I went to this nail salon a few years ago and needed a pedicure. The description for the $40 pedicure said that it would be 40 mins long so that was the one I booked. I don't think I was in the chair for more than 25 mins and she was finishing up the polish. No hot cloths, no message and there is still some dry cuticle around the toes. I was never so disappointed in a pedicure. She made me feel as if she was in a big hurry to get to the next customer. I will never go back. read more

honestly I started out liking this place because they always were open but now after a long while I'm completely done dirty they cut your cuticle every single time without fail they don't know how to do designs or a french tip. the acrylic is a centimeter THICK. they fall off literally why can I take my nail off with a floss stick after literally less than a week.... and they have nerve to charge you regular price. im just so over it. if you are in a rush just buy a box of press ons at CVS instead. also the vibe is awful its clear that they r laughing and talking abt their customers the entire time. read more

My friend recommended me to come here for dip. And let me just say!! I was going to give up on dip. Cut my nails short and go back to gel. But this place have changed my mind!! I didnt catch the ladys name but she sits in the middle table in the back. I went on a Saturday and the place was veryyy busy. I booked an appointment and still ended up waiting a bit. I subtracted one star solely because they need to manage their time better and not make people wait. They were short staff because one girl had to go home. Which was understanding but dont make people wait. Give them exact time and see if they want to stay. Dont make them soak their feet for an hour. Thats not cool. But anyways. The girl that did my nails. I had a couple tips just so all my nails and be shaped nicely. Although it was so busy. She took the time and did not rush through my nails. I was extremely happy about that. She did an amazing job filing and buffing and making sure my nails didnt look think. I love it sooo much and i will be going back to her and only her. I called ahead to book a facial and a mani-pedi, and they seemed to not have availability for a facial but didn't offer another day, so I'm not sure if they offer this service anymore (it still says they do on their website). It's a little tricky to find parking-- I ended up parking on a side residential street which made me nervous-- because there's no parking lot (although there are 2 parking lots for Brick & Beam customers, but I didn't feel like violating the signs. This seems like a great place for walk-ins after you've had brunch at Brick & Beam-- because then you can park in the B&B lot with no concerns-- as they're less of an appointment place it seems than a first-come-first-served nail salon. They have a vast array of OPI colors. I picked an Infinite Shine one that's supposed to last a week but we'll see how long it lasts (typical manis only last a few days for me with normal use and extended polish lasts about a week). Once I was seated at a chair, they left me for a little too long for my feet to soak. I think they had too many customers and not enough technicians. They could have been doing my nails during this time or even starting on my pedicure, based on my past experiences elsewhere. They have free WiFi, which is helpful because I couldn't connect well to the Internet without. The password is posted on the wall for easy use. My technician was super nice and friendly, which I appreciate from any salon or spa that's supposed to have a relaxing or semi-relaxing environment. She told me how long to sit under the heat lamps, which was helpful-- most places leave you there indefinitely and don't tell you a time-- but on the flip side the 10 minutes I sat there was sadly not long enough as I hit my rear view mirror with my nail after I left and ruined the nail :( My mani + deluxe pedicure was $75- a little pricey, but the deluxe pedi I got was $15 extra. I would definitely return but I might try to find somewhere that can do a mani pedi for under $60. read more

