Most menu items are priced around $10, so be sure to look at the little menu that stays at the table for super-cheap items. The staff is often tired, which is what typically ruins a decent meal here. Like I said: show up in the wee hours before the morning rush and you'll get much better service and food. Order a burger then and you'll get a work of art. Free wi-fi is available there. Before we had electricity and internet service at home we relied on Denny's for downloads and cell phone charging. DON'TS: Spaghetti. I'm only giving two stars for my server..food was horrible. I went and dined with my mother and my two kids. Kids ordered Mac n cheese.my mom and I started with an appitizer. I ordered and omelet. We had an awesome waitress named Rhonda who was polite, courteous, hospitable, and prompt. We were greeted immediately and our drink orders were taken. I go in with my coworkers several times a month every morning. In the beginning, the food was fantastic and each visit it seemed like the quality was going down each time. My recent visit, the floor around our tables seemed very slippery, like it was greasy and water was just used to clean it up. There were many orders taken, so the wait times was understandable. After receiving our food, it was okay but enjoyable. Some condiments were asked for as our orders were taken and after receiving food they were not presented. Refills on our drinks were not received until we were about to leave. With one or two more people in the place, it seemed like it was largely ignored. Terrible experience. I'm pretty sure that our waitress forgot about us so people who came in after us were served first. When we finally got our meal, it was awful. I'm surprised this isn't already listed on Yelp. Today, I decided to sit at the counter. Good thing! The counter allows for better communication between food service and food preparation. For some reason, communication among staff was sadly lacking. But I commend the food server I had for trying to stay on top of it. I ordered the California Avacado Skillet. After a minute, I was informed that the restaurant was out of avacado, zucchini, and squash, which were three of the very necessary ingredients for this dish. Ok, fine. Got the menu back, it appears the lack of these ingredients affected a lot of the menu items. OH! WAIT! UPDATE! Apparently, they DO have avacado, but no zucchini or squash. Ok, I can still order the California Avacado Skillet if it's ok to substitute an onion/pepper blend for the zucchini and squash. And for good measure, they will throw in some broccoli at no extra charge. Ok, we'll give this a try. On the menu, the California Avacado Skillet is made with scrambled egg whites. I asked for "regular" eggs, not the egg whites. Yes, they can do that. And, for an example of how the food server was trying to "stay on top of it" and be thorough, the wonderful food server noticed that although she did the best she could to to enter my preference for regular eggs in the computer and communicate this information to the kitchen staff, she noticed that the request did not clearly get sent to the kitchen. So, she went over and above and verbally communicated this to the kitchen. (See the things you can observe when you sit at the counter?) I got my breakfast quickly, considering the circumstances. The photo on the menu is a bit misleading. The photo gives the appearance that you get "a lot of avacado slices" on this dish. All I got was two large chunks and a small chunk. . But it wasn't bad, even with the onion/pepper/broccoli substitutions for the zucchini and squash. But the zucchini and squash would have been much better. I was really impressed with how the food server tried her hardest to stay on top of things and get what I wanted. I gave her an extra tip for this. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant, but no room to park an RV. I came here in a car. read more

The country fried steak was okay but as you got to the middle there was cold patches and it was very pink in some places... We were a little worried trying Denny's after reading the bad reviews, but the food and service were wonderful! We went today during a busy lunch rush, and yet the waitress, Kristina, was very friendly and the food we ordered was cooked perfectly and very tasty! We both got the Philly Cheesesteak Melt and a split side order of strawberry pancake bites (yum!). We just moved here from Idaho 3 months ago and there was no Denny's in Cascade, so we had not been to one in almost 5 years. I'm quite baffled at the unprofessionalism and poor attitude of this locations manager, Robert. I placed pickup through DoorDash and arrived close to the time of the scheduled pickup and was greeted by a very nice women working who accidentally handed me the wrong order. After walking back to the place I'm staying I realized it was the wrong order so I walked back and was helped by the same women as before. She let me know that the DoorDash order didn't come through and she asked if I could show that it charged me. Sure enough I pulled up my bank statement and I was charged for the order. She informed me that she would get the manager to help. He came out and immediately gave me attitude and treated me as though I was dumb. I showed him all of the same proof only to be combated with the same negative and defensive energy. I was a little taken back considering I was not upset in the slightest and fully willing to pay in person and take it up with DoorDash. I let the manager know that there was no reason to be defensive or rude and that I would prefer to just simply order again from the women I dealt with before. He instead said that he refused to serve me and let me know that he wasn't being rude and that I should come again another day. I'm just visiting town and will never visit this location again. My boyfriend and I came to this location at around 1:00pm. The waitress was trying her absolute best, but they were completely understaffed. We didn't receive our food until 1:50pm. They only had 1 chef working and actually had to bring a waitress to the back to help cook. On top of everything, the 1 chef that was back there, he was moving incredibly slow. The fact that they were constantly receiving mobile orders so often it kept on pushing our order back even more. I decided to try the 'new' Denny's after it just reopened. Floors are very slippery. Not sure if it's the flooring or if they are greasy. People were bringing in their pets. These were not service dogs which must be certified thru DOJ and wear the approved saddle blanket or harness. This violates the health code alone. It was very noisy and I couldn't hear my breakfast companion. I ordered 'The Skillet.' Ended up with diarrhea for the next 36 hours. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful. But I came for breakfast and conversation with a friend. I may go again if they clean up their act. read more

I used to like coming here most the workers are always nice and helpful. Always coming to check on us. But, when Rhonda is working we feel rushed to hurry up and get done eating. She doesn't check on us. She doesn't come make sure everything is good. When asked to get something it takes her 20 min or more to get it. Tonight, there was one table other than ours and she never once checked on us. She didn't refill drinks and she walked around like she was mad at the world. I would like to start this off by saying I am disgusted with the ceo and management of this company and there standards for the community of Aberdeen. I walked into Denny's on 12/22/2018 at 230 am from traveling to visit family and my husband and I were really hungry for a delicious breakfast. We were the only two in there besides a maintenance guy. We were greeted by a nice waitress who was taking care of our order. After she took the order my husband realized it had been sitting up there for 30 min and there was no cook in sight wich brought to my attention that for us being the only two being in the restaurant what was really going on? Than about another ten minutes goes by and the cook finally appeared he was yelling and on his cell phone no gloves he started cooking are food while hes got the phone between his ear and shoulder trying to cook and screaming his business and mind you he's acting strange like he was high on some substance he's walking back and forth screaming on the phone still. by 3 am now the food still not done he started scratching his head still on the phone he dropped the spatula picked it up and well I'm not sure if it went back in our food but with all he was doing I was ready to throw up I was disgusted with how he was cooking our food. Many health code violations he's touching his phone with tons bacteria and viruses cooking our food with no gloves scratching his skin cells all over the kitchen and dropping utensils because he is so tweaked out walking back and forth leaving the kitchen going mia while on his cell phone. He obviously must run the show there I don't know who's paying him but I would have fired him if I was the boss or ceo of the company. Denny's sure has changed there standard I don't know if they ua but this guy needs one for sure.And what about cameras does anyone ever look at them because this was all suppose to be on camera.the ceo or owner is loosing money because he has hired the wrong person for the job. Cooking takes a while but it can be assumed they don't have enough cooks for how many people are usually in the building. Food is OK. Pretty much like any other Denny's.
