Horrible experience. Do not ever go there for any reason! I went in to get the paint recall work done on my Hyundai. The entire top of my car has paint peeling off, and it looks terrible. About six months ago, the Delray dealership told me they couldn't help me because they didn't have a contract with an auto paint company like Maaco. They suggested I go to Coral Springs Hyundai, where they said the repair could be handled. They told me the job would take about 10 business days, and I would have to leave my car there with no loaner car. That's a 30-minute drive just to drop off my vehicle for a defect caused by Hyundai's substandard paint, with no transportation provided. Then, three weeks ago, the Delray dealership called me out of the blue and said they could now handle the recall repair locally. They told me to bring the car in and that they would provide a loaner vehicle until the work was finished. So I brought the car in, and they gave me a loaner. After five days, they suddenly called and told me to bring the loaner back and pick up my car because nothing had been done. Their explanation was that my car had been in a previous fender bender, so they could no longer perform the recall repair. First of all, they were the ones who called me and asked me to bring the car in, which would make you think the approval process had already been completed -- not something they would decide five days later after doing nothing. Second, the minor fender bender caused zero damage to the roof, which is where the paint is peeling. The bumper wasn't even scratched. What does that have to do with a paint defect on the roof caused by Hyundai's recall issue? In the end, I had to return the loaner, pick up my car, and leave with nothing done. They completely wasted my time. To make matters worse, the dealership told me this was a "corporate Hyundai decision." When I called Hyundai corporate to file a complaint, they told me the decision was made entirely by the dealership, not corporate. So which is it? The entire situation was poorly handled, misleading, and a complete waste of my time. I don't understand why they would call me in the first place if they had no intention of honoring the recall repair. All they accomplished was frustrating and losing a loyal customer. read more

Called Hyundai Delray The staff were rude on the phone and unwilling to help with my 2020 Tucson, even though I had the vehicle towed to their location. They claimed I had never been a customer, despite the fact that I have receipts proving otherwise. They also refused to honor the engine repairs covered under my extended warranty, even though I provided the warranty documentation. On top of that, I left six voicemail messages requesting updates on my vehicle's repair status and never received a callback. This is the third--and definitely the last--time I will use this service center. My experience has been consistently disappointing, and I cannot recommend them. DO NOT GO THERE! read more

Nope, you are making an appointment to get in the queue to see a technician. ( who knows when that would be) Didn't have the part I needed even though it was specified when I made the appointment. They had the car all day, I left several messages before finally someone called and said they had to order the part. Ultimately they had thr car for several days, the lack of communication is frustrating beyond belief. IF I need to deal with a Hyundai dealership again, it will not be here. This was my first time servicing my car at this location. The staff working at the desk were not very warm. I did appreciate the free Uber home. I made an appointment to use my warranty to get the dings fixed on my car, have a maintenance check and to get warranty work completed. When I got there, they said they don't repair dings there. I was very clear what I wanted when I made the appointment and was told that would not be a problem. They said the car was fine. I got no print out saying what they checked on the car, just that warranty work was completed. One of the warranty items included having battery errors fixed. Bought a " used car" with less than 6000 miles. It was supposed to be a certified used car. Soon as we took the car home there was a clunking from the front left driver side. Brought the car back in five days ago and my son was told that it was a strut. We cannot get any information on when it will get done. Who's repairing it? They said the part needed to be picked up . Just had the worst customer service experience at Hyundai Delray Service -- where I bought my car -- and it will be my first and last visit there. I love my Hyundai Tucson, but this dealership is the least customer-focused place I've ever encountered. Today's visit was honestly horrific. I scheduled a maintenance appointment in advance, yet no one could tell me what service was due or even provide a cost estimate. So I'm expected to drive in just to get a quote? When I arrived, I discovered there are three separate Hyundai buildings in a row, each with tiny taped signs on the doors saying service is "a block down and a block east." Could this not have been explained when I made the appointment? I finally found the right location. The only positive was the polite young man who took my key. He told me to go inside and my advisor would assist me. Inside -- chaos. No idea who my advisor was. Two employees stood at podiums in the waiting area, completely avoiding eye contact. When I asked for help, one woman rolled her eyes and told me to sit down and wait. Seriously??? Literally her only job was to smile, take my name, and be polite -- and she couldn't manage that. The waiting room was packed. Only one advisor was working. Five minutes after my scheduled appointment time, he called someone else instead of me -- and that was it. I walked out. Unprofessional. Had my 2016 Hyundai Sonata towed in was told by private mechanic the rod bearings were bad towed it to the dealership had to cough for over a week first told me I needed a new tires with the tires had less than 10,000 miles on it then I need to radiator flush and a brake flush never never mentioned anything about the engine then finally after eight days they did some kind of diagnostic charge me $729. I did not trust the car I got rid of it. Also, the sales department went to find leasing a car was so unprofessional. I'm not a kid. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and I totally dissatisfied with that dealership. All I can say is stay away from it. read more

