Since it was my first visit, they created my account on the spot and made the whole process smooth. I went for a layered haircut to shorten my hair a bit. I showed the stylist a reference picture, and she completely understood the look I wanted. The session started with a nice hair wash, followed by the cut and blow-dry. The stylist did a great job -- my hair feels light, fresh, and styled just how I envisioned. They also offered tea, coffee, or other drinks as a kind gesture, which I really appreciated. The entire service took about 45 minutes on a Sunday, and I walked out happy with the result. The total cost came to $99 including tax, which felt a bit pricey to me for a haircut. However, the experience and quality were good enough that I'd consider going back -- hopefully when they have some offers for their regular clients!

From when I walked into the salon to walking out was 45 minutes for a wash, cut and blow dry of my really thick, long curly hair. I can't even blow out my own hair in 45 minutes! I also regularly see Joanna for color who has worked wonders to get me to a nice caramel brunette after I messed up my own hair color at home! Last time I saw her I needed highlights and gray root coverage. She knew I was in a rush, and she managed to do both processes at the same time to get me out of there faster. Highly recommend!

The space itself is gorgeous, huge, spotless and all of the professional equipment and products you could hope for are on display (including some of my favorite brands like Kerastase and Shu Uemura.) I had talked to the lady at the front desk about getting a last-minute appointment that day, and she pulled through. She was also super kind! So I came back a few hours later. I pulled up 10 minutes early, and I was met by Rosa and seated within two minutes of walking through the front door. I told Rosa the whole situation and asked if she would be able to get it close to the original inspo photo. She said she could, but we would have to cut a little bit off the ends, and I agreed that it needed to be done. She was so fast at cutting--it was insane. The final cut was sooooo good. I only did a cut and wash package, so there was no styling but I was able to tell right off the bat that this haircut is good. I didn't walk in with high expectations considering the amount of random layers and short hair I had, but I genuinely couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'm so happy I went to this salon. Everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable. This is definitely going to be my go-to salon!

My request took Rosa about 6 minutes to do: only one side of my head, a quick trim to the top portion of my long hair. I cash-tipped Rosa nicely, then we discussed my charge. Rosa said she barely touched me and we both agreed it should be a minimal charge. I was SHOCKED when I was ring up for $32.00, which I understand is your customary charge for a bang trim. IF I received a "bang trim", I would have paid that most willingly-----BUT $32.00 for a 6-minute one-sided bang trim???? REALLY?????? I've been a customer for about 12-15 years and I promise you, I shall NEVER return. With a $5.00 tip to Rosa, I spent a total of $37.00. For a 6-minute one-sided trim. In my mind, this is reportable to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I shall be doing so. Rosa, as I said in my earlier Review Post, was sensational and deserves to be highly applauded. However, I actually went through several (and frustrating) trials with a different salon/stylist until I found Vanessa. I showed Vanessa a few photos, gave her a vague description and in less than an hour, she whipped up exactly what I wanted, and even better. She provided amazing insight and feedback, and made me feel like she wasn't going to let me go until I looked absolutely amazing. She completely understand the current trends and how to make someone look effortlessly glamorous and beautiful. Not only is she a hair magician, but I also learned while talking to her that she has an amazing background styling A-list celebrities, was previously a hairstylist at Privé Salon AND freelances for photoshoots and clients.
