Third stop on my VP birthday bar crawl. I have no idea what this bar is called. Demito's? Double D's? Whatever the name, good times will be had here. It was much bigger than I expected. There's a bar off to the left upon walking in, a floor/stage area to the right where a band was playing that night, two pool tables toward the back, a couch area next to it, and a patio in the back. Definitely a roadhouse feel. I was so excited to drink a beer that wasn't from 1970. They actually had some crafts! I had a Hoegarden and a Church Street beer (forgot which one but doesn't matter. Their beers are great!). A few of my friends went off to dance and watch the band while the rest of us hung out and played pool while rockin' out to the tunes. Interesting crowd. It's a good mix of regulars and young adults. In true Villa Park fashion, I saw an almost fight, along with the guy's girlfriend jumping in to try to defend him, unsuccessfully since she was drunk. Always fun to see. The bartender was great. He made us really good lemon drop shots, complete with sugar and a lemon. You don't always get that when you ask for this shot, so kudos to him. After going to a few more bars, we ended our night at Double D's and hung out on the patio until closing time. It was a beautiful night to be outside. Yeah, there's not much of a view and it's enclosed but it's a good size and a nice way to chill away from the bar. This is one of my favorite bars to go to. It's a bar that caters to lots of different groups of people. The food is amazing (try the Italian beef wrap, chicken tenders or pizza). Everything I've ordered has been good. The bartenders are awesome too. Megan, Sarah, Julie, Rosalia will make sure you are taken care of. Really fun and lively crowd! On a Friday evening customer base was a mix of generations with plenty of outside tables and great service. As evening went on, age group started to become a little younger but really a fun vibe and everyone just enjoying the nice weather. Really concerned about meeting some friends at this place after reading reviews. . . Reviews could not have been more wrong! Stopped in during Bears game . . not really many people, maybe 15 people in bar. . .band was setting up. Band started playing and the place filled up with a ton of 20-40 year old peeps having a great time!Band was Wasted Space - Classic and Modern Rock. Would recommend finding them and seeing!! Hot female lead singer!! Had some food and great drinks. . only down side is no tabs and cash only. . .did have a cash machine, but kinda embarrassing to hit the cash machine to buy a round of drinks. . . This is a really fun place, but the last time I went the bartender was incredibly rude. I have no other problems with demitos, except for the bartender who works on Tuesday nights. We are a group of college kids who work in the industry and we were treated extremely unprofessionally. Since I was 23 years old, my friends and I have been coming to this bar (10 years +). Whether it be a Sunday Funday, Friday night debauchery, or a Tuesday night watching the game, it's always a fun time with limited judgements from staff and patrons alike. This place is wild and can get very rowdy. It's' a big dive bar. Bartenders are nice. Probably 8 or so beers on draft with a decent selection (at least better than most bars). Place can also be very loud because of the music. They have a nice outdoor patio with lawn games (bags, jenga). Good drink specials. I enjoy the atmosphere here the most. First off 5! Stars to my bartender sarah! What a gem... i thought forsure i wasnt gonna get my food right since she was so busy but to my surprise everything was perfect. Sarah had amazing suggestions for beers food and music. The patio is huge and enough bags around for everyone. Sarah even had enough time to come out and take our orders outside. Dont know that this bar could survive without sarah. She is awesome. The pool tables are adequately spaced and sarah gave us change for our dollar bills in no time at all. But enough about sarah the bar experience was amazing,food and drink specials out of this world but sarah did a fantastic job. I've been coming to Demito's on off now for several years and I can say I've never been disappointed. I feel welcomed as soon as I come through the door with a big genuine smile from the attending bar staff. No matter what season I happen to stroll in, there is always lively energy abound; wonderful patio, long deep bar, pool tables, gaming and a great crowd mix from affluent lawyers to Chuck and a Truck. I tend to gravitate to the bar area where I'm guaranteed a Cubs/Sox debate and a great pour on my drinks, the times I've ordered food it's been consistent and tasty and what a consumer value. As I'm writing this I'm wondering to myself why I don't make it out here more often; it sure beats the smuggy pretentious bar/restaurants in my neck of the woods. read more

My favorite getaway. The owner is extremely friendly and has been cleaning up the place over the last few years and has been doing a great job with it. They have a great place to throw a party with free appetizers for your guests. I love the Turkey melt as a wrap and the chicken enchilladas. The food is very good now that her daughters are in the kitchen. Only downside is you have to pay cash, so bring money with you and make sure you have enough to pay the hardworking bartenders and waitresses! read more

My home away from home. This place is full of fun and family oriented too! With being right off the prairie path this draws a family crowd on Saturdays and Sunday mixed with your local crowd enjoying the awesome beer patio (probably the best in the western suburbs)....staff were so I start they are all amazing and care about their patrons. Every time I go to demitos I feel at home, maybe because I live next door, but mostly because the staff is so kind. Which brings me to my next point, great pool tables. Great go to spot in a town with limited options. Great beer selection and reliable food. The wings are a+ love that they aren't battered. The Italian beef wrap is a great recent addition to the menu and 3 dollar drafts on Tuesday combined with their craft selection make the bar affordable. Meagan and Sara are both very friendly bartenders (nothing is worse than the bar tender who sits at the end of the bar texting while you have an empty drink). My husband had my 50th birthday party for me last Saturday night. It couldn't have been more perfect. Sara and Megan, and all the bartenders, took care of us 100%. Just discovered this bar, and I have to say what a great find! They have an awesome outdoor patio. They have bags tournaments on Thursdays and an outside bar with a great ambience inside the bar too! Had a few appetizers. The wings were especially good along w the great service from Sarah! Have to say I will be back for sure. I'm told they have bands on the weekend so I'll have to check out! I really like DeMito time. It's a regular hangout for my friends and I. DeMito is very spacious, and you can always find a spot to sit. It's great in the warmer months to go out on the patio. They have bags, firepit, and lots of tables.The food is also good, you get a large amount of food for a reasonable price. I recommend their "Fat Boy" Burger with Homemade Chips. On the weekends they sometimes have bands playing, and usually they are pretty good. The only downside I'd say is they change their drink specials around frequently, but usually the replacement specials are still good. They used to have $3.00 Personal Pitchers every Tuesday and Thursday. I wish they bring those back! Over all, it's a good, inexpensive place to go if you're in the neighborhood. read more

This afternoon was in Villa Park , so stopped by a bar & grill, called Demito Time. Its a well known bar in the old downtown Villa Park area. The bar was actually very busy for lunch. The bartender named Debbie was very nice and quickly served me my beer, shot of Jamenson and shot of Tobassco Sauce. I sat with her and her two friends Jackie and Dawn who were having lunch. They were very welcoming nice ladies so we did a shot together. I decided I would try out the food and ordered Blackened Chicken breast and a Salad. The food was very good and very inexpensive. The bar has drink specials throughout the week. On todays date the domestic bottles were $2.00. As for entertainment in the past bands such as Just-n-Trouble and Everett Dean played there. In the warmer months the beer garden is open. They have large screen TVs, a digital juke box, two pool tables and a punching machine. I would describe the crowd at night as just fun people. The bar is friendly to the motorcycle rider community too. The bar is clean and has both bar seating and tables. I have to admit based on my bar/restaurant experience the owner Debbie Demito runs a very nice establishment. If in the area at lunch I say try it. For night life action it is a fun time. I would say it is in fact the best bar in Villa Park. I recommend it and thank Debbie, Jackie and Dawn for the enjoyable lunch. (: read more
