    Dried out almond croissant
    Mike D.

Shockingly bad. Carrot cake bites had no discernible carrot taste other than the massive frosting drawn in the shape of a carrot, Almost croissant was burnt, overcooked, dried out, see photos. Black and white cookies a huge dough pile, not much taste, the chocolate and vanilla frosting was good. More cake than cookie. Tiramisu, didn't get to try it but wife said it was very good.

On Christmas morning, as my family and I are last minute people, we were searching far and wide for open bakeries. We stumbled upon this lovely bakery and we were so happy that we did. We walked in, we were so overwhelmed by all the choices and wanted to get everything. We settled for a box of cannolis, rainbow cookies, napoleon and chocolate covered strawberries. I also got an Apple Turnover for breakfast. The apple turnover was one of the best I had! The cannolis must've been filled recently, I always worry I'll get stale or not crunchy cannolis but these were fresh and super crunchy! The rainbow cookies were amazing and that's all I tried the rest were given to family who enjoyed them. The inside had a lot of tables and looked nice and cozy. I would definitely return and try more things as I love when bakeries hand you fresh and delicious pastries.

Charming little spot for a sweet break. We stopped in for a few treats and a coffee. The cappuccino was rich and creamy, and the chocolate cheesecake was absolutely out of this world--so decadent! Unfortunately, the carrot cake was a bit dry, but overall it's a lovely place to relax and enjoy a treat.

Very simple straight to the point best macchiato I've ever had. If you want the best of the best coffee. Come here. It's the stuff legends are made of. Bravo !!!

    Cannoli, tiramisu, random cookies

I'm usually not the biggest fan of pastries, as I find them overly sweet and usually too dense. This place was a perfect balance of light, fluffy, and a nice touch of sweetness. Especially loved the tiramisu, it was outstanding! Plenty of seating! You pick what you want from an enclosed case of pastries. The servers then bring it out to your seat if they're not busy.

Quaint, old school American-Italian bakery & cafe. On any given day, you can find almost all the indoor tables occupied by happy customers, ranging from teens to senior citizens. Cozy vibes. Great spot for a casual hangout or a sweet break time. Swift and courteous service. All the pastries are prepared fresh daily. Not too sweet, which I appreciated. You won't die of a sugar rush after consuming a few pastries. Cannolis and eclairs are especially tasty. Great creams, shells, and dough for all the confections.

    Rainbow cookie, apricot Jam

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon. Picked up some of my favorite pastries. Service was great... quick and helpful. They have 2 different types of rainbow cookies, one with apricot jam and one with raspberry. The one with raspberry was my favorite, it was moist and flavorful. Also got a couple chocolate covered strawberries which were delicious. The tiramisu was really tasty. This place was overall great. I will be returning and would strongly recommend when in the area.

New York City has two Little Italys. The original is on the southern part of Manhattan near Chinatown & the 2nd one is in the Bronx. The best one is in the Bronx so I made sure it was in our itinerary. From the time our plane landed, I've been craving Italian pastries. Though I went to school just a few blocks away It was not as popular then. With Yelp as my guide I found DeLillos. There were so many goodies to choose from but had to limit our choices. It was a very hot day so I ordered the Pistachio Gelato, highly recommended by the lady helping me. We also tasted the Cannoli, Biscotti with iced Cappuccino to wash it all down. Delillos was awesome. Everything we ordered was amazing. It felt like home & brought back many fond memories of my life in NYC. I plan to return hungry next time for an authentic Italian dinner & pastries. Can't wait.

    Tricolored cookie and Cappucino

Stopped in after a meal for a cappuccino. Very cute pastry shop with endless options to choose from. Being full from brunch, we decided to taste the apricot tricolored cookie and a cappuccino. Tricolored cookie was one of the better versions according to my husband but I'm not a fan. The cappuccino was great - very foamy! Note, they add a surcharge for credit card transactions - better to pay in cash.

    Cappuccino, biscotti, sfogliatelle
    Robin L.

I'm not sure how so many pastry shops can survive in a 3 block radius of Arthur Ave in the Bronx, but I have tried them all and this is the clear favorite for an authentic close to Italy experience as you can get. The fact that they serve amazing cappuccino in an actual proper ceramic cup gives them ALL the bonus points. And they have outdoor tables to sit and enjoy it. Their pastries are also the best in the area. Everything we try here is great. Their biscotti, sfogliatelle and tiramisu are all fresh and on point. No reason to go anywhere else.

The customer service, the cake, & the taste was all the same as what it was before. AMAZING! I got the fresh strawberry shortcake with crackers all around for a friend's birthday. I was able to get the bakery to write on the cake and buy candles for the cake as well. They boxed it up for me nicely and safely so the cake wouldn't mess up. When I brought the cake to the party it was the main attraction at the end of the night. The cake was sliced and served. Once the guest had that first bite they were taken aback at how BOMB the cake was! They said it was the perfect kind of sweet. Not overly sweet like other cakes and how it tasted so fresh and delicious. Awww man I need you to experience it for yourself! This cake in particular has me in a chokehold! Their other pastries also look equally amazing on display. COME TO ARTUSO!

They keep the door open so the smoke wafts inside too. I ordered a Greek salad, and asked for no oil or cheese but the menu specifically says grape leaves, green pepper and olives are included. I received just lettuce, cucumbers and red onion doused in oil. I sent it back, they were very nice to exchange it quickly and remove the oil as I had originally asked, but when I asked the waiter where are the grape leaves, he said they don't put them in the salad. So I feel that is false advertising. Nor were there any olives or green pepper in there. What kind of Greek salad doesn't have olives? So I spent about $14 for some lettuce, tomato (which they added the second time) cucumber and onion. I was very disappointed. My friend had a Garden Salad with chicken, that was better, it had lettuce, tomato, red peppers and olives in it that I could see. She liked it. The waiters were very nice and accommodating but more than one person comes to the table, so it becomes confusing, and they are rather slow and sometimes have to be flagged down even though it's not crowded. They do have an excellent location for visiting this area but I would not go out of my way to come here.
