I went to hair creations yesterday for a last-minute urge to cut all of my hair off and to have a new style. I called and was able to make a last minute appointment. Later I received a phone call back that I was supposed to be getting my haircut by Alexandra but she was backed up and needed to push my appointment later that was totally no problem and now I am so glad that I was able to get my hair cut by her! Definitely no regrets here! Let me start by saying Alexandra was very personable and funny. I have never met her nor have I ever been to this hair salon and I felt like I've known her for years. I got lost in conversation with her while she was cutting my hair and when she was done the final product was exactly like the picture that I showed her I wanted. My hair is now soft easy to manage and to style and I have a more modern look. The price is super reasonable for having my hair washed (I can't remember the young lady's name but she massaged my head and it felt so good) cut and styled. $60 only because paying cc adds a $6 fee which I was fine with. I gave her a 50% tip and she very well deserved it! I will be back! read more

I made an appointment for the night before I was to fly out for my vacation as I always do. This was my first time going to this establishment as it was really close to my job. I made an appointment but the parking situation is horrendous and I was 5 minutes late. The girl who was supposed to do my hair was in the middle of coloring someone's hair and informed me that I would have to wait 45 minutes for her to be done. I was astounded that I would be the one to wait since I made an appointment. She informed me that I was late and she took another client. It does not take 5 minutes to get that far into a coloring session. From the moment I walked in I felt unwelcome by the way they greeted me with "do you have an appointment?" It completely ruined my before vacation ritual of getting a blow out and I left after waiting ten minutes because her dirty looks made me uncomfortable. I loved it and Adrienne talked me through the process and made me feel comfortable despite it being my first time. I felt really great about the place and even recommended it to others. However, I went back a few weeks ago and Ashley had done my hair. She was working on another client when I walked in and I had waited past my appointment time and then I'm not sure if she was rushing or something but she just called me over and started bleaching my hair without properly even discussing what I wanted. Let me start by saying the haircut I received here was well done. If you're looking for a cost effective place to get a no-frills cut, this place is for you. Unfortunately, everything else about my experience was not enjoyable. I called on a Friday for a last minute appointment for my boyfriend and I. When we were able to both be seen at 2pm the next day I should have known something was off. We showed up and we were told the same stylist would be cutting our hair. That isn't the end of the world, but I wish that had been made clear on the phone as I was under the impression we'd both have 2 pm appointments. My boyfriend went first and was finished within 15 minutes. I figured I'd be handled next. It wasn't until 3:15 that I actually was taken for the wash because the stylist was handling another client. While my haircut probably took about 30 minutes, I waited an hour after my boyfriend was finished to start the cut. I understand salons are extremely busy but I've never seen the level of double booking this salon does. Every stylist was working on multiple clients at the same time which leads to a pretty poor salon experience. Again, the haircut was good and if you don't care about your experience while in the salon, this is a great option. Unfortunately I think most people want to have some sort of enjoyable experience if they have to pay for a service, regardless of how reasonable the pricing may be. read more
