I went to Delta Sonic on W Henrietta this Fall to have the car detailed. Then I remembered, the headlights were fogged, (2017 RAV-4) OK the young lady gave me a price for the detailing and the headlight refurbish, She went on to explain they just don't polish the headlight lenses till they are clear. They then ceramic coat the lenses. I told her I had heard of Ceramic coating for Windows also, and she said yes they do that. She went on to explain they can also Ceramic coat the whole car/body/paint/windows. I saw the price and said go for it. Now why am I commenting, because you helped get my neighbor to the hospital at 2AM when she had heart palpations, see I've been looking at 2 neighbors who have car covers for their, windshields as we live in an apartment complex. In past years it takes me 5-15 minutes to clear snow and scrape the ice off the windows. Then the detailing/headlight restore and ceramic coat of the body and windows, that your young lady recommended. This whole winter since the Ceramic coating, the snow and ice falls off. (also the dirt, rain, everything, it' like my car is teflon coated) And last Saturday night, when I saw my neighbor in the hallway at 2AM, with Heart Palpations. I walked her out to my car helped her in the front seat, started the car and I walked around the car and brushed off the ice and snow with my gloved hand, (no snow brush, no scraper). 60 seconds, (not 5-15 minutes !) ! ! On October 13, 2025 - (Columbus Day) - we went on a trip to Hdden Valley Animal Safari. We drove our truck through, and had a wonderful time. All went well, until I seen the outside of our vehicle. It was absolutely filthy. Animal noses drugged across the sides, animal feed spilled along the edges of the windows, truly a mess. I went to the car wash yesterday,(October 14,2025) and unfortunately not all the animal adventure residue had been removed. I went again today, (October 15,2025), and explain to the staff what had happened & where we had been. I normally go to Delta sonic for my drive-through oil change. I was a little disappointed this time. There was no manager that came around this time to inspect everything that was done and make sure all the caps and screws were put back on. Then they started guiding me to drive out of the building without resetting the oil light they also left one of the caps off my tire air valves. I reset my oil myself. Also, some helpful information: if they try to sell you wiper blades and tell you, you should get the next level up because they're good with ice. Don't buy them there. I I bought the wipers that were good for ice and the first time use the rubber started ripping apart. I went right back to Delta sonic and they would not refund them. It was within two weeks of buying them and I had the receipt. They also put a scratch on my dashboard around my computer screen and it left a little white piece hanging when I had my car, detailed detailed and when I called them, they said to me, bring it back in we'll look at it and see if it's our fault. My wife and I used the Detailing service to our regret. Had two cars serviced ahead of ours. When I inquired, was told that they were in line ahead of us which was totally untrue. I asked them to check the time stamp, he, simply said they pulled in ahead of us. Absolutely not true. I have to share this amazing experience from today!!! Went to have my car detailed, didn't expect that the kid doing the work "Cody" who was a young man who worked with impeccable detail on my Lexus RX350 was going to restore my faith in humanity too. He found $180 (all in fresh twenty dollar bills) then placed it on the dashboard in front of my multimedia screen without saying a word to us. We got inside and noticed it. I then asked him where that came from and he said it was under the passenger seat. Two days ago my friend who is in from out of town lost it after we had just gone to the bank the same day. We wrote it off after looking around (apparently not well). We couldn't thank the kid enough for not only doing a stellar job on my car, but for the display of honesty and integrity. Bravo to Cody! Very disappointed. I waited for about 40 mins while my car was vacuumed, shampooed and steam sanitized. I have a baby at home so did not inspect my car prior to leaving. The employee checking me in asked if there were any areas I wanted special attention, I let him know the front passenger seat was in need of some love as I had spilled soup there. This was my first time to a Delta Sonic as I live in a different state. I was shocked that the only wash recommended to me was ...$24! For a car wash??? I did the $19 one instead which included "under spray" and "high pressure sprays." The wash was above average but absolutely not worth $20 including tax. I attached pics of my tires and wheels and wheel wells after the wash which were somehow missed despite all the offered bells and whistles. A staff can make or break any business. The staff at this Delta Sonic location need serious re-training. They're giving this beautiful location a reputation that Delta Sonic will never come back from. Especially the store cashiers - never a smile, always chatting with each other behind the counter....ignoring the customer. When one does ask a question, it's met with an attitude. Never a smile. Never a thank you. It's even worse on the Tim Hortons side. Plan on an attitude and LONG wait if you go through the drive thru. As a monthly car wash member, I like to use the vacuums. THEY RARELY WORK. I called inside 20 minutes ago (as I sit here with six other frustrated customers). One staffer (with a beard) walked over, checked one vacuum and left. Several hoses were on the ground, indicating non operational. He walked over them. Update: It's been over 30 minutes now. Nobody else has come out. This store and Tim Hortons staff at this location are the most miserable group of individuals I've even encountered. The management needs to bring in all new staff. Canceled my monthly membership and I'm headed over to Royal Car Wash. Done with Delta Sonic. I'm done with companies that don't care about their customers. That seems to be a "thing" these days. Went for a fully synthetic oil change. Our 12-year-old car has 270,000+ miles on it. The tech recommended also doing a coolant flush based on the color of the fluids in our car. We agreed, and then afterwards started doubting the decision, wondering was that flush really needed? Let me just say, our car has never gotten better mileage. We are getting 25-30 miles per gallon now, and before the tune-up we got about 21 miles per gallon. It was TOTALLY worth the coolant flush. Thanks for the excellent service read more

