The man at check in was very snappy and told me I couldn't access the club with an Amex Platinum card. I was just at JFK and was admitted to the Delta Club with no issues, so not sure what he was talking about. It also says the lounge is open to Platinum card holders on both the Amex and Delta apps. Really off putting experience and staff should be better trained. read more

I would have rated this higher as the staff is attentive in restocking and even cleaning surfaces etc however I rated this lower because there are ONLY gender neutral restrooms available. There are 5 total stalls and it isn't even a regular door like normal gender neutral bathrooms. It is a regular restroom with ONLY stalls where everyone stands outside the stall waiting. I am fine with the option but not when it is the ONLY option. read more

This lounge is a new lounge in the new Terminal A at this airport and it is noooiiiceee!!!! Definitely a HUGE upgrade from the previous Delta lounge here. They did a great job with the lighting and the décor with various seating options. The staff were friendly and the food was good. Minus one star because of the bathroom situation: There are about 6 individual stalls and they are all gender neutral which means that the men and women in the lounge ended up having to wait in the same long bathroom line while I was there. It would have been nice to have a separate women's and separate men's restroom and maybe just one or two individual stalls that were unisex to accommodate. Other than that, no complaints and I can't wait to return! read more

We were in the delta lounge from 1:15 to 2:45 today and I have never seen a manager treat his employees so poorly. The bar manager in erw was new didn't even know how to make cocktails and was raising his voice to the employee trying to help him learn. Then he raised his voice to another employee. Then an elderly gentleman that worked in the lounge who was picking up plates and trying to make everyone comfortable went behind the bar for some reason and the manager yelled at him and said if I ever see you behind this bar again I will fire you in front of all the patrons. This sky club was top notch! It feels very new and modern. There are a variety of different seating options and charging stations. I was there very early in the AM, so it was super quiet. It isn't the biggest skyclub, so it might get crowded at busier times. I thought the breakfast spread was great! I enjoyed the variety of cream cheese options and the fresh fruit hit the spot. They also had some different pastries than I've seen at other sky clubs. I loved the mini pumpkin scone! The bathrooms were very large, individual, gender neutral stalls. This was my first time at a Delta Sky Club and I used my Platinum to gain access before they take away that benefit. I found out that it doesn't allow for a guest but the first two guests you bring in would be $39, so we bit the bullet and paid the fee. For a 9 am on a Wednesday, it was pretty packed. They had some breakfast items like bagels, toast, turkey sausage, feggs (fake eggs), potatoes, and some fruit. Pretty similar to the continental breakfast you would get at a Hampton Inn. We realized after the fact that I probably should have gone in myself first and scoped out the place to see if it was worth the extra $39. It was not. So if you have free access, of course it's worth going to because any lounge is better than sitting at the gate. But if you have to pay? You're better off just going to a restaurant and you might get a decent meal/drink for less than that. read more

The Delta Sky lounge is located in terminal B. We hung out after checking in. The lounge is so chilled today, not the usual hustle and bustle for most Delta lounges, it's quite pleasant. I like the pop culture art Campbell soup installations. Mushroom, tomato and chicken noddle soups made the cut. The pico de gallo has gone bad, tastes fermented. The turkey sausage is deflated and had the texture of leather or maybe rubber and it's cold too. The folded egg had American cheese on it and is not good either. The food is bad here and abysmal, not much variety either and the quality of food output is rock bottom. The better item is the instant oatmeal with fresh blueberries and the yogurt with the broken up granola and pepino seedor the granola, pepino seeds with oat milk. Looks like the staff is bringing out the lunch items by 10:47am. The turkey sandwich was too much bread and not enough in between. The tomato basil was as to be expected. Didn't like any of the salads, endive with the grapefruit, kale Caesar, kale with cranberries and sweet potatoes. May have been better with the dressing on the side. The only plus is few folks seem to use this lounge, it's less busy than most Delta lounges. read more

