There are always a lot of pumps available; the gas prices are competitive and you can get a membership card to save money. The car wash line usually moves quickly. You can get the interior cleaned while you sit and have good coffee. They sell lots of food stuff and beer. They also have lottery tickets. They have a drive-through for oil changes and New York state inspections. Do not allow them to change your wiper blades. I had mine changed twice there and they blew off; once in a rain storm. They would not reimburse me for the blades that I bought. Go somewhere like an auto supply store for your wiper blades, and they will put them on for you; correctly. read more

Stopped here for an interior cleaning. You pull up to the garage and they write down what you want and then proceed to the waiting room. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. It is connected to the convenient store. I waited around 30 mins and then they come get you and walk you to your car. My car had multiple spots that were not cleaned so I asked if they could clean it so I waited approx 15 mins for him to clean what he missed from windows to dashboards. My wife convinced me to have Delta Sonic detail one of our vehicles this afternoon, instead of doing it ourselves. She waited in the waiting room while it was worked on, and when she noticed they were closing up for the day, asked where the vehicle was. Detailing work had been completed and the vehicle moved to the parking lot almost an hour earlier, but no one bothered to notify her. No explanation, apology or compensation was offered. OK so typically I don't ever give five stars to anyone but this location is absolutely spectacular. It might be small but they are mighty when it comes to service and a great value.Everyone is always friendly,cheerful, and most importantly helpful. We went through the car wash once and noticed that there were a couple of streaks left on the window. We went back through a second time. It wasn't any fault of the car wash, but actually was our fault. We chose not to have the car dried after it was washed,and open the window. When we close the window streaks appear as it has not been dried first. So we chose to go through a second time. No big deal though- they asked if there was anything else they could do, and gratefulExpressed how grateful they were for our patronage. I got unlimited car washes a month ago because there was a really good deal. If you get your car washed at least 2 times a month, it pays for itself. This was my first time coming to this location for a car wash in awhile. The reason I don't go to the car wash a lot is because I'm slightly afraid to drive my car onto the track. The Webster location has been great and is at a good angle. This one is really short and a sharp angle, and it reminded me why I'm afraid to get car washes, lol. They sort of guide you, but not really enough for me, and I don't really understand how it works, so in any case I'm a chicken about it. If you have any carwashophobia like me, don't get your car washed at this one. :) I also got gas for the first time since I got unlimited. You get a card that is supposed to be for a discount off gas. I followed the instructions on the pump, and no discount came off. If you add your bank account to the card, the discount is more, but I thought there was a discount either way. I went to their website and I still understand it that way. The difference is like $0.50, so it's not the end of the world, but I have no idea what scanning the card did. The gas pumps here are cool though. There's a tv screen that played some news while I pumped by gas, and even the buttons were easier to use than some other worn out pumps around Rochester. *Edited to add, in the response in the comment, I did link my unlimited number, but it hadn't been 24 hours, so that may have been the problem. read more

Good carwash - worth it if you have the monthly pass. Been a member for a couple of years, will continue but wish they had one in Penfield! When it is cold and rainy outside and your car is so dirty this is a blessing! The Benderson family ( owners of Delta Sonic) made there money in the 90's by screwing business customers that rented retail space from them in places like Panorama plaza. Now, they make their money by screwing the general public with their Delta Sonic car wash scams. I was sold 3 Super Kiss Plus car washes last month for $48, I used one. When I went to use one of the 2 remaining PREPAID car washes, I was told that what I paid $48 for had expired. I made this purchase on April 22, 2024, there was NO mention of any time frame to use these prepaid car washes when they were sold to me. I'm quite sure that the $48 plus $3.84 tax that I paid them has not expired- the company is useless, they employ incompetent people, and have a long history of screwing customers- any of their competitors would be a better option for a car wash, gas, or detailing. read more

