We've lived in Folsom for 25 years and took too long to find this gem but once we did, it was a game changer for our weekend family pizza night needs. I love the Supremo Classico. Ingredients are fresh and piled high, perfect cheese pulls, and zesty tomato sauce. I also appreciate that the bacon bits here are not from a wholesale bag. They are fried and cut fresh! The only downside is that wait for pizza can take a while sometimes but they are great about serving everything steaming hot once it's ready. I've been going here for over 20 years. It was my only go to place in Folsom. I would bring all out of town visitors. My last 3 visits have gotten progressively worse. 1 visit 2 months ago. I ordered my usual garlic chips and antipasto salad with their wonderful Italian dressing. The chips were subpar almost tasteless but the salad was good. 2nd visit 1 month ago. The wait for food took along time considering it was peak lunch time and the restaurant only had 4 other tables occupied. I ordered my usual with a friend. Salads were great garlic chips all dried out seemed like maybe microwaved left overs. We only maybe had one or two pieces . I did call to speak to a manager the following day just to informed of our disappointment. He only made excuses which is a-shame. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because my sister-in-law came over on Monday 1/19/2026 I suggested going to pizzeria Classico . Let's try it again. We went around 12. There was maybe five tables, including ours. My sister-in-law was craving spaghetti and I said it had to be good here even though I've never had it before. I ordered garlic chips and my salad. Let's start with the garlic chips. They were a little fresher than the last ones but tasteless again I don't know if they're cutting back and getting cheaper cheese or what they're doing that's different but it was not good. Usually I can eat a whole pan by myself. I think I ate two pieces. My sister-in-laws pasta on the other hand was horrific. It was a pile of spaghetti, I don't know what kind of noodles they were, but they were kind of thick and all stuck together with what appeared to be a can of watery chopped tomatoes, very sparingly put on top and the meatballs were also thrown on top. They were fairly good size which was nice but they were very over cooked. No sauce at all. I did not try them. My sister-in-law took a bite of one and said it was so dried up, she could barely swallow it. We set them on the edge of the table the waitress never came back to the table. My sister-in-law will eat any kind of pasta and she couldn't even take a second bite of this. I'm sorry to say. The topper, my salad with Italian dressing that (I love ) they ran out of the dressing at 12:15. What is that all about? I tried it with balsamic no not the same. Tried it with thousand island no not the same extremely disappointing! I do have to mention that it is a pizzeria place and they do have good pizza but I haven't had any in a couple years so I cannot testify to them. The garlic chips are supposed to be well-known and delicious and again totally tasteless. To sum up, my salad was hardly eaten the garlics chips barely touched and my sister-in-law only ate a piece of garlic toast. I really wish I would've taken pictures. read more

Our party of 5 ordered a Caesar salad, veggie and Hawaiian without the bacon pizzas. The Caesar salad was pretty good. Fresh lettuce, crispy croutons and not over dressed. The veggie pizza was I think the best I've had. The crust was crispy and didn't go limp despite being loaded with veggies. The veggies were perfectly seasoned and cooked, but fresh. The Hawaiian pizza was however a different story. It lacked crispiness. As soon as I picked it up all the toppings fell off and the thin crest dough wasn't thoroughly cooked. I enjoyed the pizza here, rating on the lower end due to the service. Our wait to sit was 40 minutes, it ended up being actually close to an hour. We were sat at a large table that was split between us and another group. We didn't get our waters or any acknowledgment for about 10 minutes once we were sat. Our appetizer took 40 minutes to come out, followed by our pizza 5 minutes later. When we asked for a set of Parmesan and red pepper flakes, we were told to share with the other party at our shared table, to which we said no, they are using it. The waiters response was to bring us about 5 packets total of the togo Parmesan and pepper flakes, not the actual glass containers they serve in house. (For 4 people). It was very rude response, paired with the incredibly long wait time, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The actual pizza was tasty, a good ratio of cheese to toppings to bread. read more

