A bit dated interior and tables aren't organized to maximize space here, but the portions at big and prices aren't bad at all. We've been for both lunch and dinner here and haven't been disappointed by our overall meals, but usually there's one or two things that just didn't go right. Today, we stopped in for lunch. I ordered a Caesar salad, my Nana got the crab cakes, and my Poppi order the specialty wrap, a salmon one that promptly fell apart out the bottom when he picked up the first half of the wrap. He ended up eating it with a fork and knife. My salad was well dressed and the croutons were tasty, a nice seasoned brown bread. My Nana's crab cakes were good, but she didn't care for the mixed greens they were served on. For the three of us, we paid just $40 for lunch and that included nearly an $8 tip. Our server was great, but we were literally her only table; no one else was in there when we stopped in for lunch around 11:15ish today, so it's hard to have bad service when it's just you and the waitress in the dining room. Also it can get busy here, especially for dinner or after the first round of daytime golfers finish up. So be prepared to wait if you come during those times. read more

This is a old man bar at a local low level golf course. All kinds of people go here. Kids are welcome. It always feels as though they're waaaaay understaffed. The bartender is the waiter. The food is ok. Do not, DO NOT get their pastas. Soooo gross. Old and mushy. Also, steer clear for their chicken anything. Go with a burger, Caesar salad or the Reuben. Something easy. I suppose if you have dentures or otherwise fragile teeth their "dinners" are appropriate. Burgers, wings, fries... BAR FOOD. It's good for bar food. Don't even bother asking for substitutions. There's probably some angry grumpy cook they have to wake up each time an order is placed. They have indoor driving ranges and tons of TVs with all the games playing. Sometimes they'll do trivia or have live music. They're also happy to let you order a sandwich and some beers then go outside and hit some balls at the driving range. This is not a classy place... and it is not pretending that it is either. It's an easy local spot. Go here, order a simple drink, have some wings, watch the locals tease each other. Been there for organization events and private parties. It's meh ... decor circa late 80's, bland, predictable food. Service is okay, polite with the newly required leg and arm tats screaming look at me I'm different...except they all look the same ...zzz. Last private event attend was roughly $1000 for a snooze worthy brunch for 35. Shoulda come in my pj's - even the coffee couldn't liven it up. read more

We decided to eat out and try somewhere different. I called ahead for reservations which was recommended on the website. When we (3 of us) arrived, a few minutes early, we stumbled about trying to figure out where to go. The only sign was where to enter. There is no hostess stand, the two staff people ignored us until one of them asked if we had reservations. When I said yes, she went to the bar and then disappeared. Another group of 3 came in behind us and was sat before us because they had apparently called in their reservations a week ago. The staff clearly felt put out and 'guessed' they could could move a table into the middle of the room for us. We chose to leave and go to Mullen's Pub in Hudson Falls. We were welcomed and served with a smile! A much better choice and our bellies were happy. read more

Great place to grab a drink and bite to eat with friends and family. I've been here numerous times for many different occasions and am always happy. I've done summer golfing with drinks, a nicer dinner with family, and happy hour with friends. Last night I went once again. We played virtual golf while listening to live music (Kings English), had apps, meals, and drinks. We had onion rings, pasta, pizza, and a wrap. Everything came out quickly, correct, and tasted great. Service was fast and friendly. The part that pleases me is that they are very accommodating. I don't eat meat, they have limited vegetarian options, but ALWAYS create something great for me. Last night they made a pasta with pink sauce and fresh vegetables, it was very good. Honestly went here to eat lunch quickly before a round of golf and were HAPPILY surprised!! BEST and I mean BEST grilled cheese and turkey club we have ever had! The grilled cheese was a thick cut toast that was fresh and cooked to perfection! The turkey club was again thick crust toast and fresh thick cut turkey breast!! Oh and don't forget about the TO DIE FOR homemade chips!! MUST GO AND EAT HERE!! Will definitely come back even if I wasn't golfing! You will NOT be disappointed! read more

The food and portions could be FIVE star but the service was awful. My son and daughter-in-law arrived before us and were greeted with "it's just me here right now so you'll just have to deal with it". What? Really? They were there 30 minutes before us and were not even asked if they wanted to order drinks. We almost walked out. If I hadn't had a gift certificate, we would not have stayed. What a pleasant surprise. My wife had a delicious grilled cheese and tomato sandwich with coleslaw and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were the best. She was only able to eat half of the sandwich and onion rings. I had a great caesar's salad with blackened chicken. We both finished with a slice of apple pie. read more

Someone stated, a hidden gem, and they are right! Did lunch here several times and everything was wonderful. Finally was able to do dinner here and so happened they had prime rib on the menu that evening. It was outstanding! The garlic mashed potatoes were terrific and the serving was generous. This is my First review for yelp. I'm a "local" who frequents area establishments, usually not straying too far from tried and true favorites. This is my only experience at Bogey's. We were greeted by a rushed member of the wait staff who gave us a choice of seating. We chose to sit viewing the golf course. We arrived just as the early bird was ending and was offered a very limited menu. The server was overbearing and trying way too hard to impress... Simple prompt service would have sufficed. I ordered the king size prime rib and my guest ordered the sirloin. The waiter assured me the rib selection was rare to well. I ordered med-rare and she ordered the same. Mine came out overcooked by a few shades and hers was spot on. While the taste of the rib was good, salt content was too much as the plate was over flowing with very salty au jus. Her steak tasted like straight lighter fluid. I'm not sure how they prepared it but it left an awful taste in the mouth after eating just one bite. Our sides of Parmesan steaks fries were the best part of the meal. The waiter kept checking in on us after every bite. Got old very quickly. He assured us dessert was decadent but after lackluster meals we asked for a check. Overall the meal and service were below par. Will not return. read more

Tried Bogeys with our Red Hat group. I had a small pizza. My pizza was good but sauce kind of acidic/ tart and lacked the " Italian flavorings" , but I'd order it again. Crust was great. Went back today 1/13/16, and had a hamburger and fries. Hamburger delicious but too big. I suggested a smaller burger option. My Husband had their Philly Steak sandwich and he brought half of that home as it was so big. He loved the sandwich. The fries were good and not salty. We shared a Strawberry Shortcake and it was great!! It was $2.95 and came with fresh baked warm biscuits. So far, the place is great. They are open 7 days for lunch and dinner. On Wednesdays there is 15% off your check for lunch. I don't know if it applies to dinner also. We will be going back!! read more

Went here for New Years Eve and we were very satisfied! We sat in lovely dining room with family and enjoyed everything. I had the fish and chips which were exceptional. Not your average fish and chips. This came with awesome potato wedges. The fish was also coated lightly in a beer batter. My wife had the broiled haddock and she rant and rave about that as well. Service was ample considering it was super busy for this special occasion. Ambiance was very cozy! read more

I went here for the first time a few days ago with my Grandma for lunch after many suggestions from her that we go there. It was excellent! I was adventurous and for the first time ever, I had a Reuben and it was delicious ! The waitress was so friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere is also very nice! Stopped by here on the recommendation of a friend instead of heading to Saratoga or Bolton Landing and was glad we did. I started with a crab cake which as good as any I've had at more upscale places in the area. For dinner I had a really nicely done burger that came out exactly as I ordered it - medium rare, perfectly seasoned, with some tasty caramelized onions and cheddar, and my friend had the Smoked Barbeque Chicken Sandwich which he really enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive too. All in all excellent pub food at great prices and I plan on going back to try the prime rib one weekend. read more
