Very large area lounge. Requires membership or pass to enter. The food is just so so. Most of the food have milk so if you're lactose intolerant then forget it.
Hands down one of the best United Club lounges I've ever been in. Big, spacious and modern, we were able to find seating despite the heavy foot traffic this lounge intakes. There are plenty of seating options to choose from including booth tables, larger leather lounge chairs, bar seating, communal tables, sofas, single seats, and dining tables. And most (if not all) are in close proximity to charging ports. The tables and seats are also all in great condition and kept clean with staff constantly making their rounds to collect dirty plates and wipe down surfaces. LOVE the large variety of readily available food options here as well including various pre-made sandwiches, burgers, wraps, hot foods, salads, fruits and snacks. There are also a ton of beverage options as well such as your typical tea and coffee options, juices, and touch-screen soda machines. In addition to the bar if you prefer alcoholic varieties. Staff here were all very friendly, and the bathrooms are sizable (no lines) and kept clean. If you are flying through EWR, highly recommend giving this United Club lounge a try.
United Club just gets it right, you know? Travel can be a pain, but having a beautiful, welcoming, calm space available really helps to take the edge off. You can enjoy a hot or cold meal, grab a drink (they have alcoholic and non-alcoholic, hot and cold, caffeinated or low-octane), or just relax while you wait for your flight. This location has tons of options for seating, including these wonderful booths-for-one if you are looking to decompress or be productive. It is absolutely beautifully kept as well--clean, well-organized, and extremely comfortable. Think Heaven's lobby. The service is also excellent. Everyone here is kind and helpful, connecting you with what you need, whether it's a refill, extra pickles, or some help navigating the airport. I luckily didn't need it this time (knock on wood), but I know that you can get help with all kinds of flight-and-membership-related questions (United comes through when the weather doesn't).
This United Club was located at the Newark International Airport. We arrived shortly before they opened. A line was forming as we waited. They opened promptly at 5 AM. We helped ourselves to yogurt, granola, and a little bit of fruit. It was nice and relaxing in there before our flight.
I've been to this lounge twice with single-use passes, so maybe my expectations were a bit higher than someone with a membership, but both times were pretty underwhelming. The food was a letdown. Some items were borderline inedible, like tough and super dry chicken in a cold pita, a Reuben with big globs of fatty meat, a salad with dressing that was essentially straight olive oil... The free cafe barista service and bar are nice features, but you're only getting lower-end options complimentarily there. The customer service wasn't that great either. After my flight was canceled and rebooked to the next day, they wouldn't reissue or refund my one-time pass, and didn't seem to care much about the situation. That said, the interior is spacious and the bathrooms are clean, which does help make the wait more comfortable. Just not a lounge I'd go out of my way or pay for to visit.
We used this lounge for the first time waiting for a United flight out, and it was a nice experience. The lounge became quite full while we were there and the lines were a bit long for the food and bar. They have a decent buffet of salads, soup, and light entrees. The Chicken Masala was pretty good. They only had one bartender minding the bar, which made for longer than needed waits. Overall, better than the Delta or Club lounges, not as good as Centurion.
Always love to use this lounge in EWR. Spacious seats, nice tables and equipments. Hot food is usually on point (eggs, sandwiches, sausages etc). They also have cold wrap, cereal, fruits, salad. Many options for drinks, tea, coffee or just water. Ice machine on site. Also a full bar if you need anything. The staff come around a lot to pick up plates and clean the tables. Very nice bathroom. Very clean and you feel like in hotel.
Another decent stop at the United Club near C123. I was here for a few hours right around opening and it was totally packed, pretty hard to find seating. Breakfast offerings and quality were a bit disappointing compared to lunch last time I was here, but still some nice options. I did take a shower between my connecting flights and that was a huge perk of this location! The individuals attending to the showers did a great job keeping everything clean and keeping the queue moving.
Glad I got a chance to stop by - Newark is currently a disaster with their runway situation so definitely worth lounging here but expect it to be busy and crowded especially in the late morning/early afternoon. Some charging ports were out of service and some areas could use some cleaning/bussing a little sooner with how many people are here. Great option to avoid the mediocre terminal food and just snack on what you like here! Clean bathrooms and great views.
I paid $59 for a day pass, not worth it. Lounge in Terminal A at EWR is small, food selection is terrible, and everything is run down. Chairs are worn down and lounge is small so it's crowded even at 7am. There is only one elevator to get access to the lounge so we had to wait in a line to even get onto the elevator to get up to the 3rd floor. Eggs were watery and cold. Coffee was not good. I'm an AA card holder but since I am flying United this time, I couldn't access the Admirals Club, but the AA lounge is so much nicer at EWR. The only upside is that being in the UC lounge is still better than sitting on the uncomfortable chairs at the gate, hence the 2 stars.
