This was my second time using Delta Eye care to get glasses but this time after 40 days i got my glasses and that were not proper so i requested them to fix it i will pay difference but the owner the guy was very rude n even the lady who was at fault disappear from that place. she even not inform me facts about the glasses n wanted to make more money for sizes n all. i paid a huge amount for my glasses n i am not able to wear those. They even don't care about my problem. i will never go to this place again. read more

While being helpful with answering any of my questions, they were also efficient on helping me receive my contacts on time or letting me know if any complications when I called in to check up on my orders status. read more

I visited the store last time I was in Bay area, got a pair of glasses. I was greeted with smile the moment I walked in. Great customer service. they had the brand and the style I was looking for and the price was good. So, it was easy transaction and pleasure shopping at Delta Eyecare. I don't understand what some people are talking about in their reviews. Seems like they have some kind of personal issues with the owner. I believe , it should not be mixed with the operation of the specific business. Bottom line is that I had a great experience shopping and I recommend this store to everyone who is looking for specific style, high quality, luxury brand glasses. read more

I didn't really have a great experience when I walked in there. All the frames were locked up and had to ask Bianca? if I could try some frames on. She didn't ask me any questions nor did she really help me look for any styles. When I had asked her if she could write the styles down for me because I didn't have my phone on me, she did not write the frames down completely. I had to write more info down myself. They do have a lot of nice frames but they're so jam packed in these locked glass cases that it's hard to see what you're looking at. read more

Beware of the owner Bianca. Told me they can install new lenses on my rimless frames. Wrong. They recut the lenses twice and couldn't get it right. Then ended up lying to me saying that the screw on my new 3k glasses are bent. I finally took my glasses back and looked up another spot with great reviews and got them done professionally. I tried to get my $ back or compensated for them not able to do the work professionally and for lying to me and she did not care at all. I ended up paying for lenses that she couldn't install. Waste of $. Don't waste your $ here. She comes off nice but does not care about you. DONT WASTE you time with bad business people. She really has no heart read more

This place is such a hassle to work with, repeatedly. First, my insurance doesn't even have 'delta Eyecare' listed, it's listed under the doctor's name so I couldn't google to get info. I called the number my insurance gave me and was able to schedule my eye exam in March for contacts & glasses. They pressured me and fought me to give me a copy of my prescription that I paid for. I had contacts at home leftover and wanted to make sure correct Rx. So months later I run out, call to get my prescription copy sent again (I lost mine months ago) and Tyler tells me there is no company name, it is just the doctor's name and he is emailing my Rx. He didn't. So I drive 20min to this office to get it myself and explain that their own employees don't follow through what they are supposed to do and also can't read company names printed on the door, saying Delta Eyecare. The number my insurance provided was different than the two numbers on delta's website, and searching the doctor on google maps in union city and Google itself shows Dr Jane Liao under several local addresses and companies. Oh, and the excuses when I did the trouble of driving over to do their job for them was computer trouble... he couldn't have been honest and told me my prescription wasn't going to be sent so don't wait days for it? He couldn't have called back and said he messed up, it's broken? He couldn't have told me the name of the company when I said 'I'm having trouble finding your info searching the doctor, can you tell me the name of this company so I can find it?' Thanks rude office in person and over the phone both visits for making it so hard to just do the most basic thing: eye exam and giving the patient their prescription without hassling them to fill it in-house. Walmart, Costco, anywhere is less incompetent and give you less grief to take your Rx elsewhere. I will speak with my insurance about this as well. 2 stars because it's clean and a large store I guess. read more

Quite disappointed with services right now. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, but they need to at least update their website/phone message/store hours/communicate to their customers, etc. I ordered and paid in full for a set of prescription glasses in early March, before shelter in place was in effect. It's been two months and I still have not received my glasses or heard back from the store. I've left voice mails and sent email communication, nothing. I randomly stopped by in early April to see if they were open. To my surprise they were open but told me they weren't supposed to be helping customers. I asked about my glasses, they said they were done but when they went to get them, it didn't even look like they had sent them in for the prescription !!! I was told they would call me back, I'm still waiting. Their voice mail said they would be open today at 10, I drop by, store is closed. Aweful, just aweful.... read more

