Everything was legit good and cooked perfectly. The taste was authentic and just what I expected from somewhere in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island or Long Island but I was in Lake George. Legit good fried calamari, meatballs, braciole, sausage, and a terrific red sauce that could be called a gravy and nobody would disagree. Steaks were prepared exactly right and were tender and juicy. Chicken Scarpariello as good as I make it (and mine is good!) This was my 2nd time in the last 2 years and I can't wait to come back. Staff and service were very friendly and accommodating and the ambiance is perfect. If you're in Lake George or nearby and want Italian - come here.

We asked our waitress if it could be turned down and she said it was on an automatic timer. We watched as the woman in the table next to us put on a jacket and another woman put on a wrap. Not only unpleasant but cooled off our food rather quickly. For the food, poor quality Italian bread served with oil and balsamic. A nice little salad came with dinner, unusual these days. I had the Maestro with fresh pasta and nicely sized shrimp in a brown sauce. Delicious. Daughter had chicken parm which she also liked. And husband had the chicken sorentino, both of those had with a side of pasta. There is an up charge for fresh pasta, but is certainly worth it. We shared a bottle of wine, fairly priced. We chose to leave without dessert, could not take another 15 minutes to eat in the freezer. Next time, take out.

He ended up eating it with a fork and knife. My salad was well dressed and the croutons were tasty, a nice seasoned brown bread. My Nana's crab cakes were good, but she didn't care for the mixed greens they were served on. For the three of us, we paid just $40 for lunch and that included nearly an $8 tip. Our server was great, but we were literally her only table; no one else was in there when we stopped in for lunch around 11:15ish today, so it's hard to have bad service when it's just you and the waitress in the dining room. Also it can get busy here, especially for dinner or after the first round of daytime golfers finish up. So be prepared to wait if you come during those times.

After a 45 minute wait, the meal came out cold and way over done to the point it was inedible. Normally, I'd chalk it up to a bad night but not when the prime ribs were $40 a piece. Brought it to the owners attention and he just shrugged it off. I paid the bill and we left. Being gluttons for punishment, we thought we'd give it another try a couple of weeks later after a day out on the boat. My wife ordered some sort of lemon/chicken pasta. It came out with came out with no chicken and the pasta was so overdone that it was sticking together like mush. My wife took one bite and put her fork down. I believe that dish was $25. After a bunch of apologies, one would have thought that they would have taken it off the bill but no, they did not. Needless to say, we're done with that place.

As beautiful as the atmosphere and attentive the wait staff I was greatly disappointed in my meal. My dinner of veal relates with a white mushroom sauce was served cold. The stuffing was bland and uneventful. The white sauce had congealed and was flavorless. And the veal it self was not properly cooked,, no fond on the outside for flavor and the meat flavor, undercooked. Very disappointing. I'll have to go again to see if this was just an abberation.
