolate and vanilla. We visited this little shop when we had dinner at Outback. It was nice inside, with clean tables and chairs. They also included a toy kitchen for the kids. The lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient at filling our order. However the cupcakes weren't that good even though they looked delicious. The icing at Delightful Treats is... well... off. It isn't sweet, but more on the bland side. I can't really place the ingredients but it's like they use a non-sugar product as the sweetener. I prefer B's cupcakes which has a delicious creme cheese icing. We did purchase several other types of cupcakes and I let various family members try them. They didn't go over very well; not even my daughter liked the icing. She only liked the cake, which I will admit was very moist and tasty. We also purchased some baklava which was actually better than the cupcakes, but it wasn't any thing I'd go back to purchase. It was tasty but lacked the crispness of typical baklava I've had previously. Several other family members said it was good but not great. My wife and I found it ironic that the girl behind the counter commented on B's cupcakes and said that they had tried their cupcakes (so they could know their competition). I ordered our wedding cake from Delightful Treats and it was so beautiful and delicious! I can't wait to eat our upper layer for our anniversary. Karina was so great taking the time sitting down with me and working on the mix of flavors together, making me taste her ideas, etc...They had such an original variety and so yummy! They were also the only ones who could rent us a gold cake riser. Oh! I did I mention they make the smoothest looking buttercream? Best bakery in town!! I had a work event and needed a last minute cupcake order. The staff was very accommodating and whipped up an order fairly quickly. My team were extremely happy with them and kept asking where I had purchased the cupcakes from. My personal favorite was the guava cream cheese cup cake. AMAZING!!! So good!!! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone interested in tasty sweets. I'm definitely going to go back to this bakery for any future orders I may have. Try them out! Be aware when purchasing here. I had 2 children sick, and an adult that complained of undercooked product! After reaching out for compensation on half of what I order I was told sorry can't do anything. Totally overpriced for a very poor product. The cupcakes were ok, which I'm not complaining of. Delightful Treats made a cake and cupcakes for our wedding. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and not only did they replicate it perfectly, both the cake and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious! (we got the key lime flavor) The cake looked like a mermaid fin, with different colored scales. The cupcakes matched the colors of the cake, and had beautiful edible seashells and starfish. It was even more beautiful than what I had planned. They packaged everything very securely, and even helped us out to the car with all of it. I really couldn't have been more pleased! read more

This little cupcake shop used to be in the Altamonte Mall before moving to this location just days before I visited them. I found them thanks to a Living Social deal. The deal was perfect for my son's birthday cupcakes. I placed the order on the phone but when I arrived for pick up the cupcakes had been made incorrectly. The girl working was nice about it and apologized. To rectify the situation she swapped out some of the cupcakes for the more designer ones in the case. This is the first time I've ever write a review, because I'm so disappointed. I ordered a 6 inch birthday cake that cost me $93 for my babygirl's first birthday. I went to the store two weeks before the birthday talked to the girl for at least an hour to make sure the design, order a red velvet cake with chocolate buttercream filling. And I also mentioned I want them to reduce the sugar amount in the cake and filling, I also called back twice to tell them reduce the sugar( the last time was in the morning of the day i needed to pick up the cake). The cake looked nice, even on the back side, I can find some little details aren't perfect, but I still think its a pretty cake. When I cut into the cake, the color of the cake wasn't look like red velvet, it actually just like regular chocolate cake with classic buttercream filling( I ordered red velvet cake with chocolate filling), and the cake is dry and firm, not moist and fluffy at all, and over sweet. My family don't like it, everyone just tried a tiny tiny piece, 3 quarters of the cake goes to waste. I'm so disappointed, because I paid so much money for a tiny cake, it doesn't fit what I ordered, and doesn't taste good. read more

