After conversing with five companies and receiving their estimates, I'm so grateful that I decided on Silver State Floor Restoration (SSFR) to clean and seal my home's floor tile and grout. In addition to the main areas, they did my hallways, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Credit for my selection of SSFR goes to their representative Uri who conducted an onsite visit an estimate. Uri was polite, professional, shared his expert knowledge, and was believable. His estimate was the highest I received, but I felt most accurate given the labor involved, reasonable, and offered the most value in terms of his team's quality of work and SSFR's commitment to customer satisfaction. Because I was having some walls painted in my home, Uri recommended the floor restoration project be conducted afterwards. Three weeks later, Uri and his team of five guys arrived on a Saturday on time, professional in appearance, and focused on getting the job done efficiently and effectively. They carefully moved all my furniture items out of the way and protected them, my walls, and areas with guards and plastic wraps. They were very meticulous and thorough during the several hours of tile and grout cleaning, then sealing. Afterwards, they carefully placed my area rugs and further back into their original position. The years of foot traffic, kitchen spills, plus aging pets who made their own "contribution"; we needed a deep cleaning but knew we would never enjoy beautiful floors again. We were wrong. Gus visited us for a consultation and quote in July, but it was not until six months later we were ready to get the job done. I called the office and our quote was quickly located and the job was scheduled. On the big day Gus and his army arrived promptly on time. His expert team - there were six in all - went right to work getting the work area prepped for the job to be done. As with just about any project the prep work is key. They did a terrible job and the floor kept getting worse after what they did. Silver State came and were able to totally restore the flooring and grouting back to when it was brand new. Unbelievable! We built a home in late 2021 and chose light colored tile and white grout, which was probably a mistake since this is the second time we've thoroughly cleaned the tiles and grout. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Silver State Floor Restoration. I have travertine floors and used two different companies in the past. The first company left a mess on the walls, furniture, and appliances. The second company used poor grade products and my floors squeaked for two years afterwards. Can't tell you how annoying that was! Because my floors looked so bad, mostly because of the crappy products the last guy used, I contemplated just getting all new flooring. But first I decided to get five different bids and really questioned each on their process and products. Jose was professional and offered up the most information. He said the floors would look brand new when finished. His price was right in line with everyone else, a tad less actually AND, they leave you with a gallon of floor cleaner including never ending refills! Just call when empty, leave the empty gallon outside, and they'll drop off a full one. Seriously, who does that?! Now the good part...Gus and his crew of 7 arrived promptly at 8am. They all worked quietly, systematically, and efficiently and finished by 3pm. I also chose to have my grout Color-Stained since the floors are over 10 years old. Gus, all on his own, thought it would look better to go a shade darker than the original white color. He had his guys do a couple areas with different lighting and had me come look before doing the entire house. I loved it!!!! I could hardly wait to see the finished product and boy I was not disappointed. My floors DO look brand new. Absolutely gorgeous. And no squeaking!!! Complete silence!!!
