Jana and her crew did an excellent move-out cleaning job. They figured out how to clean my bamboo flooring without using a wet mop, which would have ruined the bamboo. They gently dusted my custom blinds which consist of pleated material and rendered my oven almost as clean as it was on the day I bought the stove. The oven door glass was sparkling! Jana and her son came to my house at the exact time they said they would come, and they did a good job.

I hired Jana to clean every surface and drawer in my kitchen, dining and living room after new countertops were installed. We have a newborn and I was explicit about what was needed both in the request (see screenshot) and in person when they arrived. They did a half-ass job and left several areas uncleared, including leaving dust on the countertops, drawers, baseboards, and blinds. I had to make her come back and do more but then she and her helper refused to finish. She threw a fit, demanding payment, it was childish and very unprofessional. At one point her helper said "what do you want a deep clean? This is what you get for $200" Yes, that's what I requested and was quoted. It was your choice to ask for $200 and not the $250 originally quoted. I pointed out several areas that were not done after the 2nd pass and they flat out refused to finish. I've worked with dozens of people doing work on places I've lived and I've never had anyone demand payment and refuse to finish a job. I give this business 4 thumbs down. read more

I found Jana on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! Her very first visit was an enormous challenge. I had a bathroom that had a toilet that had overflowed many times and let's just say it was gross. I felt bad asking her to clean the floor but my back couldn't take it. The mess had also drawn little fruit flies that stuck on the ceiling. Jana not only got on a ladder and scrubbed them off, she did it with humor and a smile. Her son was an expert in getting my kitchen spotless while Jana got the rest of a very challenging clean spotless. I requested for my apartment to be cleaned. This was more of a wipe down/dusting service. The floors weren't mopped just swift with a microfiber towel. Pillows were left all on one couch in the living room. Also I believe my spray bottle with cleaning solution in the kitchen was taken. Not what I expected. read more

When I put out a request for house cleaning the response was overwhelming. Jana however baited me with the lowest initial bid and the recent reviews were good. I was told two cleaners would arrive the following morning (quickest availability) at 8am and they arrived more than 20 minutes late. It took them almost three hours to clean a 980sf furnished two bedroom one bath house rental. Generally the two men did a good job. They missed cleaning/detailing the area around my stove but the house smelled and looked good when done. The price I was initially quoted was $180. Then Jana wanted to charge me $260 but we settled on $230 which was fair. It took plenty of back and forth to determine the cost so my advice is to confirm the cost before committing the service. read more

As other reviews mentioned, she can suddenly cancel on you after you've planned for her to arrive. I used her once when she was just starting out. But I think that now, especially with gas prices going up, it has to be really worth the drive and gas to come to certain parts of the Bay Area (which I understanding). So she may cancel. I hate leaving bad reviews, and mine just comes as a warning that if your really counting on a cleaning to happen on a certain date, then not the right person. Pre COVID I got monthly service however they moved and I was looking for someone new. I wanted a "deep cleaning" even though the house was cleanish because I wanted it spotless and deeply clean. After looking around the one bedroom I was told $250- more than I've Ever paid even after taking cleaning breaks. I figured it would be spotless, the reviews were great, and they'd already driven out. I know to look and check before paying at the end but forgot today and within minutes realized many areas were missed. I messaged about this and have not gotten a response. These were the things I specifically wanted cleaned. Floors, window seals, cabinets. Many areas look like this. Another issue- we cleaned the sheets because they always make the bed, the bed wasn't made. There were three here for a little over two hours. I was told it would take 2-3 hours. I asked for an estimate the beginning of July 1st. I was able to book it for July 5th. Jana was a bit hard to get ahold of and she kept asking me to add her phone (not too sure what she meant even when I asked her what she meant) but that was the end of it. I texted her my address July 2nd in the evening and confirmed the 5th. On July 4th (mind you that's the day before) at around 7pm she messaged me (not text me although I sent her the info) that she cannot make it due to a family emergency. I can completely understand that however I saw reviews that she does this quiet often. She asked if she can come another day in the week however I set this up as I will be home and during the week I am not home. At this point I just say let's hold off for now and try another time later. She says okay. It's the last weekend of July and still no response for reschedule. Ethics and honesty is not their middle name. They committed to come noon pm. The morning of the project's day they sent a terse text to cancel. I wrote back that this was not ethical . So they imposed an 8:30 am arrival . I explained that I work from home and can't deal with the cleaning noises . They agreed to come 1 pm after I'm done working for the day. But at 11:45 am they texted that they will come 5 pm. Way too late for me. By now they have my full name, my full address, detailed photos of my living room and dining room (the cleaning project) and can sell it or pass it on. I wonder if this whole backing and filling was aimed at extracting my details rather than genuinely performing the work they sounded to excited to do .