The car wash does a decent job but the detail shop isn't the bargain it appears. As car washes go they probably do as good or better than any other car wash. The detail shop seems to be more of an assembly line design to get them through as quickly as possible. I had the hand wax done and when it was finished there were still areas where there was surface dirt that didn't come off in the car wash but wiped off with a rag. I had to walk around the car and point these out. It seems to me if it just wiped off with a rag it should've come off when they went over it with the buffer. Although it's under construction, I think this is the nicest Delta Sonic around because you go into an automated pre-spray tunnel rather than a person doing it ,and because you drive straight into the car wash part. I really like that. I don't like turning into it at an angle and having a person in front of me spraying my car. This one is definitely easiest. I joined the unlimited car wash thing because it seemed like a really good deal. They told me I had to pay for one full month and I could cancel. Well, this is the end of my full month, and it won't let me cancel. So it appears you have to pay for the partial month when you join, a full month, and then another full month before you can cancel, which isn't what was told to me when I bought it. If you get your car washed more than twice a month, it is a good deal, but I don't have time to get my car washed that often. If I can't cancel after this month, I'll be updating this because I'm definitely not keeping it past the summer. read more

I made an appointment and dropped my car off for a "professional detail."  From the moment that I walked in, to the moment I picked my car up, I had nothing but kind, professional, friendly, interactions with every single employee; from the front to the back! When I dropped my car off the manager informed me what would be best, and saved me additional spending.  When I picked up my car it was in showroom condition. NEVER GO HERE!! They STOLE my property from my car. They LIED to me, MULTIPLE TIMES. The CUSTOMER SERVICE is NON EXISTENT. I was told my detail would take 2-3 hours over the phone, when I showed up they said it would actually be 4-6 hours... They said they'd call me when the job was done.. I NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL. When I showed up 6 hours later, the detail shop was closed, and the staff spent 15+ minutes looking around for my car, while no updates were being given to me. So I'm standing there wondering where my car was.. not to mention I was literally moving to another state the next morning... I was promised a refund by one manager, then when I called back to check in on my refund, a different manager said I'd have to call corporate to "ask for a refund". When I called corporate to ask about the refund I'd been promised, SEAN / SHAWN with "CUSTOMER SERVICE" was VERY RUDE. He interrupted me multiple times to just say "there will be no refund" over and over again as I tried to explain to him what had happened. He said there was nothing written in my "OFFICIAL complaint" about a refund being promised to me.. keep in mind, the staff member was the one who wrote the report.. When I asked to speak to SEAN / SHAWNS manager / boss, he LIED to me and said he was the highest ranking manager. He then told me if I didn't like it, SUE them.. I called the "CUSTOMER SERVICE" number back, to see what else "wasn't in the report", and I was connected to a different "customer service associate". I then asked her if SEAN / SHAWN is in fact the highest ranking manager, she said NO. She then patched me to SEAN / SHAWNS boss, and I left a voicemail with my phone number, asking for a call back to resolve this issue. That was over 24 hours ago and still no call... I used to come here every 3 months for my oil change, and every time I needed a car wash. I will NEVER go here again, and I'll be sure to make sure everyone I know doesn't go, and knows what has happened. Oh and SEAN / SHAWN in "CUSTOMER SERVICE" was not only VERY RUDE, and a LIAR, but he was implying that I was lying to him, possibly because my complaint wasn't properly filled out in their "official report".... Ah, Delta Sonic. This is, to my knowledge, their biggest location in the Rochester area, offering the widest range of services, including numerous subcategories of car wash, interior cleaning, oil change, fueling options, and seemingly many more. All the staff I dealt with, ranging from the clerk in the snack shop to the oil change attendants, were very professional and reasonable. I received an oil change for a high mileage vehicle for $55 or so and an interior cleaning for $37, after tax in both cases. In both cases, my experience was quick and pleasant, and the work was done as expected. They also offered a choice between $7 off or a "free car wash," but then when I said I'd take the $7 off, they still gave me the option of a free car wash within 10 days anyway. No complaints about Delta Sonic (it can be a little confusing to find your way around their facility to the service you want, but the staff is very pleasant and willing to explain), and I'd recommend it to anyone! Delta Sonic, like Wegmans, is a huuge chain of car washes. Thankfully NOT in the Billy Fucillo sense of "huuuu-jah." We patronize several different Deltas in the vicinity of Monroe County. Henrietta's is one of the oldest. They've made improvements over the years here, expanding onto the old Starlite Drive-In/BJ's Warehouse property with expanded automotive services. My kids come up here exclusively for their old changes and NYS inspections. Why? because the service is good and the wait is almost minimal. One caveat... on sunny days the line for the carwash extends out to West Henrietta Road, not one of the most driver friendly roads in Rochester. If you want to avoid getting snarled during peak traffic times, you can snake around the back of the property and exit out onto Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road. read more

Didn't expect anything amazing due to it being their cheapest option, but the teenagers cleaning the car didn't even wipe the dust off of the dashboard or anything, it doesn't even look like they vacuumed. As far as car washes go, Delta Sonic sets the standard. I regularly get both my and my wife's car cleaned here using their "Super Kiss". The quality is outstanding. I also utilize their "10 minute" interior service to get the cabin cleaned and deodorized. They always do a great job. This review would be five star, except that the waiting times are almost always outrageous. That is not for lack of trying, but they simply do not have enough capacity to put that many cars through the washing lane. Waiting times for interior services and oil changes are very good.
