This place is a scam. Do NOT use, he STOLE parts off of our SUV, and tried to convince us to junk it. Strung us along for 2 years, until our insurance company, contracted someone else to take the car out of there. He took the hood, took our bumper, and several other parts. Tried to hide his thievery by telling us to just junk the SUV. We still don't have a drivable car and have been renting all this time, while he told us he was fixing it. read more

I went into Denny's because it was the first shop on the left hand side of the road. I needed a spoiler put on my 2015 Chrysler. Dennis gave me a great price. I was quite surprised when I returned and the car was cleaned and vacuumed great and there was actually a little thank you note inside for me. I brought my car to Denny and Sons for a paint repair on the front fender. They did an excellent job and the paint on the fender looks flawless! They washed and waxed my entire car and also vacuumed the interior. My car looked brand new when I picked it up! They were also the lowest estimate that I received for the paint repair. Painted the hood of my car, after a year first the clear coat then the paint itself peeled off! Brought it back, saying only "I have a problem with this hood". He didn't recognize me and said "I've seen this many times, its improper preparation and incompatible paint and clear coat. Best to replace the hood. When I told him it was HIS work, his jaw dropped and he said "NYS law, I only have to guarantee my work for 6 months." This is from Denny Jr. His father, who died, was a stand up guy who would have apologized and repainted it. His son, who I dealt with, is NOT to be trusted. They didn't charge me for the scratches they added. I saw they had someones chrome bumper lying face down on the concrete side walk...gives you an idea of how careful they are. Finishing and detailing work is one the hardest parts of auto body and I give them a D- at best! read more

This place is great. I used to live down the street from them and they would actually have the mechanic come pick the car up so my wife didn't have to put the sleeping infants in the car and drive them down the street. They are reasonably priced and the staff is incredible. Definitely recommend these guys over any other local places. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone oh, I don't know how they all with body work but as far as mechanical work they leave a lot to be desired. I paid $700 to have the heat fixed in my car when I brought it back a couple of weeks later it still wasn't working he wanted three hundred more to do the job he was already paid for. My family and I have been going to Denny & Son's for over 20 years with many different vehicles. From very minor repairs, to some more serious ones. We are always treated kindly. All of the technical stuff with the adjusters, and insurance companies are handled by Dennis. Even making sure the rental car is all set up for us as well. I've called this business twice, both times for a tow. The 1st time I needed my care towed from an auto shop to my home (my home, the shop where my car needed to be towed from and Denny's are all just a couple of miles distance from each other, if that). Over the phone they said it would be $60 dollars which was a better deal than the other places I checked for a tow. At first I was informed that it would not take long to tow the car to my address. I had to call back two to three times for any status only to have my car brought over just before the shop was to close at 5PM when I had initially called several hours before. The car eventually arrived safely but then the guy who towed it said the charge was $63 (not that much more, but still not what I was originally told the price would be). The 2nd time was today. I first called at around 11:40AM and asked for the car to be towed from the same address they had towed it to the first time to an auto shop in the next town, which is only a few miles away. They did inform me that they only had one flatbed towing cars today and that they could tow my car but not for a few hours (I was told the tow would cost $70 because it was the weekend and they only had one truck out). I said that was fine and asked to be called if they would not be able to do it before 5PM which is when the auto shop closed, to which they agreed. After no word I called back at around 2PM. The head of the shop was not there but I was told that bank and would be back in a few moments. The person who answered the phone offered to have him call back once he returned, and I said that'd be great. I was not contacted so I called back at about 4 and spoke with the owner/head of shop again and was informed that they would not be able to tow my car until at least 6:30PM (the shop I needed to get it to closes at 5PM. I like that they're close by. I like that they charged less for towing (at least at the time anyway). I like that they were friendly. I do not like that they don't seem to keep to the time periods/spans they tell people. I especially do not like or appreciate that they don't at least call to inform you when or if they're unable to get to you or do the job in or at the time they originally told you. And I was very upset that I was told to pay a different price after I was originally told different (even if it was only a few dollars more). I did really appreciate how nice they were, but I was very upset that they wasted so much of my time. Especially because I could have called someone else to tow the car (probably pay a bit more) and gotten it to the shop early enough for them to do the work and pick it up the same day IF THEY HAD ONLY CALLED LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT DO IT BY TIME THEY ORIGINALLY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD.