I learned about Delta Optical about 12 years ago when they were in Newark, CA. The optometrist I was going to at the time was unable to repair my glasses. Another patient at that optometry office overheard my dilemma and told me about Delta Optical. They were able to repair my glasses and have been my provider of choice ever since! I trust Bianca to give me honest feedback and help me select eye ware I will be happy with. I've been a customer of this store for at least 15 years, maybe longer, going back to when they were in Newark. Always received pretty good service until recently. Brought in my Nike frames to have nose pads replaced. Owner called later to tell me they didn't have exact replacement because they are discontinued, but could replace them with something similar. OK. Upon picking up my frames, I told owner the tabs on the new nose pads (which fit through hole on frame) were too small and the nosepads would probably fall off. She said she "sealed them ". In other words, super glued them. I told her I would try them, but I wasn't happy. Not a professional repair, especially for $18. After a week they were both loose and one fell off. Eventually, I lost one so I went back to the store. I gave her the opportunity to fix the problem, but only got excuses. She said she tried to fit 2 other pairs of nose pads on my frame, but damaged both trying to install them. Thus, she had to settle for the ones with the smaller tab. Unbeknownst to me, the 2 damaged pairs were added to the cost of my repair. Why does the customer eat this cost? I could have gone to Walmart and bought ill fitting nose pads and done the same bad repair for $3. She had no solution other than to suggest modifying the frames by soldering on different nose pad arms. No offer of a refund. She should have just told me from the beginning that she couldn't fix it. Then to top it off, she insulted me when I showed her my daughter's glasses with stick on pads that I said would probably work just as well. She said I put them on her frames wrong. Seriously? There's only one way they go on my friend. The stick on one's work great on my frames and they cost me $1 on ebay. I've purchased numerous lenses and frames there and have had glasses repaired there as well, but I will no longer be going back. The insult was the last straw. read more

BEWARE OF THIS STORE!! Other customers have already talked about Bianca (owner and manager ). Customers have talked about how rude she is! Not only rude, but she is cunning, she will deceive you on making you believe that VSP insurance or your vision insurance is accepted. Beware because she will imply that during the conversation or when you walk in and discuss about payments. Her computer system allows her to find out your coverage so that when she asks you of your identification number such as social security or member number, you will tend to think that she accepts VSP or other insurance. As always, if you are "OUT OF NETWORK", you will be paying more. I understood the "OUT OF NETWORK" AND "IN NETWORK" when I shop around but I was fooled by her. I was led to believe when she went to check my benefits from her computer system. I found out when I called VSP and was told that she is "OUT OF NETWORK". I asked VSP how did she get to check my allowance and other pertinent information and VSP said that she has a software that gives them access to VSP as if she is "IN NETWORK" Also she overcharge!! Another provider told me when I had to show the eyeglasses I got from Bianca to do a minor repair as I refuse personally to come back and see Bianca because of her rudeness. The other provider said that I was "ripped off" and just don't go back to her. Just want to make you aware there are businesses out there with no ethics and would do things to make money. BEWARE!!!!Delta Eyecare is dishonest! Don't trust them. My boyfriend and I purchased a Groupon for a new pair of glasses that included the exam (says so right on the voucher). First, we arrived on time and nobody was there. Finally, after 15 minutes, a woman drives up and opens up. I immediately shared that we had a Groupon and the receptionist told us to hold onto it until the end of the appointment. Then the receptionist hands us an intake form asking for a social security number!! Finally, my boyfriend goes into another room for his appointment and meets with the optometrist (a woman who was waiting outside with us for the door to open), who asks for his credit card to pay for the appointment and says she's not affiliated with Delta Eyecare. Not knowing what was happening, he agrees, she takes the money and completes a lightening quick exam. When he's done, I again present the $200 voucher and the receptionist says we can use it only on glasses. We selected 1 pair of glasses and with the voucher, they were almost $900!!!!! So, as it turned out, I purchased the voucher for nothing, drove for 45 minutes (one way), waited and wasted time on a Saturday morning!!!!.. Its a scam!!!!! We ended up at JC penny optical and purchased 2 pair of glasses for less than 1/3 of the price!! Bottom line-stay away!! I wish we had. read more