If possible, PLEASE AVOID this dealership. I've had far better experiences at King Hyundai and Napleton, and it is worth the drive. First of all, the service department is terrible. The advisors come across as dismissive and indifferent, with little regard for customer service. When I first walked in, I overheard a customer upset about their experience and asking to speak with a manager--not a great first impression. Today, I came in for an inspection. The first thing the service advisor told me was that I would need to leave my car overnight for a recall. He hadn't even looked up my VIN or told me what the recall was for. After I kept asking him for details, he finally checked and told me that no recall service was needed at all. I then asked about the inspection again, and he told me they are 2-3 WEEKS behind on vehicle inspections--and that regardless, I'd still have to leave my car. I also asked about my previous visit, during which the advisor wanted to check my transmission due to some notable feedback I'd reported with my vehicle. My transmission is under warranty, but they said if they don't find anything wrong, I would be charged $299 for a diagnostic check! This is now the second time I've come to this dealership and left with no service performed, either because they were behind or didn't have a mechanic available--even though I had appointments scheduled both times. read more

Went there for my car's first oil change. Appt was for 10am but sat in line waiting for an advisor to take my info and didn't get inside until after 11. Told Angel to check the auto stop light on the dash and where the wiper wasn't clearing one part of the windshield. Told him not to wash the car because I had a protective coating that I didn't want damaged. As long as I was there I wanted my windows etched that wasn't done when I bought the car. Angel said he will check with the manager. Later I asked Angel about the window etchings and was told he will check with the manager. I took this as a customer blow off. I spoke with Donny in sales and he arranged to get the windows etched. Later Angel told me the car was being washed and I told him that I had given the instruction not to wash the car. He went out and stopped them. It became very obvious that Angel does not listen to the customer. I was there 5 hours and 40minutes for a simple oil change. While I was there a customer got into an argument with the supervisor in a white shirt sitting next to the cashier. Obvious that this man had no experience or training because this argument was in the middle of the public waiting area. All in all this was a very bad experience. The only good part was when Donny Leung Tat of Sales intervened in getting my windows etched after being blown off by Angel in Service. I will not have another experience like this. My research shows there is another Hyundai dealership in West Palm Beach. People who do not listen to the customer and blows off the customer and ignores them should not be working in Customer Service. Supervisors who want to argue with customers should not do so in public. Take the customer someplace private to work out the differences. read more