My mother and I were searching for a series of desserts for a dessert table for my grandmother's 90th birthday party, in addition to a small cake (very similar to what I had the previous year at my wedding). We cut it close on timing (less than a week before the event) and weren't able to get everything we wanted, but the staff accommodated where they could and even made some great recommendations given our timing. All of the mini desserts were so delicious (mousse cups were gone in an hour!) and the cake was the best part -- the team at Delightful Treats matched the design on the cake with the design on the invitation PERFECTLY. The fondant was the most surprising part -- it was actually edible AND delicious. If I can give this place a 0 star I would, I sent them a picture of the cake I wanted, the lady said yes they can do it ( a peppa pig cake for my daughter who was turning 3)! Paid for half of the cake as a deposit which was 104 in total so I paid $52.00 in advance. Make the long story short I went to pick up the cake the store was closed, called the number they had posted no answer, waited bout 20 minutes one of the lady's showed up and opened the door, She went to the back of the counter, I noticed her trying to fix something on the cake, I didn't think anything of it, while she got on the phone talking Spanish, which I understood she was on the phone with the lady who made the cake, asking her how would she fix the top, needless to say the top of the cake was messed up due to them closing the box and the fondant wasn't dry yet she then showed me the cake it was nothing like the picture I sent her! It was a 6 inch cake (very small) and the colors were totally different and then to top it off the top was ruined. I cried just looking at this cake in front of me and being less than 1 hour for my daughters party. Well I had to leave and go get a cake from Publix. We used delightful treats for both our daughter's baby shower, and our son's 8th birthday party. Both cakes were exactly the way we wanted them to look. My daughter's cake was good, but my son's cake seemed a little dry. I do like the way they work with you and try hard to get an understanding of what you want in your cake design, which Is why we went with them the second time (son's bday) but I would say for the price, I think the cake should taste delicious and not just good. read more

I went with a friend to order a cake for her birthday. We spoke to the manager I believe Ashley is her name. She was very nice and her customer service was on point. We were there for about an hour explaining to her and making sure that this cake looked great. We left there feeling confident. We even bought them the ribbon to use on the cake. The day the cake was supposed to be delivered they called my friend and asked her if they could deliver it at 7:30, minded the party begins at 7. She told them absolutely not. When the cake arrived it was NOT what we had asked or planned on. I immediately called one of the employees and they told me that I could speak to the manager on Tuesday. Their were pieces of ribbon that looked like they were hanging off. I knew my friend was not going to be happy. Needless to say. She wasn't. We went to the cake place on Wednesday, spoke to the manager. She told us that the owner saw the picture of the cake and she thought that the cake was fine. We weren't asking for her opinion. It's not what she thinks is fine is what we the customer wanted. After several back and forths they offered us a discount on our next order ( which will not happen again!!!) Or 6 free cupcakes! We don't want your cupcakes. We want you to own up to your mistake. They told us that they ran out off ribbon, that was one of the excuses. When we said that we spoke spanish and asked to speak to the owner. The owner said she was to busy rolling fondant to talk to us. We ciuld wait or come back. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We will not be coming back and we will make sure that everyone we know knows how horrible the owners customer service was. Very disappointed. read more

This place is awesome and they have excellent customer service. We ordered a cake a week ago for a baby shower today. I knew the bakery was closed on Sundays and wasn't worried until I found out over the weekend that I had nowhere to leave the cake if I picked it up on the following Saturday. Living 20+ miles away from the bakery and from the place for the party I asked the staff if there was any way to get the cake on Sunday. To my happy surprise the owner agreed to have the cake delivered directly to where the party is so that I didn't have to worry about driving such a long way to bring the cake home and then back the next day to the party in one piece. When we got the cake my daughter was surprised and so happy. The cake was delicious, nice and moist, everyone loved it and asked where we got it! It was absolutely perfect and made the day wonderful! The cake was not made based on what was discussed in our 2 hour face to face meeting. Apparently there was a breakdown between expectations (with pictures for clarification) and what could actually be done. I was very specific in terms of only doing what was achievable (in terms of skill level) and I would have rather that they didn't agree to X level, so that I would at least know what to expect. Upon receipt of cake, my husband was never asked his thoughts on the outcome (because he would have voiced his disappoint right there and then) and when he arrived home with it I immediately called to let them know my thoughts and asked for a resolution. I didn't expect a free cake but I did think it was fair for them to credit me for an EXTRA UPCHARGE on detail work that was not what was promised. Not only did they not "get back to me" but when I reached out to them two days later they told me there was nothing they could do currently but I could have a 10% discount on my next cake. Why would I order another cake from them considering the outcome on the first one? I used to order all of my cakes from here but it was before they changed ownership. Asli (the previous owner) was amazing in both cakery and customer service. If you're going to charge a good amount of money $$$ on a birthday cake then you should be able to deliver both. read more

Delicious brownies, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I attempted to contact this place over a week, mainly for teacher appreciation, and still I was unsuccessful. Closed on Saturday- when they are supposed to be open, CLOSED during lunch at 3, NEVER returns any phone calls. I am exhausted at trying to reach this place. I normally would've been done with a business the first time they failed to show acknowledgment to a customer, but I told my daughter we could bring them to her teachers. My sister got some extra brownies leaving a restaurant nearby.... me and my daugher tried them and she immediately wanted to bring some to her teachers.