Delta Sonic a love story? Who knew! I am a regular customer of theirs and frequent this location often... While this location has some faults (lines can be pretty hectic at times), it's nice place to visit. I just wish that they had a *little* more real estate to play with. Driving from the pumps to the car wash and then back to detailing can seem, at times, to be a game of dodge-em or, if you're not lucky, bumper cars. Outside of that, the customer lounge is comfy if you're waiting for advanced services. I treat myself to a Super Kiss Inside-n-out from time to time & have had many opportunities to avail myself of the lounge. Plus, this location has the BEST gas prices outside of Henrietta, according to a friend of mine who runs a livery service. Good enough for me! Horrible customer service! I have been a customer of Delta Sonic's for 15 years. No more! The car wash did over $600.00 in damage to my front fender and bumper to my 6 week old $70,000 vehicle. I am disgusted with Delta Sonic not only for the damage but how rude they where to me about the damage to my car. For $600.00 they lost a customer who spends that much with them a yearly quarter between fuel, detail, and washes. Royal Car Wash has earned my business and do a way better job regardless. Delta Sonic will do anything to not have to pay when a vehicle is damaged. They should be ashamed of themselves. I sent in supporting documentation and pictures and they would not even take the time to review what I sent into them. Apparently there is no one above the district manager to speak to. What a hassle to get my car detailed here. I purchased the Super Kiss for the outside and the 1 hour interior detailing--i spent $130 and some change. It took them 2 hours and 10 minutes! At least two other cars in line behind me in the detailing line were long gone by the time mine was finished. When i asked the manager he told me that because it was busy there was a 40 minute delay---if course no one told ME there was a delay--the manager showed me to work ticket with the 40 minute delay. Of course that was not mentioned to me when they were taking my money nor was it printed on MY claim ticket, just their work ticket. To top it off, i asked very nicely--twice--if they would put my new seat cover on for me. Of course the guy taking the money said if course. Of course that was not done. When I asked the manager, he told me they were not allowed to do that (how convenient). When I asked why, no explanation nor any explanation of why his employees were making false promises to paying customers. Super Kiss my A$%! read more

I have been a Delta Sonic Customer for years. I pay 32.39 a month and don't get the extra's sonic glaze,sonic gloss,sonic glass, and tire dressing. family members and friends pay less and get all those extra's. So I called headquarters and asked for the extra's at the price were paying and after speaking with the manager and telling him we are seniors and have to keep are car in good shape as long as possible. We were told no to the extra's because we use the unlimited service to much and don't qualify for extra's unless we pay an extra 5.00 dollars a month which we can't afford. So we were forced to cancel our unlimited membership. They did not care that the were losing our business after 10 years. read more

I'm not a person to write a bad review for a buisness but in this situation, It's needed. I brought my car here for a detailing and they were not through, they used something on the vinyl that made the material wear and look even worse than before i brought it in. I paid $160 for an express detail and the car came back with vinyl damages and it wasn't even vacuumed between the seats. The management is denying the damages done and are very rude and incompetent. I'm very disappointed with this service, save yourself the headache and never bring your car here for any services. read more

I spent $15 on the "Super Kiss" wash. The lines were horrendous @6 on a Friday night BTW. They dried my car off with wet rags-making a mess. As I drove away (no choice with the amount of traffic) I hoped that what looked like a white gross mess on my windows would dry clear. Nope. All over my dark gray car. I drove 2 miles to get home on roads completely free of any snow. Was further surprised to see the amount of dirty snow STILL in my undercarriage. Ridiculous. The best quick car wash you can get, I wouldn't recommend getting your car dried from them as the towels are more than likely to scratch the paint. But that is a given. The detail shop is very good at cleaning the inside but personally I clean the inside myself because its super easy and way cheaper that way :) -edit- I mean, you can't stop every rouge towel that was supposed to be clean but had one little dirt speck in it and scratches the vehicles. Also, there is no need for a claim because I don't have any receipts saved and it was too long ago to remember the exact date and time. It's no big deal for me but for someone else it probably would be. I just used some anti Swirles and waxed it and it looks better than it was, so I'll live :) read more