The new United Club lounge is beautiful and spacious. I think it's the best United Club I've ever been to. Make sure to take a walk around the whole space because there may be areas you didn't expect to see, including empty seating areas and other snacks. The wide variety of food and drink options here has something for everyone, and I had a very filling breakfast here. Even if you can only come for a quick visit, the ample seating and food areas makes visiting a breeze. Definitely give this United Club a visit next time you're in EWR!
Date: Saturday, January 13th, 2024 Time: around 3:45pm Party of: 2 Was flying out of EWR at 6pm and had some time to kill. Since my friend and I were flying business, we were able to check out the lounge. This one is a decent size. Tho we did walk around a bit in order to find two seats as we wanted to sit by the bar. They had a modest amount of food offering - soups, salad, sandwiches, entrees such as chicken, etc. We mainly drank so I can't really comment on the food. The sandwich I tried was fine. I think it was a pesto something? The food area never got too crowded or busy, so it was easy to grab stuff. Same for the bar. I stuck to bubbles / champagne the entire time. Friend tried their beers, a bloody, etc. Fun fact. That paper plane cocktail you see in pix from this lounge on Yelp? It does not exist in 2024! My friend sent me up to the bar numerous times to ask different bartenders and no one knew what I was talking about. So great elusive Paper Plane Cocktail, I never got to try you. Cuz no one knows how to make you! I guess it was only circa 2019? Nice place to kill time if you have free access. They have the automatic gates, so you can just scan your boarding pass and get in. Easy peasy.
Have been to this lounge a couple of times and this most recent visit on 3/24/24 was great. It wasn't crowded at all. We were there for awhile (over 3 hours) since we got to the airport really early and then our flight got delayed. A lot of seating options and a nice variety of food options. I like this lounge a lot better than the new one in Chicago, where it is always crowded and you're constantly excusing yourself for almost bumping into someone. They have the self check-in lanes which I think is more efficient in getting people in and out.
The United Club Lounge at C123 in Terminal C at Newark Airport makes for a comfortable pit stop before a flight. It's a spacious lounge with plenty of seating, shower suites, and a solid selection of food and beverages. That said, I noticed in my visits that a lounge of this size can still feel overwhelmed during peak travel periods. Just outside the lounge, the United Airlines 100th-anniversary exhibit offers a fun trip down memory lane, tracing the evolution of air travel and giving a glimpse into United's history. I enjoyed my visit overall and particularly appreciated having access to the shower suites when I needed one. The only disappointment was that the hot water wasn't working quite as well as it should have. Nonetheless, it was a welcome amenity and a nice way to freshen up before a flight. United Club - C123 (Newark Airport) This is one of the most modern and beautiful United Lounges I've visited. Debuted, May 2022. The largest United Club location for United Airlines. It spans 30,000 Square Feet. Comfortably accommodating over 400 travelers. LOUNGE: Hats off to who designed and built this lounge. It shows how much passion and love they put into this 30,000 SQFT project. The way to get to this lounge is go past C123 gate and up the escalator. Depending on peak hours, by the entrance, you may have to form a line. Once you enter, the first thing you'll see is a large book shelf with table in front of it. Go past those shelves to the left and through the hallway. This is where all your main lounge will be. Your eyes may get wide and you may feel slightly overwhelmed of how much space there is, like I did. They offer so much seating that you're sure to find a spot to unwind, relax or get some work done. Throughout the space, they have large windows to allow natural lighting. Some of the seating faces the windows for you to enjoy watching the planes. The space was exceptionally clean. I didn't see any trash laying around. The staff did a wonderful job coming up to the guests that finished with their dishes and asked, "May I take that from you?" FOOD: I was on a six hour layover here and I was able to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I have to say, for a lounge that can accommodate over 400 travelers, they were on top of it. They kept bring hot breakfast items. They offered variety of options including healthy options. I prefer eating healthy and some of the other locations don't offer good healthy options. Here, you have turkey sausage and links with egg whites. They have a large space for your breakfast sandwiches, wraps and fresh fruit. A yogurt and oatmeal area with all your toppings available. I didn't get a chance to stay too long for lunch, but I was able to see if they serve good lunch and they did. They offered chicken with penne pasta and many other options. For lunch, they also offered healthy options. Hot beverages are available through their Coffee machines or you can ask at the bar for any additional drink options. Good food options here, overall. SHOWER SUITES: This location offers multiple suites for you to take a shower before or after your long flight. I was able to take a nice shower after my long flight to Newark, and it was so refreshing. The suite was clean, offering good amounts of towels. They provide complimentary, Perricone MD Shower Gel, Conditioner and Soap. Overall, this is a great feature to have at this club. Not all United Club locations offer shower rooms. STAFF: After visiting multiple United Club locations, I would have to say the entire staff working here are just absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and kind, regardless if this is your first visit or you're experienced traveler. Any questions you may have about the space, or flight information, they are here to assist you with a genuine smile. If you just need someone to talk to, they're happy to spike up a conversation with you. OVERALL: If you're traveling domestically or internationally with one of the Star Alliance members, this is a great place to unwind, relax while you're waiting for your departure. I've been at this lounge several times and I am looking forward to continue my visits. read more
