First time flying this airline and it has been a nice experience as of now as I sit and wait for the plane to load up. The attendants in the front were helpful answering my questions being that it was my first time and explaining a bit of the boarding process and levels of flight experiences. We were greeted upon entering and handed sanity wipes. The flight attendants were very helpful getting us situated. I was glad to see they offer priority to those handicap and Active military personnel as some airlines stop doing with or both. The screen is very easy to use with options for movies, series, my flight,about delta, food and drink, and more. As of now I do not have a complaint about this airline. read more

I love this airline. Service was 109/109 it was ALWAYS ON TIME and super clean. Had everything amazing.

This is a good location and the staff have been very helpful. For the first time in my travels here, my bag was left back in NYC (arrrgh!!!) but the local Delta staff were very nice and accommodating. There have been many renovations within the terminal and it's a relaxed (duty-free) environment. read more

What a great airline! We flew Delta from CLE to ATL and then ATL to SJU. Flying to San Juan is the longest flight we have taken, and we were apprehensive. We usually fly more budget friendly airlines like Frontier. We were immediately impressed with Delta. Their seats are much more comfortable than frontier! And the built in TVs in front of you are AWESOME! So many NEW and old TV shows and movies to choose from! And would be great for kids as there is a while kids and games section! It also allows you to track your flight live and see things like how fast you are going and the weather. Very fun! We will absolutely fly Delta from now on! read more

If i could give more stars I would!! Me and my family came evacuated from sint maarten, displaced and helpless. But the second we stepped up to the delta counter to try and book a hopeless flight home, the staff went above and beyond!! Calling booking support, putting us on standby lists, calling personal hotel references, and spending almost an hour to help us. We went to a hotel with more hope than we arrived with. Then on our day of departure, we were greeted at our gate with smiles, support, and a full BBQ meal on them! So thank you Carlos, Karla, Annie, and Edwin at San Juan Delta, we are forever grateful!! read more

OK. I am a bit skewed on my opinion. THE NEGATIVES: *****WE WERE STUCK ON THE TARMAC FOR 3.5 HOURS*********** I don't think I have to say anymore about that...but please let me elaborate. A flight attendant decided a passenger needed to get the hell off the plane, so we sloooooowly perused our way back to the terminal to drop off said pain in the a** passenger. OH BUT WAIT. that little stroll cost our plane about a 1/4 tank of gas. so NOW we have to wait for the gas truck to come and fill us up. Now. I can't type anymore because I can literally feel my blood pressure rise as I write this. so let's move on to the positive. THE POSITIVES: our return flight was nothing less then FANTASTIC. the crew was dare I say; funny?? we were served endless amounts of snacks and beverages that I actually had to use the restroom (something I really try not to do if I can help it) We landed even EARLY. so, you can see my tug of war on this review... but seriously Delta, 3.5 hours???? two stars is the best I can do. read more

Delta has horrible customer service. My sister flew to St. Thomas on 9/1/17 and everything was fine with her luggage. She tried to fly back on 9/4/17 and Delta would not allow her on the plane because of the SHAPE of her bag. It's the exact same bag she flew down there with. There is nothing on Delta's website saying that your luggage must be a certain shape. She is now stranded in St. Thomas during a category 5 hurricane. Delta doesn't care and the supervisor was laughing at her as she told her that she could not board the plane. They were completely unprofessional and no one in my family will ever fly Delta again. read more

My flight back home from SJU to JFK.. I arrived at the airport a little over an hour before my flight was scheduled to leave (4:45pm). Your Delta Rep sent me to check my baggage which after standing on line for 15 minutes waiting I decided to just go back and check in before I lost my flight.. As I arrive back to the counter, the rep informs me that I'm late and cannot check in. I informed her that I had already checked-in and paid the $25 fee for my luggage online, but she said according to the system, I DID NOT and I cannot get on this flight because it's overbooked. I asked if they can atleast let my husband go on without luggage and very rudely, I was told NO! I am told I have to come back the next morning for another flight on standby. I arrive at the airport an hour and fifteen minutes again and make it in to the gate this time. This flight was also overbooked as they were all for that weekend. Once again, I was dealing with a group of extremely unprofessional customer service people. I noticed that they were allowing people to still arrive at the gate and board up to 8am, which was the time of departure. A group of about 15 arrived at the gate no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time and another 5 passenger right at 8am. Obviously, I did not make it on but couldn't understand why I was so abruptly turned away the day before when I was there with plenty of time to make it on my flight. The Supervisor at the gate was extremely rude and nasty. At that point we decided to call the airline and was able to get on a flight back home the next evening thanks to a 1 very helpful rep. This was a very uncomfortable situation as I was traveling with my 2 children and husband. We lost 2 days of work and ended up renting 2 extra cars and another 2 hotel stays for those 2 days. Their customer service at SJU is very unprofessional. I would give it a NO stars but thats not an option! read more

