I loved this facility....until after about 2 months when I found rat poop all over my dining chairs (and elsewhere)! Thankfully the chairs were mostly covered with a blanket, but there was A LOT of poop, and I know those rats were all over my chairs and other items being stored. Tried to report this to on-site manager but after multiple calls and letting the phone ring until it shut off, I had to call Corporate. This happened on a Monday. No manager on site nor answering phones. Couldn't even leave a message cuz no voicemail! Corporate offered apologies but stated that I assume ALL risk. Rats are not my responsibility. The storage facility has dozens of rat boxes outside but you can see they haven't been serviced in forever. They are crusted with cobwebs and leaves. Also, several large spiders and their webs obstruct the light switch at the entry door! So, no housekeeping of any kind but you are still obligated to pay full rent, even with rats running around your storage unit. BEWARE! read more

Gary does have a lot to say, but very friendly which we were able to start a conversation besides the storage. He shown me different storage sizes which would better fit for my items. This is crazy I am current customer who has two storages at this property and every time I show up the elevator is broken and not in use today on 6/16/25 I came to get something's out of my storage because I just recently moved in to my new home. My storages are on the 3rd floor so I use the elevator to go back and forth to transport on my second trip up and down everything was fine but on the third trip the elevator stopped working so I then thought I'll just use the stairs but then I check all the stairs doors and they are all locked so I go to check and ask the employees about the situation but all the doors are locked to the office and the lights are off but the signs say it's open this is not the first time I have been here where either the elevator was broken and couldnt access my belongings because the stairs are locked or the employees or being at the office when it's clearly office hours. The worst part is my storage is still open on the 3rd floor and my keys to my house is on my lock up on the 3rd floor with no way to access it and no employee at the office now I'm sitting and hoping that hopefully someone will show up to let me lock my storages and grab my keys and oh yeah all the doors lock at 7 this is horrible if I would of known this is how the customer service would of been I would of never chose this place this is a one star company oh yeah while I'm writing this I notice there is an elderly man stuck in the second floor cause the elevator is locked and the stairs are locked read more

I went shopping around locally to see what some of the deals were. I was purging a lot of my stuff during my December vacation and needed a smaller place to store stuff. I was looking for anything smaller than a 10 x 10 and there was a few places that were in the $100-$125 Range that I thought was pretty outrageous. I called Cypress and I was greeted by a gentleman that went over some of the details and promotions. Very nice dude and I said I'd like to come by and check out the facility and the unit. We went over a couple of options and just from the customer service alone, I chose them almost right away. What I liked the most was it's a newer facility and they had plenty of cameras. They also had a nice lobby that offered water and snacks as well as a clean bathroom. The gates times open at 7 AM and believe close at 7 PM. I wish it was 6 AM like the others but it's OK, the benefits here outweigh the others. The only bummer I really didn't like was they only have one flatbed dolly for customers to use in the entire unit. They said that the other one was damaged and one went missing as if a customer may have took it home. So I had to walk around locating this flatbed because I had about a dozen medium-size boxes filled with clothes and such and I was not about to go back-and-forth from my car to the second level for each box. I ended up finding it on the other side and it made things way easier with just two trips. I went back a few days later with more items to put away and I still had challenges looking for that flatbed dolly. Luckily I brought a wagon with me and only needed about four trips back-and-forth. read more

WOW! This is, hands-down, THE most cleanest and beautiful storage facilities I've ever seen. And while I understand it's brand new, I've used many storage facilities over my 56 years of life, and this one feels like a model home! It has street names for hallways, how fun is that? It also offers a moving truck for FREE. The metal walls are pristine white and I feel like the elevator has BETTER wood flooring than my own house! I'm so happy to have toured this place for my future storage needs. OH, and the music in the hallways makes "moving-in" a joy, and yah, I'm one of those people who dance down the isles to GOOD music in grocery stores, so this was an added bonus! We are new to the area and needed a storage for our stuff from our previous home. I did my research and chose Cypress Self Storage because of the positive reviews and the location is just 3 miles away from our new place. We first inquired through phone call (Sunday) and Sam was very helpful. We told her our concerns and she advised us to come tomorrow to further discuss it because our situation would require the Manager's decision. Monday morning we came in and were greeted by Sam and Margarett. Margarett was very helpful and helped us decide the perfect size for us! The people here truly care about their clients and would not recommend or upsell anything that a customer won't need...wow we were so impressed! I know times are hard and every one is trying their best to compensate for their losses during this pandemic but it is nice to know that there are company and people like Margarett who truly knows and care about customer service. We had to ask permission for truck use from Manager Gary (not sure of the name but that's how the name sounded to me) who Sam called and responded right away...thank God for people like them! During the move, it was raining so hard and it took us longer than the usual so we had to ask and inform them that we will need a few more hours for the truck and Margarett was able to accommodate our needs. We only have good words to say about Cypress Self Storage. The place is very clean and the people are so helpful and accommodating. We feel very safe and welcome when we first came in and now we are really impressed with their consistent, quality service that they give to their clients. Prices were unbeatable too! I'm very happy I went with this facility. 5 stars is an understatement! What has made my experience so exceptional? 1.) I was drawn here because their pricing beat out competition in the area from my research plus I liked that it was a newer facility. BUT IN NO WAY FROM MY OBSERVATION DOES THE LOWER COST MEAN A LESS QUALITY FACILITY. 2.) Jilil and Margaret! I've interacted with them on numerous occasions. They've always given me nothing but top notch customer service!! I've also seen them interact with other customers just the same. Both are friendly, accommodating, helpful...100% pleasant people to talk to and do business with. For me, this made moving better when it can be stressful. They seem to understand this and do what they can to make your experience a good one. 2.) Clean newer facility, inside and out. I haven't seen one bug or anything on ground level or 2nd level and I frequent my unit often as we wait for our house to be ready. 3.) Large elevator with padded walls, use of small or large carts near elevator to make moving into your unit easier, and in my case I opted for a climate controlled unit for storing our electronics. Which means AIR CONDITIONING throughout the building! This made moving more comfortable for us during hot days. 4.) From what I can tell their security system for the facility including their camera technology and additional alarms for individual storage units appears to be of high quality. This gives me more peace of mind our belongings are secure. 5.) Free use of moving truck for new customers moving into their unit. From my understanding (because I didn't need to use their truck) the only cost is replacing the gas you use. I've seen at least two of these moving trucks on site and they are available "first come first serve." 6.) COMPLIMENTARY coffee/tea (Starbucks/other brands), bottled water and snacks in office lobby! My boyfriend and I have had to store things on many occasions, but this place is, by far, the best place we've ever come upon. I'll start by complimenting the manager Jilil; he made sure that all of our needs were met and more! We needed more time to use the truck, and Margaret quickly accommodated us, even though it was very short notice. Our unit is very clean and we couldn't be happier. Prices compared to the other facilities are also the most affordable.