I took my 2018 Chevrolet Trax last week to Delta Sonic on Union Road in Cheektowaga for a wash. (unlimited) I immediately went home and continued to dry the my car and found a scratch on the front bumper. I called Delta Sonic and they told me to return to the car wash and talk to the manager, which I did. The manager said this happens and implied it would be corrected. Five days later I received a FORM letter said it wasn't their fault. I called Delta Sonic and made an appointment for today on Sunday/March 14, 2021 at 9:00am to have this reviewed. Mike from Delta Sonic looked at the scratch and gave me many of his reasons why they weren't responsible. He told me that his review wasn't in my favor. I am very disappointed in the service I received today at Delta Sonic. My father speaks nothing but praise of this location but today they are not receiving praise. I had a very small chip/crack in my windshield and needed a quick fix as I am trading in the car. My insurance 100% covers glass, so tell me why Delta Sonic told me the process of calling my insurance would be "too tedious" and it would just be "easier" if I were to "pay cash." Obviously it would be easier to pay cash, but you're in the market to make money so calling an insurance company for approval, which took ME a total of 5 mins to call AFTER paying for this, was "too tedious", and yes, I'm being reimbursed. They are very lucky I just paid cash as I didn't even want to deal with it at that point and just wanted to finish running my errands. They also told me it would be 15-20 mins and it ended up being over an hour. I will not be returning to Delta Sonic after this. I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

The Yelp app could be designed better. Delta Sonics are at least spread throughout Buffalo and Rochester. I'm not sure which one I'm reviewing because the suggestion doesn't specify, so I'll keep it generic. Excellent service and employee attention to detail. Some of the best gas prices around and a discount if you also buy a car wash on the same day you fill up. They do a fantastic job at detailing both the inside and outside of your vehicles and even offer oil changes and possibly inspections as well. They're not the cheapest car wash around, but they are hands down the best. Their car wash won't rip pieces off your vehicle like other ones in the area. They also get your vehicle clean! Definitely the best value for your money. If you get the Super Kiss or higher then you get a free second car wash 5 days later. I think their highest level gives you two guaranteed car washes after the first one (5 days apart for each). The only negative to some of their locations is that it's no secret they have such good car washes and sometimes the line is too long. As in 20-25 minute wait, depending on the location. No thanks. Even if you have a monthly unlimited pass, even those lines can be 15-20 mins long during peak hours in the winter or on a warmer day in winter/early Spring (again at some of the locations). Going right before they close at some locations can also be a little dicey as it seems like they sometimes don't have everything still running. That happened a few times at one location a few years ago, but I would hope that's not a reflection on the business and they were just short staffed that night. First time visiting the Penfield location today and it was "meh" compared to the Henrietta location I normally frequent. It is conveniently located on Penfield Road and was not busy when I stopped by mid-morning (I try to avoid the lunch and after 5 rush that seems to occur when I visit). Getting through the check-in was super easy and I made my way through a narrow aisle along the back of Delta's property to have to make a SHARP left turn into the car wash....Not a fan of navigating in a bigger vehicle. Pre-wash staff was non-responsive when I gave a wave and smile - I get that working at a car wash is not the most thrilling or rewarding job, but a little friendliness makes the slightly awkward experience of going through a carwash more pleasant. The car wash itself was poorly lit in contrast to any other car wash in Rochester I've tried (Buckman's, Royal, and other Delta Sonics). This isn't a big deal in comparison to the horrendous smell that started flowing through my vents - the putrid odor of wet mop water that verged on straight up sewer stench. I had to open my windows for a few miles and felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode of the bad B.O. from the valet! The drying area was awkward to navigate into as well - there were two lanes and the most easily accessible one was closed for some reason. No more smiles from the older man drying off which made for another awkward moment in an already not great experience. The positives? My car is clean and the location is easy to find and worked when I was in a pinch. In future, I will save the wash until I'm near Henrietta's location. read more

The 3 guys who serviced our car om 1/2/16 were really cool - very patient and helpful with my teen who is just learning how to drive and maintain a car :) One of them went the extra 9 yards to go get car wash tix for me and add on to same bill as my oil change.
