Mac and cheese and chicken. That's all they offered for dinner besides the appetizers

Update June/2026. I went back to the c74 lounge for breakfast and the choices were VERY LIMITED. Just some bread, bagels, cereal. No hot buffet, no eggs, no bacon or anything similar. Definitely not worth the $59 fee if you need to pay. This is only worth if you have extra club passes and want to use them before they expire.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lounge (C74) is bright, airy, modern and well staffed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came in early in the morning around 8am on a Sunday and lounge was probably 60% full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Prefer this concept over their older lounge as it is more in line with offerings in Asia.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It will be better if they provide more food options besides the usual eggs and sausages. Illy coffee is always a nice touch and hidden in a corner of the lounge.

You need to be United Gold + international flight (or better) or have a United Club Pass or an Alliance Gold equivalent (so their own gold = no entry normally without the international flight)... I mean... not really giving their own members much of a benefit. Up the escalator, and scan your ticket. Note there's a time limit - you have to be within 3 hours of your flight, I think. Double the trouble to get in, I just ended up grabbing breakfast downstairs.

Food options are limited. Disappointed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables were dirty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was difficult to find a place to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thinking of switching to delta. United club isn't offering much compared to others

I went to the club around 10 am. It was quite busy. But the staff were doing a good job of keeping up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well maintained and clean area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All stations were filled with breakfast items. There were some good options like paddies, sausages, wraps, bread, and kinds of spreads. They were just switching to lunch items close to 11am, so got to try some of those too.

    Entryway looks promising but...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Renovated and still subpar: tried no fewer than five USB outlets before finding one what worked[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Unlike the lounge by C123, this one does not have a live barista for coffee and you're using just machines with no milk alternatives. Bartender here much friendlier than the staff over in Polaris lounge but if in Terminal C, pick the 124 lounge over 74. And not like we get to choose, but both these options are superior to the lounge in A, which barely has a decent food spread no matter what time I've visited.

First time in United Club in Jersey. There were like five in just one terminal. Picked the one across from our gate. No alcohol self service like AA lounges, but the bar was huge and service fast. Food was not bad. Decent sandwiches, soups, hot plates of chicken, chorizo, mashed potatoes and rice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom very clean. No complaints[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Sorry no food picks busy chatting with my colleagues for two hours.

    Beautiful new lounge

The newly renovated Newark Airport United Club at Terminal C near gate 74 scores with the comfortable couches vs. sitting waiting during a wait for plane departure. Did I come for the food? Absolutely not since I just ate my way through NJ food and buffets are not my style since many people were sneezing over the so-called protective glass. The bathrooms were clean, and the best service came from the cleaning staff who were very tuned into the needs of weary travelers. The front desk staff could use a refresh class or maybe a skilled 101 class on how to treat travelers. There definitely is a huge difference between the customer service in other United Club lounge such as Honolulu and even Houston. I was curious about what the wellness area was and when I asked the inside customer service representative, she looked at me like I had just stolen her pet and said curtly that is for breastfeeding moms. Personally, I think that is a great service for new moms but how did she assume I was not one? Anyways, it was nice to have a relaxing place to chill until a few moments before take off.

It's been a few months since I've been to this United Club location and I was pleasantly surprised to find it newly renovated. Although it is not as big and great as the United Club near gates C120-139, it has definitely improved after the renovation. Location: Terminal C near Gate 74. Go up the escalator for the entrance. Self check-in or with the attendants. Food & drinks: There is both hot and cold food available. I came here in the morning and the breakfast options were adequate. I love that they have a water refill station for your personal water bottle. The bar is spacious with plenty of seating but doesn't open until 6am. Seating: Fairly spacious with comfy chairs, adequate charging ports, tables for dining, and also individual booths that are perfect to work at. Overall, a great place to relax before a flight or even stop in to just use the clean bathroom and grab a snack.

    Excellent healthy meal selections.

