The common point from what I could tell were that budget, work effort, and communication fell a little short. Karin worked with me on the front end, and Haim executed in an amazing way. That was my experience in the last few months. From a satisfaction point regarding this kitchen renovation it simply could not have gone any better. I will say that the details on the front end matter. We went over several iterations in the beginning. I had narrowed down to two really great contractor options. Ultimately, I went with 702R&R due to their ability to paint with lacquer and extreme attention to detail. I just felt they would do an amazing job. We worked together to build my dream kitchen. It came out even better than I had hoped. I think it is important to review your budget early. Extreme quality costs. Think "Homes on Homes" quality and worthy of HGTV results. I don't want to over promise. It is YOUR design, so you will get what you give. Haim's expertise in managing is worth his weight in gold. Ask early if at your budget level they are interested. Over the years, we had our stairs repaired multiple times because no one bothered to figure out what the underlying issues were. Jarrell took the time to get to the bottom of what the issues were and came up with the appropriate solutions. We weren't just looking for someone who can do the job, we were essentially looking for someone who can permanently fix the issues with our stairs. And that person was Jarrell. Of the handful of contractors we have previously hired and ultimately failed, Jarrell was the one and only person who delivered and actually understood the assignment. Upon making an initial appointment for an estimate with Jarrell, he did contact me to let me know that he was on his way. He was on time. As per my request, he did contact me upon arrival and remembered not to ring the doorbell. Jarrell provided multiple estimates that we could choose from. Each estimate clearly listed all of the work that would be done, so that we would all be on the same page. With his attention to detail, Jarrell had remembered to include tasks that we had previously discussed verbally in the estimates. More importantly, he did follow through and complete these said tasks. Meaning, he is on top of things and doesn't need to be reminded. Jarrell is a man of his word. Punctuality Punctuality was taken very seriously. Jarrell consistently showed up on time on the dates and times he announced he would be working on the stairs. Communication Jarrell always kept an open line of communication. He welcomed questions and concerns. With my experience with previous contractors, I've always found this to be lacking and a struggle. Therefore, I was pleased with Jarrell's forthcoming communication that lasted throughout the entire project. Transparency Jarrell was transparent about fees and costs. These were communicated in advance. He is honest and trustworthy. Respectful After each time Jarrell came to work on the stairs, him and Arlene cleaned up, this included sweeping and tidying up the garage. This may be deemed common practice, however, with our previous experience with other contractors, it actually isn't common practice. Jarrell and Arlene also had things put away neatly and organized. Garbage produced from the project was also removed from the premises. Craftsmanship The quality of his work speaks for itself. There is attention to detail and precision. You should know by now how unbelievably difficult it is to find someone like Jarrell in Las Vegas. With hiring Jarrell, what you are paying for is someone who will complete the job correctly the first time.

They attempted insurance Fraud by telling State Farm that my carpet upstairs had been replaced and it HAD NOT. I caught the mistake, and they tried to lie and claim that it was an ERROR by the office manager... I had to miss work to meet with their workers on several occasions, only to have them not show up and even call to cancel. On top of that they did horrible work and my floor upstairs feels uneven when walking upstairs. They did not caulk and seal around the toilets, baseboards, or entry points. They left the gas running one day, and I had to turn away one of their workers because I smelled gas. The technician with Southwest Gas confirmed that they did indeed leave the gas running. A HUGE SAFETY RISK!! Elite Bros brushed it off as if it was NOTHING... When I tried to rectify the situation with them, they tried to CONTROL me by scheduling appoints on their own without considering I have a ton of other things I am working on. They need to be shut down because who else are they doing this to?

Because he is a veteran & I trusted her judgement, I disregarded the 1st "red flags" when he came to give us an estimate. ( Last month) Salvatore was very friendly & assured he could take care of our list of needs. He also pointed out other areas in our home that he said needed to be repaired & wanted to add to them to our list. After giving us a "discounted" estimate, he required $300 deposit...CASH ONLY. (At that time, his ad on Yelp listed Credit card & Paypal). We offered Paypal, Zelle & a check. It was night time & we were not going to risk going to an ATM. We asked if we could give him cash the next day but he told us he had to have it right then. (red flag) Our mutual friend wanted us to use him, so she offered to pay him the $300 and we paid her back through Paypal. Day one: Not a big deal for me, but he showed up a hour later than he said he would be here. Even though he knew the measurements ahead of time, he was not prepared to install curtain rods for 120 inch curtains. He wanted to make a "scaffold" out of OUR positional ladder & he needed something solid to put on the ladder so he could stand on it. We had to search around my house & in the garage. He found & wanted to use one of our wooden dog gates! While he waited, I took MY time to rummage through my packed garage & managed to find some wooden slats, behind a lot of stuff that I had to move out of the way. Then he had to take more time to cut the slats to the size he needed. It took him the rest of the day to install 5 curtain rods. So it had gotten too late to have him to start on something else on our list. After Salvatore left, I took a closer look at the rods & saw that he did not install the brackets as I asked him. They are exactly even with the width of the windows, so the curtains will not completely cover the sides. And he damaged some of the walls. When I let him know of this mistake, I realized that he did not have a "soldiers guarantee" as he promised. Not only did he want to charge me extra to fix his error, he blamed it on me, saying that I didn't tell him where I wanted them. I am very picky about things so I know I told him. My error was that I did not check his work while he was installing the rods. Salvatore said he would return Monday or Tuesday. But Monday came & I had to text him to see if he was coming. He hadn't even planned to come. It did not end well between him and I. Through a texted conversation, he said he felt "threatened" (???). because I told him that I was unhappy with his service & also because he had still not provided a receipt or an invoice as he promised each time I asked (we told him it could be handwritten). He then said he was not coming back to finish & we didn't have to pay him the rest of the bill. Why would he think we owed him more money when he never even started on the rest of work we agreed on? Now we have to hire someone else to fix Salvatore's errors & repair the damages he left behind. I have included pictures.
