We just moved into a place with a sliding patio door. When opening the door, it lightly bumped against the frame and the glass shattered. First off a lesson was learned. I had Security Screens installed in April. At that time the slider was sliding okay, not great but okay. When Mark came over from EZ Sliding he felt the door could be removed without a problem involving the screen tracks. Turns out it couldn't be after he spent time and effort trying. I had to have Guardian come and remove screens and tracks to gain access to the door. Of course there was a cost involved. Once the tracks were out Mark returned and removed the door easily and replaced the rollers. He also cleaned and lubricated the tracks. The door operates like new with one finger. The lesson learned is if you intend on having any screens or outside treatments to your sliders have EZ Sliding Doors service them first beforehand. read more

We recently purchased and moved into a new home. So with that comes a lot of repairs. I set up so many projects through Yelp that it had all become a huge blur. I set aside certain days for vendors to come out to give us estimates and I had people coming and going all morning. I contacted EZ through Yelp and it was easy to set up an appointment online (I didn't contact anyone back that asked me to pick up the phone to call them - call me being lazy but I don't have the mental energy to be doing that for every single company I came across). On the day of the appointment, Rian texted me to let me know he's on the way. We originally was thinking of replacing the patio sliding door since it looked like it was repaired a couple of times before and it was a real hassle to open and close. We have a dog so we are using it quite a bit everyday. Rian was super helpful and detail orientated like my boyfriend and he also believed in repairing things before having to replace. So he said that he could repair it. He actually got his tools and took down the glass door to examine it further to make sure he could deliver on his promise. Well the next appointment came in and it was another sliding door company. So that really put things into gear for everyone. My sliding door is over 30 years old, and I don't think the rollers have ever been replaced. Since we moved in 3 years ago it's always been a tricky door. I called and booked a service for EZ Sliding Doors to come out and fix my old slider that seemed hard to open and sometimes it would even lock you out when you closed it behind you. So, everyone in the house was tired of the struggle to go out to the backyard. I finally got around to calling someone because one day the ad was staring me right in the face on Instagram. They seemed to describe my door and how they could fix it in the ad so I took a chance. When I called and booked the service they said they had an opening two weeks from the day I called but they were able to change it when I told them I had the Friday off the week I called so that was an example of being responsive and great service on the phone. They booked me for a window between 10am and 12am which was great be cause I didn't really have another appointment till 2 that day. On the day of the appointment I finally got a text from Zach around 11 am who said he would be right over. After about an hour I texted back to ask if he was still on his way and I got a call from another tech who ends up showing up after 12:30 looks at the door and explained everything he would need to do to fix the latch and the rolling problem. Good thing my wife showed up so that I could then leave and get to my other appointment at 2pm and when I got back close to 4pm the tech had completed the work. The door works like new and the family and I are real happy with the work. It is a little pricey but the labor for the work seemed intense so at some point there were two techs there working on it. I would recommend this company if you need work on your slider, it didn't seem like they were about selling you a new slider and the work they did seems solid with a parts and labor warranty. Just make sure you call them if it takes more then 30 min from the time they say they will be there otherwise you may be waiting all day‍ read more

The first time I used this company was last year when one of my sliding door panels shattered and needed to replace it. I got an estimate from at least 5 different companies in the valley and EZ Sliding Doors was the best price. They had to order a new panel because my sliding door was a custom size and it was estimated to take up to 2 weeks to receive, but they got it in and installed it in a week! I used this company again today because my sliding door lock broke and I was unable to even open the door. I called a locksmith who quoted me $900 to "open and replace it" though he didn't specify what he was going to replace. And he attempted to open the door for about an hour, but never got it open and ruined the sliding door handle. So I called EZ Sliding Doors and James made sure I was given an accurate estimate which turned out to be WAY LESS than what the locksmith quoted me at. Zach literally got the door open in less than 5 minutes and replaced the lock. He was so fast and made it look so easy!
