I decided to try this place after hitting the gym. I told myself "Hey! You worked out for the first time in years, and its time for a treat (in the form of a delicious smoothie)" So I speed over to this smoothie shop. The people working there are above average friendly. Very nice people. I already like this place before I get my smoothie. Do they get annoyed at my indecisiveness? Nooo, they are very helpful and offer suggestions. They even suggested flavored tapioca and were excited to see how I liked it. This place has good energy, and great smoothies. The sandwiches here are pretty good. Sometimes they have specialty of the day, those are usually good. Since I have been drinking so many bubble teas in Houston area, the bubble teas here are not that great compared to the ones in Houston. The price is Ok, not really cheap. read more

They make the best smoothies I have ever had. And I do like the bemi sandwiches. I have occasionally also had the spring rolls which are very good. But by and large I go at least two to three times a week and have one of their smoothies to take with me when I work out. read more

They have great drinks although their Tapioca is very chewy. I like the kind that bursts in my mouth, but they don't have that kind.

I was through Huntsville to go to Dallas and decided to stop here at Deluxe Tapioca and I must say this was one of the best kept secrets. It was very very nice and clean. I just moved around the Huntsville area and here is the closest spot for me to get bubble teas, and so far SO GOOD! I tried their Thai tea and Wintermelon milk tea and they are both very good. I had high hopes for this cute little place, but I was unfortunately disappointed. I've frequented bubble/boba tea houses in the Houston and surrounding areas for over 10 years now. One simple staple I always try when going to a new place is a Strawberry Green Tea with Tapioca. In the case of Deluxe Tapioca, the strawberry flavor was good, and the tapioca was cooked basically perfectly. My HUGE hangup about it was the $6.25 price tag for the drink. I'm not sure if I was mischarged, or if that's simple the price the shop deems fit for the drink, but nearly every bubble/boba tea shop I've ever been to has always had the drink priced somewhere between $3.00 to $4.50 ($4.50 being inside the Galleria mall in downtown Houston, so $$$ is expected). The other big let down for me was the very small menu for flavored tea. I was there today (10/10/16) and only 4 flavors are currently available: Strawberry, Mango, Blueberry, and Passion Fruit. I don't want to harp too much on the limited menu given the shop just opened up, though. Personally, Lychee, Kiwi, and Honeydew are at the top of my personal list of flavors. The shop did boast a few additional flavors for their smoothies, but I'm just not a big smoothie fan. Last points (and small ones) are: A - the lack of the familiar sealing machine to seal with drinks with so that the drinks can be shaken inside of the cup. It's not a deal breaker, though, because I understand not every shop wants to drop the extra money for a sealing machine; and B - the shop is currently Cash Only. I was told they can do credit cards, but you have to go next door to the nail shop to run the card. To end on a positive note, the shop was very cute inside. It had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the gentleman in charge at the time I was there (I assume the owner) was very friendly and helpful. read more
