The staff there was less than accommodating and we got an option to either get a refund for the flight returning to Chicago or we would get a one night stay in a hotel and they would put us on the next available flight which wasn't until three nights after our original flight cancellation. They would not give us a three night stay (even tho that's how long we would be forced to stay in San Juan for) We were stuck in the airport for 5+ hours with no help, no flight, and no where to stay. DO NOT FLY FRONTIER!!!!

I was supposed to fly Dominica to San Juan. Flight was delayed delayed delayed. Power down. Angry representative demanded our passports and started loading our luggage when suddenly the flight was cancelled due to 'weather'. As someone who flies regularly I saw flights were actively arriving and departing in both Dominica and San Juan and surrounding islands. No idea why seaborne cancelled. Secondly the agent started yelling OVER the announcement (???) that seaborne will not be providing any taxi, accommodation etc and then ripped tiny pieces of paper with seabornes corporate number, grabbed her purse and ran out the airport never to be seen again. Well calling Seaborne was another disaster. I guess they use headsets since they seem to be scratching their ass and head the same time. Eventually after explaining over and over what happened they told me they could get me a flight in three days and no help with a place or anywhere to stay. No thanks. I got a flight out of Dominica that same day and was home in the US the day after (a day and half before seaborne wanted to get me home). Save your sanity - fly a major carrier with more flights or LIAT even. If you must fly them allocate an extra day or two for potential error. Lesson learned.

We had to ask when it was coming they basically just said "it's based on weight, Might be later today maybe tomorrow we don't know". They took our number and description of the bags. We didn't hear from them for a while so we just drove there to check and no bags yet. At 4:57 pm we received a call that we missed and another at 5:01 pm. Called back at 5:05 and said we were on our way. Person was rude said that we needed to hurry because they closed soon. We arrived at 5:20 (had to drive from flamenco beach) bags were locked up and no one was there for us to get the bags. Person knew we were on our way. Next morning same person was there when we picked up the luggage. She very rude, argued with us and didn't even apologize. If you travel to culebra from San Juan beware your checked luggage might not make it with you on the same day. She told this happens frequently.

It felt very disorganized, & the lines were extremely long which made everything feel slow & a bit stressful. I also needed an accommodation & ended up waiting quite a while b4 getting assistance. Part of the delay came from not being told at the check-in counter that I needed to show my boarding pass @ the accommodation station. I was told someone would be w/ me shortly & to sit by the accommodation area, so I waited (but it ended up taking longer than expected). Eventually, I realized what was going on & went up to the accommodation station myself. When I got there, the employee acted as if I was supposed to already know I needed to present my boarding pass, which added to the frustration in the moment. The long waits & lack of clear instructions made things more difficult than it needed to be. However,when I got to the JetBlue gate the employees there were way nicer & helpful. They seemed to have it together. So it's a mixed experience.

A big open area with ample seating, shopping and dining areas.