This dealership is a disgrace. They've had my mother's car for 8 days (update 11 days) and still haven't even looked at it. Do not give them your business. To echo another recent reviewer, we are having the exact same experience. No one answers the phone. No one returns calls. It's like they're intentionally avoiding any contact with customers. Their excuse is that the service department is "sick" -- this similar experience of waiting for 12 days was posted by someone else about a month ago. This is not a one-off issue; it's systemic and completely unacceptable. Getting through to anyone, including managers, is impossible. Their direct lines are ignored. When we've actually heard back, it's been to tell us they still haven't touched the car and may have a loaner after claiming their entire fleet is "out." Worse still, we needed a car, and we were instructed to go through Enterprise and do all the legwork with Hyundai Consumer Affairs to get the rental covered. This is basic service that they're failing to provide, and we shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get it. My mother is 78 years old, going on 79, and this is her car. The vehicle isn't even 2 years old and has barely over 9,900 miles on it. It died while driving at 45 mph -- a serious safety issue that they've failed to address. They've had her car for 8 days and haven't even bothered to look at it, let alone provide an update. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I'm beyond disgusted. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating any customer this way, especially an older woman who has trusted them for her car needs and supported this business with a purchase not even two years ago. Absolutely buy a genesis (great cars!) DO NOT buy from this dealership. Has to be the worst customer service on planet earth. I have tire replacement as part of my warranty. I recently noticed that my rear tire was bald and the mesh underneath the rubber was starting to show. This was not a safe tire to drive any meaningful distance on. I called the service department, no answer. Called back, no answer, called a 3rd time and someone answered finally. I told her my situation and SHE ASKED ME if I knew if they had the tire in stock. I responded, "I was hoping you would know that". She explained that she was not in the service department and transferred me back to the service department...then another guy answers I tell him the situation and he says he's in sales and can't help and he would transfer me to service. I explained that I had already been bounced around and he transferred me back to service where no one answered so I left a voicemail. I then went on the website to try to schedule. I clicked on the next available appointment tab and it said the soonest I could get in was 9 DAYS LATER! My tire wasn't going to last 9 miles much less 9 days, so I took it to a tire store near my house and got it fixed (I should note, it turns out they didn't include a spare tire with my car, just a patch kit. Not sure if this is standard or not. But I've never once bought a car that didn't include a spare). I called service afterwards to see what needs to be done to get reimbursed. No answer and another voicemail (they still had not responded to my original voicemail from that morning). In total I called 9 times that day and left two voicemails which were not returned. I decided to use another tact and went to the live chat on their website and explained the situation. The chat responded that someone would email me. No one did. The next morning I called service (no answer) and left a voicemail. When I didn't get a call back I went to the live chat on the website again and they responded that someone would email me. No one did. I left another voicemail, no one called me. The next day I called service and no answer again. I did the live chat again and they said someone would email me shortly. No one has. Over a dozen calls, 4 voicemails, 3 live chat requests and I still haven't heard back from anyone from the dealership. This is not an isolated incident. Soon after buying the car, I noticed that my car was missing floor mats even though the contract said it was supposed to(seriously, what dealership doesn't include floor mats?)I called service and they said talk to the guy that sold me the car. I left him a voicemail which was not returned. I called the next day and service told me they would charge me $250 for floor mats (that should have been included to begin with). He said, "buyer be ware"...I called sales to explain the situation and the sales guy (not the one I bought the car from) said he would see if they had any in stock and would call me back. He never did. I honestly don't understand how a dealership can stay in business ignoring its customers. It's a shame, because I love my GV 80 but it's almost like they are trying to provide bad customer service and don't care about the car or customers once it leaves the lot which is not a good way to get repeat business or business through word of mouth, which they would get plenty of but I'm just going to tell people to go to a different dealership in S. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance for two recall repairs -- one for my brakes and another for the undercarriage corrosion prevention. When I booked, the representative told me I could get a loaner vehicle, since I live an hour and a half away and the work might take several hours or even overnight. She reassured me that I'd be covered and I even had my warranty so the car would come from the dealership or a rental company, and said not to worry about availability. When I arrived today, I was told to wait inside -- and the moment I asked about a loaner, I was met with a flat-out "no." Andrew couldn't even look me in the eye and was extremely dismissive. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was given to Matthew, who had just offered a rental to another customer right before me, yet suddenly claimed there were "no cars" and "nothing in the budget." Then, unbelievably, Matthew looked at me and asked, "Why would you come here?" I told him my sister had come here before, and I expected better service -- I had looked at the reviews and saw the 2.5 online but thought I'd would be fine for recalls it's nothing crazy, but clearly the negative ones were telling the truth. He then tried to offer me an Uber ride, only for Andrew to shout across the room that it was "limited to 20 miles," which doesn't even get me close to home. I'm 27 years old F, and they were completely fine with leaving me stranded for hours with no car, no clear timeline, and no concern whatsoever about how I'd get home. When I asked what would happen if the service ran past closing time, they had no answer -- just blank stares Matthew eventually scheduled me again for next Wednesday couldn't even fit me sooner for the inconvenience and told me to call ahead "to check if they might have something available." The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect was unbelievable. I left completely disappointed. I've never dealt with such rude and careless service -- especially for something that's Hyundai's own recall issue. At this point, I have zero confidence that they'll actually follow through. Our sales person, Patricia, was wonderful. But everything went sideways after that. It became a constantly changing deal, and when the lease payment was finally agreed upon, the finance person changed the lease price. He claims he figured in the transfer tag amount into the lease. (We did not agree to that.) That would mean the cost of transfer of tags would be $360. No way would it cost that much. I have asked to be shown that cost itemized in my lease....and a breakdown of how the $360 was calculated. I have been asking for 20 days. No answer!! Beware!!! read more

