I don't know how I haven't tried this place before as I love pupusas. We were in the area and I'm so glad we came upon them in our search. We got 4 pupusas, a mix of revueltas, chicken and cheese, and pork and cheese. Honestly they were all great and I would recommend any of them. The toppings (salsa and veggie mix) were also very tasty. The platanos were also very good, but not sure it's worth the price compared to the value you get for the pupusas. No bueno (sad face). I have had homemade pupusas and sadly, the fell so short expectations. First, they were greasier than I personally care for . I'm not sure what kind of cheese was used but there was so much of it that it overwhelmed all the other flavors. I couldn't even taste the chicharrón in it. The loroco one tasted as if the flowers were past their ideal use point. I think the only thing I appreciate was the curtido, that had a good balance of flavor. The salsa, meh was not very seasoned. I also ordered plátanos. Again, so greasy. The crema looked more like mayo but was also lacking in flavor. The beans really didn't do much to enhance the overly greasy plátanos , sadly. Their prices were reasonable but I definitely do not consider this place a do over. I've had authentic pupusas on the west coast and these unfortunately feel really short. read more

Really great Salvadoran food. Only had the 2 Papusas because they were so filling. At $2.50 each they were a bargain. The ladies were super nice and very proud of their food. The Revueltas and Loroco are traditional offerings. The Revueltas were a mix of bean, meat and cheese. The Loroco is an edible flower ... as it says in Wikipedia... tastes green with overtones of nuts. The cheese is a gooey mozzarella... perfect for this meal.