Reviewing the United club, this is not the Polaris Lounge which is only for Polaris seated ticket holders, this is the normal one in Terminal C, next to Gate 123. Came back again to this lounge, and still left nothing to be desired from me. The food on this sad Saturday evening was a chicken dish, root veggies and either rice or pasta. On top of it all, when I walked to initially sit at a booth table top, it was still dirty and there was no one around to clean it up! While this club "looks nice" I am disappointed by the cleanliness and the food options, leaving nothing to be desired. read more

Best United club so far. I was just at EWR's Polaris lounge two weeks ago on my way to Dubai, this is WAY BETTER. I really loved its deli sandwich section. Also loved the salad and soup bar. All in, a way better version than the Polaris lounge in EWR. I also loved the barista section. I had a matcha latte with oats milk and later an iced cappuccino. I am headed to Brazil in a few weeks. Will skip Polaris (which last time was filled with loud frequent travelers bragging about their trips - so freaking loud - I am a Global and find United business travelers fall into two categories- the subdued ones the obnoxious ones, this Polaris club in EWR attracts the latter) and head over to this brand new United club. read more
Was at the club early in the morning around 6am. The lounge was so tidy and clean. It wasn't very busy, but the service was at full swing. All breakfast sandwiches were served, fruits, yogurts and other cooked items were fully stocked. All soda machines were working well this time. Loved the strawberry pudding. Staff were cleaning tables pro-actively. read more
This is my favorite United Club I've been to yet. Location: Terminal C, Gates 120-139. Adjacent to Gate C 123 & across from Gate C 130, head up the escalators to check in. Entry: Attendants at the desk to check-in or you can use the self check-in scanner which is quicker. The Lounge: This Club is the biggest one I've been to. There's so many places to lounge- couches as you walk in, I've seen people sprawled out asleep on them. Lots of single couches, desks, there's a huge dining area with plenty of table seating. So many rooms! Lots of charging stations between seats as well. Food: There's a hot buffet that has a fair selection of food. There's also a sandwich area with a large selection to choose from. There's a coffee bar if you're wanting a fresh cup and of course a large bar with plenty of alcoholic beverages to choose from (premium drinks are not free fyi). I love that they have water dispensers you can fill up your personal water bottles with. Bathrooms: Plenty of stalls and always kept so clean. There's also a family restroom and they even have showers here. Service: The are always attendants roaming around cleaning up, very attentive. The food is constantly being refilled. The bartenders are brusque but quick. Overall, definitely a great place to relax at before your flight. It does get crowded at peak times but it definitely beats the crowded gates and overpriced terminal restaurants. read more

United Club located near Gate 123 in Terminal C at EWR. Food offering is about the same as the other United Club. It is a lot more spacious with less people in it (probably because it's a bit of a walk from TSA security compared to the other one). Service was great, and staff were helpful. There's an open bar available and also a coffee bar, which I always get a matcha from. The lounge features shower suites for those wanting to freshen up. read more

United Club Newark is located between gates C102-C120. This is an older lounge compared to the other United Club located at EWR. I prefer coming to this lounge because they have showers and they have a barista. There are no reservations needed, simply check with the attendant for availability. read more
Food is ok. LAX has more variety. Service is good. Ambience is ok. Some employees are too loud talking about their personal stuff. They are louder than the members. However, there are plenty of quiet spots outside of the dining area. Especially the little work booths. Bathroom stalls are clean and large. And the staff constantly collects trash from you. read more

The United Club at Terminal C near gate 123 offers a touch of luxury with ample food choices. I loaded up on soft shell tacos with a choice of two meats (chopped carnitas and tinga chicken), black beans, white rice, guacamole, and the usual toppings and sauces. I also saw a sandwich counter, salad bar and desserts on part of the buffet line. The deluxe coffee machine offer a wide variety of cafes, espresso and other hot drinks. The cold beverages were served by juice dispensers throughout the lounge areas as well as fountain machine located in the dining room. The wait staff do a good job of cleaning up tables quickly after guests leave. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. There are shower suites available separate from the bathroom but just beyond that area at the end of the corridor to the left just before you enter the buffet area. I'd happily try out the United Club again, when I get another complimentary one time pass. The annual subscription cost per person is $650 or one-time passes run ~$150 per flight. Too rich for my blood plus I don't fly often enough to warrant the subscription. read more