I took my vehicle to Delray Hyundai for an open recall service. I had to return twice because the first time, after spending an entire day there they told me they had to order the part. The second time I returned Clarissa, the service advisor assigned to me called me after my car had been there for approximately 6 hours to say they had repaired the trunk latch but that it needed another part that costs $1,000. I refused. She asked if I would like my car to be washed. I said yes. When I picked up my car six hours after dropping it off nothing had been done... no repair and no car wash. Hyundai is a very reputable quality brand. Delray Hyundai totally misrepresents the Hyundai brand with their deceptive practices and total lack of integrity. I had an awful experience at this dealership. My husband brought our 2018 Hyundai santa fe AWD sport with 75,000 miles on it on Monday. Fender liner was replaced, $700. The groaning sound before we replaced the fender liner continued. Service checked the vehicle and said we needed a caliper kit front brake, a pad kit, front dis and a hub assembly front wheel for a total of parts and labor of $1839.00. They kept the car because they did not have a caliper until Thursday. Meanwhile the service mgr kept telling us the car would be ready shortly. He never called to give us an update and never answered his phone after repeated calls. They have a good trick going. You leave the car with them and an uber takes you back to your home. They then keep your car for days despite promises it will done next day. By ubering you home they feel free to keep your car as long as it is convenient for them. THE HELL WITH THE CUSTOMER. I would never buy a new Hyundai from this dealer nor would I ever bring the car for repairs. The service writer was rude and uninformed. I don't know how they stay in business. I give them one star. If I could give zero stars, I would. My mom had her Hyundai Santa Fe towed here because the check engine light was on and she got a warning on her screen that it needed to be seen "TODAY". The car before the engine light came on, was having issues shifting gears every time she would accelerate. We had it towed and after a couple days they said they couldn't recreate the issue, the light was "off" and diagnostic scan looked fine. Well she had it back ONE day before the engine light came on AGAIN and it was lurching AGAIN. We went there before they closed just now (website says service closes at 4pm) it was not even 3:30 and they said they were closing in 5 minutes. Do not bring your car here. Do not buy your car here. I am only speaking about their service department. I have had my vehicle serviced by them 3 times for the complementary vehicle maintenance. And they never rotated the tires as requested causing additional wear on my front tires which now have to be replaced at 17k miles because they never rotated them. In addition to that they added the wrong oil (who knows what that will do). I would avoid them for any service as it will end up costing you more in the long run. read more

I waited more than three months for a service appointment for rear camera not working and a recall notice. The appointment was for a Monday. When I dropped off the car, they said they needed it until Friday, so I had to rent an auto at considerable expense. When I came to pick up the car it was untouched. I purchased a 2025 Ioniq 6 on March 7th. It was the second vehicle I had purchased from Delray Hyundai. I agreed and signed the salesman's offer. However, when the actual invoice was presented, it was completely fabricated to the dealer's benefit. I had originally agreed to their mandatory charge for etching and ziridium for $199.00 each. I was never even offered an option. I don't have any idea what ziridium even means. But when I was shown the final invoice, instead of charging $199.00 for each, the invoice was changed to $399.00 for something called NSD theft protection. When I questioned the charge for the extra $200, I was told that I had purchased a theft protection extension. The fact is I specifically denied all extended warranty options. When they showed me where I signed for it, the document showed that I had agreed to decline all protection products. But on the other side of the document, it showed that I selected something called NSD etch for $399. There was nothing specified for theft protection in the document and the finance representative never explained it to me. All the representative tried to do for 45 minutes was to hard sell me into purchasing the warranty extensions and never explained any of the documents he had me sign. When I came back to the dealership shortly after the purchase and attempted to discuss the matter with Mr. Eric Rice, the sales manager, he rudely and arrogantly explained that I had purchased the theft protection and showed me the signature. He claimed that the deal had already been finalized and there was nothing he could do to cancel the protection. Of course the signature was on a document that showed nothing about theft protection. In summary, my experience with Delray Hyundai was very disappointing and I would never recommend anyone do business with this dealership. They are manipulative, arrogant and misleading. read more