Seats are uncomfortable and super cramped but they give free non alcohol drinks and snacks plus free movies during the flight! Prices are fair. Unless ur carry-on is tiny u will have to check it in because the over head storage is really small. Decent airline read more

You guys left me and my family stranded in Puerto Rico you cancelled our flights 5 days in a row to put on people that we're paying top dollar every other Airline had some kind of support for their people and your company Delta Airlines didn't even have a representative to let us know what was going on how come every other Airline had emergency flights humanitarian fights? Why didn't Delta Airline provide the necessary help that we needed at least some water it amazes me that a multi-billion-dollar company can just leave elderly people babies and over 600 people that had scheduled flights abandoned is Puerto Rico a third world country? Are we not American? At the end of the day Delta Airlines never flew me out nor my family United Airlines flew us out on a humanitarian flight where was Delta's humanitarian flight? Why did you leave us stranded like that at the airport specially in 90 to 100 degree weather especially with my 8 month year old daughter do you know how hard it is when you run out of daipers and formula with no cell phones to call a taxi to run to the store to top it off no ATMs no money no food no water nowhere to sleep or lay down other airlines provided their clients with hotels food and at least had representatives to represent them but yet Delta put us in the side of the airport where it was flooded and leeking from the ceiling dark with no power . Delta Airlines is inhumane a disgrace to humanity and should be shut down. read more

Flying sucks. That's what most people's reviews are reacting to - the crappy experience of flying on a plane, packed in like sardines with morons. There's no getting around that. But my review isn't about flying, it's about the people at delta and the difference an excellent customer service experience makes. I've long been a United person. With home bases in San Francisco and now NYC that made the most sense. I have a United credit card, regularly visit the lounge, the whole nine yards. United has extracted a great deal of cash from me over the years. I have nothing against them and will probably fly them again. But delta now has my total loyalty. Last night I found out my father in law was dying. in order to make it out in time to say goodbye i needed to change my flight from a round trip from JFK to San Juan (I was vacationing in Puerto Rico at the time) to fly straight to sfo as soon as possible. When I called, i didn't think to tell the customer service rep what was happening, I just told her I needed the cheapest option to change my flights. She heard the tension in my voice and asked me if it was a medical emergency that was making me change my plans. When I said yes, that my father in law was dying, she waived the change fee and found me a flight that cost $80 in difference. I was expecting to pay hundreds. Small kindnesses like these are hugely important when you're scared and frantic and just trying to keep it together. She was so kind and understanding and I felt like I was talking to a human being who understands what it's like to be losing a loved one instead of a soulless corporation. I will fly delta for the rest of my life. Thank you so much to that customer service rep - I'm sorry I don't remember your name but I hope you get a promotion. I flown 3 time with Delta and once with KLM (owned by Delta). The planes were all very date (old). Movies shown about 10 years old. Headset connections not working...We missed 1 flight due to long customs lines and we were at the airport 4 hours prior to scheduled take off. Although Delta technically not responsible for the missed flight, they did nothing to help get us on the next flight causing us to miss the connecting flight. We had to stay overnight in Atlanta. On our return, our flight was delayed 7 hours due to Technical difficulties, engine and AC issues. We missed yet another connecting flight, this time the issues was in their end. Only after several calls and over 2 hours on the phone, they have said they will make accommodations and did. Overall experience 0. This airline should just shutdown! Less than 1 star. read more

This is my 3rd time flying with Delta. Twice to Puerto Rico. This trip was by far the worst experience I have had on a vacation. I was due to arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Thursday, May 5 at 2:30 pm. Our flight was delayed several hours due to the air craft having a generator problem. I arrived around 9:30 pm , losing a full day of vacation that was paid for. Apon departure from the airport, I was scheduled to depart at 2:20 pm Tuesday, May 10. Arriving at the airport at 12 pm, I arrived at the gate at 2:06 pm , to be told that I had missed my flight. They called my name over the intercom as last call, when I was two short gates away. They closed the doors and I was told I was now on stand by. Not only did this experience with the airline shorten my vacation time, it also interefered with scheduling and family matters upon arrival home. I completely understand that technical issues happen, and cannot be predicted. However, in a rush to get home, having the air line call my name ONLY TWO GATES AWAY, WITH THE DOOR ALREADY CLOSED, AND DEPARTING EARLY was ridiculous. Never again will I fly with airline. read more
