Delish pizza is slowly becoming my go to for pizza. It's located next to a massage parlor and Baskin- Robbins. This shopping center has quite a few businesses but has ample parking. There's a Round Table across the street, that never seems too busy. I've been to this location a few times now. It seems like there's a few locations but this is the closest to me. I usually build my own pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni. Theres an option of vegan sausage as well. They offer wings, pasta dishes, calzones, salads, and even desserts. The workers here are so nice! If you place an order in person, the wait time they tell you seems to be pretty accurate. I don't mind the wait since the pizza is amazing. They usually give you ranch, plates, and napkins before you head out. Im glad I've given this place a try a while back and will continue to go here whenever I'm in the mood for pizza!! read more

As far as locally owned and operated pizza chains in the greater Sacramento area go, "Delish Pizza" is as good as it gets in terms of quality, price, and overall customer service. Best of all, there are 5 locations to serve you; Gold River (which is the one I am reviewing), College Greens/Rosemont, North Highlands, Midtown, and Woodland. This place delivers within a certain radius but if you take advantage of their "online only" pick-up deals, you can save a ton of money. Since my pizza cravings were kicking in over the weekend, I decided to place an order of a large 1-topping pizza which was an amazingly affordable $13.99 + tax. I simply requested pepperoni and a pick-up time of 6:30pm. After making the 15 minute drive from my home to the restaurant, my pizza was ready and piping hot. They included lots of packets of parmesan cheese, chili flakes, paper plates, napkins, and even ranch dipping sauce at no extra charge. After making the drive home, my pizza looked and smelled amazing. I must say that the abundance of pepperoni was apparent as this thing was loaded with it. The crust was perfectly golden while there was a ton of melted mozzarella oozing from every slice. I think the real winner here is their marinara tomato sauce they use as it was seasoned to perfection with hint of oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Overall one of the better pizzas I've had and undoubtedly tops in the Sacramento area. As I mentioned, definitely take full advantage of their online specials. Everything can be ordered exclusively on their website and if you pre-pay your meal, all you need to do is pick it up and you're good to go. All in all, "Delish Pizza" is just that; an absolutely amazing and above average pie on those nights to curb your comfort food cravings. My rating, a unanimous five stars. read more

I visited the location on Sunrise Boulevard because I promised our grand babies pizza after the movies. The problem was that it was 9PM when the movie was over & there were extremely limited places opened in the area that were opened. The menu is pretty varied with lots of pizza options. Walking in, we were greeted by very friendly faces who made us feel like family. The place is a quaint, family friendly & very clean space. We all LOVED it...both times. I absolutely loved that they had Contemporary Christian music piping through their sound system. I don't believe I've ever experienced that in a California restaurant. We opted for a 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni pizza for the grand babies & the Spartan for the rest of us. This is by far the BEST pizza I have EVER tasted! Even the cheese pizza was delicious!!! And it was pretty large. As you can see in the picture, they pile the fresh ingredients on. And the garlic white sauce is the best I've ever had...in my life!!! Rarely do I crave pizza so much that I get it two times within the same week. But, this place made me crave that Spartan Pizza with the garlic white sauce. I live in the Dallas area now & will be on a quest to find a pizza place that is comparable. This is my new fav for pizza every time I come to the Sacramento area!