This place does NOT have hard liquor. Its beer and wine only however, you can get a drink from the restaurant upstairs and come here for dinner, which is exactly what we did. You smell the garlic right when you walk in and it smells AMAZING. We ordered the garlic chips which were DELISH! Then we ordered a small Siciliana and wow, it was SO FLAVORFUL! This place is good but it's not wow good it's pretty good though. I had a combination deep dish pizza and it was OK. I wouldn't recommend that as a deep dish but it was OK. We had a lot of leftovers. Their pesto chips was amazing. Definitely recommend that but they are not chips. FYI. The customer service is really good. Our guy was very nice to help us out. We came here for the deep dish pizza as I have been on a search for one to match that of my old hometown. It was good but wasn't exactly what we were expecting. The crust was delicious and tasted of fresh dough. The cheese however had an interesting taste to it once it started cooling down. We also got the mozzarella pizzette which had a great portioned sauce to cheese ratio. All in all good pizza. I've came here a few times before and I will say the food is excellent, but unfortunately on my most recent visit the service was not satisfactory. We sat on their patio which may have been a reason why we weren't checked on, nevertheless that should not be a reason for bad service. The pizza took nearly 40 minutes to come to the table and furthermore I had to go myself to get the check since they never came to check up after the food was sent out. Pizza Classico in Historic Folsom has you covered in the pizza category ... they have thin crust, regular hand tossed crust, deep dish, and Chicago styled stuffed. Also on the menu are appetizers, sandwiches (served until 3pm), salads, pasta, and wine and beer. So they aren't a one trick pony. Hubs really digs their pizzas and has been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I enjoy their pizzas but not as much as him. He luvs this place! His go to is the regular crust. It is hand tossed and oven baked with a bready crust. The crust has a nice chew to it. The salads are basic and simple, always fresh tasting. This place is sit down table service with cloth napkins. But they do not have a restroom in the restaurant. You might want to ask the server about the restrooms because it has been a very long hot minute since I used them. Not sure if a code or key is currently needed. The closest one is the shared buildings public restroom on the second floor which you can get to by elevator or outdoor stairs. It is a bit of a jaunt, so plan accordingly to give yourself lead time. read more

A+ service. The moment we walked in, Domingo the host greeted us, seated us, and made us feel welcomed. He handed us menus, gave us suggestions on food options and brought us drinks. Our pizza was cooked and served to us within 12- minutes. He checked in sporadically to see if we needed anything and also gave us desert options. He even wished my son a happy birthday when he overheard my conversation with my boys. Domingo mentioned that this establishment is family owned for 40years and you can tell. As each customer in the restaurant was treated equally with service and attention. Stark contrast to how we were treated at the restaurant we visited upstairs before we came here. I have been coming here for many years. It had been a good long while since visiting. The food prepared here is excellent. The service left something.to be desired. There was only 2 other tables in use one outside and one inside. Seated inside at a booth with my wife. After being seated we.ordered water and a soda. We got those and it took 10-15 minutes for the server to return to the table to take or order. Ordered a medium "Pops Pick" pizza. One of our old favorites, and I ordered a caesar salad. While we were waiting for our order the other 2 tables were done Now just us in the place. Waited a long time for food to arrive and here comes the pizza. Where is the salad, I asked? Oh, he said....you did not get it? No I did not. WHY WHY WHY, when you order a salad would you not bring it first? He promptly returned with the salad within 2 minutes. Like I said, the food was good, but dammit why can't you focus on getting the only table in the place their order in a timely matter? Very annoying. If you are.a server and you only have ONE guest sitting there, get the order right and make the guest feel welcome. My husband and I wandered in during a weekday checking out Sutter Street. This was the best stop!!! We split an antipasta salad and enjoyed a margharita pizza. I have had these in so many places around town...never done like this. While we were the only people dining, the service was awesome. Loved the quiet atmosphere and gentle music.