Beautiful new Sky Club at the new Terminal A in Newark. Open concept which overlooks the terminal. Service outstanding...everyone is polite, friendly and professional. Excellent variety of very tasty foods including several vegetarian options. Because of the open concept you can hear the din from the terminal below. Not unbearable but the PA announcements get old. The service here is outstanding! We arrived 20 minutes earlier than the 3 hour window, and the agent was able to accommodate us. She was sure to let us know other lounges might make us wait, but they were able to accommodate us here. The food left much to be desired, but I MUST tell you about the amazing service offered by kitchen staff member Nixon. I told him one of the sandwiches looked great, but included an allergen. He was happy to make me a custom sandwich! Small touch that had a big impact on my experience. This was the first lounge where I experienced a server offering to refill my margarita without the necessity of going back to the bar. This was my first time at the EWR airport and while I wasn't impressed with the airport, I was quite impressed by the Delta Sky Club. The Newark Airport is a HUGE United Hub, so there's actually only 8 gates dedicated towards Delta. Despite the low presence of Delta, they still have a Delta Sky Club. I had a 5:50AM flight but I got to the airport a little early, so I was able to stop by for a very quick breakfast as they opened at 5am. I went in and though the club itself isn't big, the amenities were pretty nice! Plenty of seating for 8 gates and they had their usual breakfast servings (egg omelettes, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes). There is also a bar but apparently it does not open until 9am-ish. The windows are connected to the runway so you can see planes take off so that's pretty nice. Overall - I enjoyed this lounge even though it was a short stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and while I don't fly to Jersey often, I hope to be back! read more

Whys the rating is so low? Ample seating, ample power outlets to charge your phone, laptop & other devices. The employees are sweet & professional. Lots of food selection's for your dietary needs (I'm pescatarian and the vegan choices are just fine with me) I actually prefer vegan meals when I'm traveling. My only wish is that there were a few chairs with foot raises like the terminal waiting areas in the airport. Another lounge coming soon so I'm sure they will implement a few more amenities. So far so good. I have no complaints. Maybe my 5 star will help bring the rating up to what they really deserve. read more

My first time visiting the Delta sky club in Newark Airport. The lounge is small, but clean. The food was very average, The best thing was probably the build your own açaí bowl. The bakery goods tasted so pre-packaged. They had Chobani yogurt and plenty of fruit. Definitely better than siting at the gate. Because Newark airport isn't great. Spent almost 9 hours in this Delta SkyClub lounge yesterday in EWR waiting on delayed flights - and although the situation of having your flight delayed sucks, the Delta SkyClub and their AWESOME staff made it much better! Comfortable, varied seating, outlets EVERYWHERE, and best of all the FANTASTIC staff - these hardworking folks kept us up to date on our flight info, stayed open late to let us hang out until our plane arrived, and were constantly checking up on us and keeping the space tidy and good looking. Bathrooms were small but clean, and the food and drink, while not gourmet, was decent, plentiful, and restocked regularly. Also great views of the apron and runways for plane nerds like me. Overall, a GREAT experience that was the highlight of our time at EWR, and helped make a sucky day a lot better. Keep up the good works ladies and gents! read more

Located in Terminal B, my one and only experience here was right at opening (5 AM) before a 6 AM flight. The staff did a nice job of having everything ready and the breakfast spread was sufficient, but certainly not over the top. Unless the front desk tells you the WiFi password (which they didn't for me), it's not well-advertised. See the board in the back or ask someone for it. In fairness, the front desk was just trying to get everyone in line into the lounge, which was about 20 people deep. There's plenty of seating here, but not a ton of charging stations. read more

Fail - Was told I could not enter because my flight's arrival time was over three hours ( 4h16m). I asked for the manager. He explained that in June 2022 a new rule was implemented with little to no local management leeway. From my vantage point, the space was less than 30 percent full. I can appreciate a rational and reasonable managed approach to control costs. However, the entire point to the Delta Sky Lounge, Delta Medallion membership and American Express Platinum membership is to have perks and advantages. This new rule alienates the very people these memberships lure. Suggestion to Delta: The time frame should match the ticket counter minimum time of four hours and or create an exception for Amex Platinum and Silver Medallion/first class ticket holders. Decent lounge. Nice size, not too big, and when I went it wasn't too crowded. The place is clean and I like the variety of seating especially the semi-private solo cubby seats. Place is bright, with a window view of the airplanes. Charging outlets everywhere including the bar (but not the individual tables around the bar. The bar itself seats about 5. I got the goose island IPA on tap, fresh and clean. Pinot noir was average to below average. Food selection ok, they had some stir fry rice, also pasta, and salad, I didn't have any. This is one of the smallest Delta Lounges I've been to, but it has all the amenities I need! There's a full bar with a bartender and normally 3 hot dishes with a variety of healthy sides. There are many options for vegans and vegetarians, but the only meat option they normally have is chicken. The staff is very attentative and keep the dining area clean. read more

The 3 hour policy at this lounge is selectively enforced. The lounge is empty, they allow a passenger on my flight access yet tell me that I can't as I'm outside the 3 hour period. The manager Helen has terrible customer service and is an angry and unwelcoming person. She says her 3 hour policy is "iron clad" while scandalously breaking the policy for select individuals. This is a large Delta Sky Club with all of the normal amenities. The Club offers a nice view of the NYC skyline. The employees were pleasant and helpful even during a crisis where the majority of flights were cancelled due to weather.