United Club - C123 (Newark Airport)…read more This is one of the most modern and beautiful United Lounges I've visited. Debuted, May 2022. The largest United Club location for United Airlines. It spans 30,000 Square Feet. Comfortably accommodating over 400 travelers. LOUNGE: Hats off to who designed and built this lounge. It shows how much passion and love they put into this 30,000 SQFT project. The way to get to this lounge is go past C123 gate and up the escalator. Depending on peak hours, by the entrance, you may have to form a line. Once you enter, the first thing you'll see is a large book shelf with table in front of it. Go past those shelves to the left and through the hallway. This is where all your main lounge will be. Your eyes may get wide and you may feel slightly overwhelmed of how much space there is, like I did. They offer so much seating that you're sure to find a spot to unwind, relax or get some work done. Throughout the space, they have large windows to allow natural lighting. Some of the seating faces the windows for you to enjoy watching the planes. The space was exceptionally clean. I didn't see any trash laying around. The staff did a wonderful job coming up to the guests that finished with their dishes and asked, "May I take that from you?" FOOD: I was on a six hour layover here and I was able to enjoy breakfast and lunch. I have to say, for a lounge that can accommodate over 400 travelers, they were on top of it. They kept bring hot breakfast items. They offered variety of options including healthy options. I prefer eating healthy and some of the other locations don't offer good healthy options. Here, you have turkey sausage and links with egg whites. They have a large space for your breakfast sandwiches, wraps and fresh fruit. A yogurt and oatmeal area with all your toppings available. I didn't get a chance to stay too long for lunch, but I was able to see if they serve good lunch and they did. They offered chicken with penne pasta and many other options. For lunch, they also offered healthy options. Hot beverages are available through their Coffee machines or you can ask at the bar for any additional drink options. Good food options here, overall. SHOWER SUITES: This location offers multiple suites for you to take a shower before or after your long flight. I was able to take a nice shower after my long flight to Newark, and it was so refreshing. The suite was clean, offering good amounts of towels. They provide complimentary, Perricone MD Shower Gel, Conditioner and Soap. Overall, this is a great feature to have at this club. Not all United Club locations offer shower rooms. STAFF: After visiting multiple United Club locations, I would have to say the entire staff working here are just absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and kind, regardless if this is your first visit or you're experienced traveler. Any questions you may have about the space, or flight information, they are here to assist you with a genuine smile. If you just need someone to talk to, they're happy to spike up a conversation with you. OVERALL: If you're traveling domestically or internationally with one of the Star Alliance members, this is a great place to unwind, relax while you're waiting for your departure. I've been at this lounge several times and I am looking forward to continue my visits.

Came back again to this lounge, and still left nothing to be desired from me. The food on this sad Saturday evening was a chicken dish, root veggies and either rice or pasta. On top of it all, when I walked to initially sit at a booth table top, it was still dirty and there was no one around to clean it up! While this club "looks nice" I am disappointed by the cleanliness and the food options, leaving nothing to be desired.

An oasis from Newark Airport!…read more I booked a Polaris Class ticket from Newark to London, and as a result was able to access the Polaris Lounge in Newark. Food: Good buffet with quality food and fresh salads Drink: Free drinks but I was in "work mode" the entire time. Opted for water, and the lounge has a nice bottle filling station too. Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathrooms: private bathrooms that are properly maintained and cleaned Showers: I didn't use the showers but the Polaris Lounge offers free showers By the way, I booked lie-flat seats on United going to London and on British Airways returning from London. United Polaris class crushes British Airways business class in comfort, ergonomics, service, and food quality in flight.

However, I did not see anyone at the counter, I went toward the other side as the bartender is having a text-a-thon. I wait, and she finally comes over with an attitude, as if I did something wrong to disturb her. After this, I go to see what I can but the offerings were just so-so. They do replenish the food quite often, though. I attempt to get a second drink about 45 minutes later, she's still texting away and this time another worker had to let her know someone was citing to be served. Ridiculous. This was a joke of an experience and between this and the sub-pa service from United staff-- I may not ever with United, again!