We purchased a 2024 Hyundai Tucson at the end of January 2024. Starting in July of 2024 the entertainment screen started flickering occasionally. That progressed to daily flickering and then the console completely blacking out. We had to wait one month for an available appt at Hyundai Delray around October 2024. We worked with Jennifer who said the service manager anticipated having to pull the entire entertainment screen out, order parts, and replace it which could take over a week and offered us a loaner if that had to happen. Jennifer called back the next day and told us the service manager reset the system (unplugged and replugged) and that solved the problem. Jennifer was wonderful to work with. The exact same problem started again in March 2025. We tried calling Hyundai 5 separate times throughout the day and every time it went to voicemail. Finally someone returned our call the next day and we made another appt with Hyundai Delray on April 21. My husband dropped the vehicle off and spoke to Rodney. My husband showed Rodney videos demonstrating what the screen was doing and informed him this is the second time we are here for the same issue on a barely 1 year old vehicle. Rodney assured my husband he will follow through and solve the problem. We received a phone call on April 22 saying the vehicle was ready to be picked up. I arrived at Hyundai Delray just after 4pm on April 22. When I asked the front desk what Rodney did to the vehicle she said NOTHING. I immediately asked for Rodney. Rodney told me he could not fix it because the screen did not flicker when he was looking at it. I said this is the second time we are here for the same problem and my husband showed you videos of it happening. Rodney repeated he can not fix it if he doesn't see it happen. Rodney refused to get me the service manager Matthew. I then said I'm getting my husband on the phone because you wouldn't be talking to me like this if I had a dick, it's only because I'm female. Rodney said extremely aggressively, "I am not afraid of you and I am not afraid of your husband!" I demanded to speak with someone else. Rodney got his supervisor Manny. I explained to Manny that Rodney should have seen all of the notes in your system from our appt in October explaining this is the second time this has happened and I showed Manny the videos of it occurring. I said this vehicle is barely a year old, under warranty and must be fixed per our contract. Manny said he will gladly work on fixing the problem and provided me with a loaner vehicle. Rodney does not belong in customer service, let alone a supervisory role. As a 44 year old woman I have never been spoken to with such disrespect and aggression. It is clear Rodney never read the notes in your system from our previous visit nor did he sit in the car for more than 2 minutes to assess the screen. Rodney has no work ethic & does not belong on the floor interacting with customers. He is a disgusting human being and we hope his inability to do his job is handled with his supervisor. read more

DO NOT USE THIS HYUNDAI! BEWARE! I initially called Delray Hyundai on Friday Sept 26th 2025 to schedule a service appointment for multiple issues, including a partial bumper replacement, door push-button repairs, an oil change, a full detail, wiper blades, and tire rotation. During my first call, I was put on hold, told the systems were down, and then hung up on. Later, I received an email confirming an appointment, but when I called to clarify, the staff did not know what the appointment was for and refused to connect me with the service manager. I left a message expressing my dissatisfaction and mentioned I would reflect it in a survey. When I went to the dealership in person, I was told by staff members Matthew a service manager and GSM Mario that my car would not be serviced because I had "threatened a survey" and that the dealership did not need my business. I asked for the general manager's name and was told there was none, and I was forced to leave. They literally told me to leave the premises. I also attempted to contact Hyundai Corporate to file a complaint. This level of service, lack of transparency, and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. I never once yelled at them on the phone or in person. I gave multiple opportunities to fix the situation. I would caution anyone considering Delray Hyundai that customer service and proper management appear to be serious issues. Save yourself from this frustration and use another Hyundai. read more

Horrible service dept. No one will answer their phones. called 6 times got 6 voice mails, including the service manager. They have had my car for 3 days. No communication on what is going on with it. No one will call back. Had to call the Corp complaint line to try to get a resolution. This is the worst service dept I have ever seen, especially at a dealership. Complaint about Lack of Customer Service and Lying I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the lack of customer service and the dishonesty I experienced during my recent interaction with your dealership. On 03/29/2023, I contacted your customer service department regarding an issue I was having with my car I purchased from your company. The representative I spoke with was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my issue. After several attempts to get assistance, I was finally able to get an appointment where I told her I will need a loaner car and an early morning appointment, and I stated to the representative that my a/c, gear and regular service needed to be done on my car. which she said was fine. However, I later discovered that this was not true. When I reached the dealership another representative who was unable to assist me and resolve my issue said they don't have a loaner car for me and probably won't be able to look at my car until next weekend. It was clear that the first representative had lied to me and had no intention of helping me. I even spoken to the Genesis department manager who was also unhelpful in this even didn't seem interested in helping, but was more relaxed as if this is a common thing for this location and service. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service I received and the dishonesty I encountered. As a loyal customer of your Genesis, I expect better treatment and honesty from your representatives. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take steps to ensure that this does not happen to other customers in the future. I'm sure no one is going to reach out to me to solve this matter but I will do my best to make sure I posted everything about this location so others won't have the same problem I'm having. read more

Never dealt with a service department that doesn't answer their phone or provide an update for 12 days. Don't bother trying to get through to anyone INCLUDING managers, (even on their direct line!) they do not answer either. My grandmothers car is not even getting service done, just a diagnosis and they have had the car for 12 days. We've received not one update from them. They also sent her home without offering loaner car (she did not know to ask). Im still awaiting some sort of call back. I wish I could rate ZERO stars. Looking forward to getting rid of my grandmas Hyundai because of this experience. They should be absolutely ashamed that this is how they treat elderly customers. read more
