Jose wasn't licensed, bonded or insured. He was an illegal Mexican that didn't even have a checking account. He wanted us to Zelle him half deposit to buy the materials. Only catch was we had to wire the money to his sisters account. All this raised a RED FLAG with us especially when he wanted $750 to take care of the problem. We ended up calling a licensed plumber that only charged us $500 and was able to take care of the problem on the spot and only took him 20 minutes. What kind of shady company is Desert Alarm??!! Using unlicensed people is not cool at all! We have everything in writing and voice mail from Jose We are regretting ever calling Desert Alarm!!!!!!!!!!!

He got the job done as promised and is great about dealing with excessive questions from one who never had or wanted an alarm but has one now. I definitely recommend this company. He couldn't have done a better job! I had him do the hot cold sensor also required in case it freezes in the desert. Could it be more annoying to have to have that in the desert? My only regret is I didn't have him set up the Moen water shut off also required. I thought I needed a plumber. My husband and I are not rich people, so he made renderings that are to be either used right away, or done at a later date to help spread our money out. He not only does the design and renderings, but he helped us find our floor guy (and we love our floors!), furniture, shades, paint, etc. He knew we are on a budget, so he worked with our budget to find things that are affordable and sustainable. My most major concern was the very small standard closet that you would find in hotel rooms. it would be my primary closet for my clothing along with other items. I was moving from a walk-in closet that I had had for 20 years.and was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use this closet effectively. There were also very old lighting fixtures that needed to be taken down and new ones hung. At the end of the project that was done in a timely fashion he was able to give me a closet that was able to fit all of my clothing minus some extra large coats. He also hung really beautiful closet doors with frosted glass that added a very sophisticated touch to it. i'm still not exactly sure how I got all of it in there but I'm sure it had to do with some genius organizers that he built into the closet along with extra pole space. Amazing! The lighting fixtures were also done perfectly and overall, I am very pleased with his work. The one thing that you can count on when you buy a old vintage place like this is that all of the work that needs to be done will probably run into difficulties because of the outdated nature of many things as well as increased cost in time. he handled these roadblock quite effectively and professionally without breaking my bank for sure. i will absolutely use eric again.
