But the one thing that really was concerning was a nest left my birds due to having babies. They were long gone but I didn't want to have to clean everything down there. Im in my late 30's man. I got bids from several cleaning companies on Yelp to do my carpets for a move out. Fast cleaning offered to give me a discount on a move out cleaning if I booked with the carpets, and another discount if the apartment was going to be empty--they specifically said "no furniture inside". I said my apartment would be completely empty with no belongings inside and we settled on the discounted price. They arrived a bit later than the promised time (9am) by about 45-50 minutes. The owner had told me they would be arriving 30 mins late due to a personal issue, which I said ok that's fine I'll meet you at 9:30, so I went there expecting to meet them at 9:30 instead of 9, and they were not there. The owner did not communicate with me at all regarding the further lateness or when they would be there. They showed up just before 10. The cleaners were very friendly and professional. Halfway through the clean I received two pictures from the owner of the inside of my fridge and the stovetop. I will attach those to this review. He told me how dirty they were and said I should have mentioned how filthy my apartment was before I let him give me a discount. So he was telling me that he was surprised by how dirty it was and then suggested that I should not get the discount we agreed upon. I brought up to him that he offered me a discount because I had bundled carpet+move out cleaning and because there was no furniture in the apartment. He hadn't asked me for any pictures to gauge the level of cleanliness in the apartment. He hadn't asked me any specifics about the state of the place. I didn't even know that this was a factor that was important to a cleaner, unless there was something like blood, puke, or a huge carpet stain. I basically told him I hired you guys to clean and now you're mad that the apartment wasn't pristine upon arrival? So it wasn't Spic and span but why would I hire somebody to clean my apartment if it was already clean? If I hire somebody to clean for several hundred dollars, I'm sorry, but I was surprised by his reaction to two things in my home being dirty. He was sort of implying that they would want to charge me more for the extra time spent and I was like I don't really think that's fair considering that was not part of the deal and the rest of the apartment had already been pre cleaned (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning) When they were done everything looked pretty good except that they had not cleaned under the removable element of the stovetop. I had also let the owner know before booking that I would need an official invoice to prove to my landlord that I had gotten a cleaning done. He promised he would send one but did not for several days. I kept asking him to and he kept saying "I'll send it right now" and then did not send it. He did finally send it after several days of asking. I really waffled between 3 and 4 stars because the cleaning was perfectly adequate.

Had three other quotes for $150-200. She called me and said it was really bad and would be $550. She finished the job in about 3 hours. Pretty good hourly pay! These are pictures of a swiffer mop in just the kitchen area. Also a pic of the vacuum of just one of two bedrooms. AFTER I paid her way too much to do the cleaning. I messaged her to ask if she could go back the next day to clean out the cupboards she missed and to vacuum and mop. She never responded. She was nice but I don't know if she could be considered a professional. Edited: 1 star. She is unkind and name-calling. I don't live in NY. My tenants moved in the day after she cleaned and sent me the photos. It is true that my place was left in disrepair but she did not deliver a clean home nor did she stand by her work or even message me back when I messaged her about the issues the very next day. In fact, until now, I haven't received a response from her (except her reply in which she attacks me).