Good nail salon I've come here for a couple of years and usually enjoy how my nails and toes look after. However, they recently increased prices and I just can't justify a mani pedi there anymore. I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure... it was $75! That's before tip! I can go to a place closer to my house for a $60 pedi and gel mani they do just as good of a job and are faster. Great nails but their customer service is terrible. Instead of paying attention to your nails they will rush through constantly making mistakes instead of taking their time to achieve better results. I urge you to communicate to your stylist that they need to pay attention to their work from the time you sit down. Also some times I will find the products are not the best. Hanna did my nails. I wanted a acrylic overlay on my natural nails but she told me the dip powder was better and last longer with least damage. So I went with that. Number 092 in the powders. She took her time, properly removed the acrylic I had before. It wasn't too pricey considering she removed my acrylics and then cleaned my nails and applied the dip which took 45 mins. Came here for the first time a few days ago bc me and my friend were in desperate need. We wanted to try out a new salon and seen reviews here were pretty good. We had appointments @2pm, we got there and we didn't have to wait additional time. I got a pedicure while my friend started her nails. My nail tech, Jessica, was kind. I have sensitive skin so she did cut me once, but she apologized. Other salons wouldn't even bother. I went home and disinfected it myself though. My toes are also super shiny and I love them. I got a dip mani with tips. I'm picky with my nails, I usually do them myself. She adjusted a lot for me which I really appreciated, I hate being annoying, but she didn't make me feel like she was losing patience. She burned me a tiny bit while filing, but its normal and something she learned about my skin again. She was very careful throughout the rest of the process. I want to come back bc despite the little cut and burns my experience was not bad. Cuts and burns happen, I'm not so critical on that. No one can feel what you feel, just let them know and see how they take care of the situation. She took her time and my nails came out perfectly. All the techs here are so nice. I look forward to my next visit. Tip: - They sometimes dip their tips in a liquid which I believe is monomer (for acrylic powder). They say it's to have long lasting tips, but it does create a burning sensation on some customers skin, including mine, so just be aware of that. - Very small area, it's super tight at the manicure tables. read more

My favorite go-to place for nails in Quincy. Everything is clean, work is of high quality, and everyone is sweet and kind. I always get dip powder here because they do a real good job at making the nails look natural. The nails typically last me over two weeks with rare occasions of it chipping, but the chipping is my mostly my fault from work. They have a wide selection of colors in terms of regular polish, gel, and dip powder. I've shown them some designs before and they try their best to be able to give me what I want. I would say prices are fair because you get what you pay for. However, keep in mind although they take their time and are precise about what they do, it can take about 2 hours (give or take) so put aside time to make sure you both have enough time for a manicure/pedicure. I usually do a walk-in and they can easily accommodate me within 10-15 minutes of waiting. Parking is street parking but never too difficult to look for one nearby. Highly recommend read more

This place is amazing. By far does the best Dip Powder nails in town. Every time I go they are set up and waiting for me. It's such a nice place that doesn't have that hurry up and wait vibe. Well I will. The first time I came here, my nail art was RUSHED. It looked nothing like the picture and the other workers knew that. They complimented my nails to make it seem as if she did it correctly when really it wasn't done well at all and they knew that themselves. I was charged $55. It was also done on my natural nails which is too high but I just paid and left. The second time I came here was for a French manicure, because you CAN NOT go wrong with one. I had told the lady what I wanted done and had to wait 20 minutes for her to tell me that I can't be serviced until 45 more minutes. Which made me upset because why would you not let me know that once I came in? Instead, you let me waste my time, waited, just to tell me to come back again. I left because that was very inconsiderate. The third time I came here, which was the last straw. I was in a rush to get my nails done. I had called before hand because of what happened the second time I came and I wanted French tips that are deep. The man with the glasses said that they can not do that. Which is hilarious because how are you a DELUXE nail spa with nail artists that lacks skills to the point that they can not do deep French tips? lol. Thought I'd give this place a try and wow i got the worst pedicure of my life. First, they are the most expensive place I've come to ($35 for a regular pedicure). The girl did my profile in about 10 min flat. Didn't get rid of the dead skin on my feet, barely cut my nails, rush rush RUSH. She said "we don't do skin here". Whaaat. Went unexpectedly & was taken care of right away for a deluxe pedicure. The water was too hot that you soak your feet in. The nail treatment was fine up until she put the paraffin bags on my feet & steaming hot towels around my legs. She burnt the soles of both feet and calves. The manicurist couldn't be bothered to set me up at the foot drier and didn't check to see if the nail polish was even dry. Very impressed! I just started doing dip powder nails and was looking for a salon that does a good job on making the dip nails look natural.
