We could not be happier with the job Gus and the team from Silver State Floor Restoration did on our tired stone floors. The flooring suffered for many years. The years of foot traffic, kitchen spills, plus aging pets who made their own "contribution"; we needed a deep cleaning but knew we would never enjoy beautiful floors again. We were wrong. Gus visited us for a consultation and quote in July, but it was not until six months later we were ready to get the job done. I called the office and our quote was quickly located and the job was scheduled. On the big day Gus and his army arrived promptly on time. His expert team - there were six in all - went right to work getting the work area prepped for the job to be done. As with just about any project the prep work is key. They expertly wrapped our furniture and appliances - protecting them from the deep cleaning our floors were about to receive. They carefully removed furniture taking very good care of our home during the work. This team work very hard. They never took a break. They paid close attention to every detail. It was amazing to watch. After the cleaning it was time to deal with the aging grout that was stained and damaged in many places. We opted to have the grout painted. Gus showed us the options by painting a few areas. We opened and closed the shutters to see how each looked under the different light. Once selected the color that everyone on the team grabbed a brush and went to work. The sealing process followed and then it was time to reset the furniture. This team from Silver State Flooring Restoration worked their you-know-what off. The result is we have stone floors that look nothing short of amazing. We are more than pleased with the quality of the work. The price we paid and the aftercare we can now expect. I had some stubborn stains on my tile floor that I could not remove on my own, so I contacted SSFR to see what they could do. Gus came to my home, quickly identified the problem as leftover grout residue from the original installers, and explained exactly how they could fix it. After they completed the work, my floors looked beautiful -- the grout stains were completely gone, and the floors looked better than they ever had before. There was a separate issue that I had concurs about, so I contacted SSFR about it. We built a home in late 2021 and chose light colored tile and white grout, which was probably a mistake since this is the second time we've thoroughly cleaned the tiles and grout. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Silver State Floor Restoration. I have travertine floors and used two different companies in the past. The first company left a mess on the walls, furniture, and appliances. The second company used poor grade products and my floors squeaked for two years afterwards. Can't tell you how annoying that was! Because my floors looked so bad, mostly because of the crappy products the last guy used, I contemplated just getting all new flooring. But first I decided to get five different bids and really questioned each on their process and products. Jose was professional and offered up the most information. He said the floors would look brand new when finished. His price was right in line with everyone else, a tad less actually AND, they leave you with a gallon of floor cleaner including never ending refills! Just call when empty, leave the empty gallon outside, and they'll drop off a full one. Seriously, who does that?! Now the good part...Gus and his crew of 7 arrived promptly at 8am. They all worked quietly, systematically, and efficiently and finished by 3pm. I also chose to have my grout Color-Stained since the floors are over 10 years old. Gus, all on his own, thought it would look better to go a shade darker than the original white color. He had his guys do a couple areas with different lighting and had me come look before doing the entire house. I loved it!!!! I could hardly wait to see the finished product and boy I was not disappointed. My floors DO look brand new. Absolutely gorgeous. And no squeaking!!! Complete silence!!!
