While I'm not sure what caused the Ranch to turn, the food to take so long and be delivered piece-meal (when it was NOT crowded AT ALL), and the confusion around the meat loaf (which was one of their "most ordered" items, so we were told when asking about some favorite dishes), I can say that our waitress was very friendly the entire time and apologized for the mess up. There was nothing particularly wrong with my experience - service was great, ambience was relaxing, parking was plentiful and the restroom was clean. But I think I expected a bit more from my smashburger, which was just kind of "meh" for the money. Don't get me wrong, here: I'm grateful the downtown Lombard restaurant scene is flourishing. I just wish it was with more of a flourish!
