I forgot to add ranch condiments to my order and it was my first time actually using GrubHub and they told me it was extra and I'd have to go back through the app to add that to be able to pay for it considering the delivery drivers do not take cash for extras added after the order was placed and purchased already. With that being said, I told her no worries whatsoever. I had no idea. It's all new & confusing to me and this nice employee whose name I regretfully didn't get said she'd just throw some in the bag for me anyways. It is a nice diner, located in Adelanto, near US-395! It was my first restaurant, that I have visited, when I moved to Southern California! Thus, I did not visit this establishment for over ten years. Until the month of November in 2019. During my second visit, the place looked the same, as in clean and welcoming. There was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. The staff working here was friendly and polite. The prices for meals were quite fair. At the same time, those meals were delicious. So definitely, next time, when I visit my family in High Desert, I might visit this establishment again. read more

I called this location to order and Chris pick up the phone and I asked him do they still have the breakfast slam available, he said yes and immediately hung up the phone and I could not place my order. I called back and told him that I was actually trying to order and he hung up and he said oh ok and then he literally started talking to another customer, that I am assuming was standing in front of him. Chris did not ask to place me on a brief hold as he should of. I said hello and he was just talking to the other customer. This was very disturbing customer service. read more

Horrible! Manager is rude and unprofessional. Kicked a family with a small complaint out. He proceeded to yell and argue with the customers in the middle of the restaurant. I ordered curbside pickup like I've done many times before and it's usually worked out for me. This time I parked waited a few minutes past my pickup time. When I called they told me they'll be out in a couple of minutes. I waited for 20 minutes and nothing. I tried calling but the phone kept giving me a busy signal. I wear a brace on my leg so it's difficult to walk around, that's why I do curbside pickup. I went in and got my food, which had been sitting out for God knows how long. This is one of the best Denny's restaurants we've ever visited. Our server, Desiree, was wonderful, on point and kept our drink glasses full. The food was equally grand: the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette was amazing, with very tender beef and onions/peppers cooked perfectly. The American Slam came with plenty of cheddar cheese, and the bacon was cooked spot on - not rubbery and not overdone. While others noted issues with service, that definitely wasn't the case with our visit. Far more expensive restaurants should learn from the customer service Desiree, and this Denny's provides. read more

Ive worked at Dennys and know all the managers in the SB area, i came here with some friends this morning and the only reason im NOT giving 1 star is our server handled us exceptionally well. 2.5 avg stars to begin with says enough! I added 2 pics, food on the inside of my coffee cup i didnt notice until i exposed it.. and 1 slice of avocado on my sandwich. Also, my friends eggs were way overcooked as well as her Waffle which i dont understand as the waffle maker comes with a timer! I know ive used it! Had to have left it in the waffle maker until all the other food was done to get it that cooked. The server was great. She did not grow impatient with us at all after we returned the eggs, waffle, and coffee cup. If I could I would give them a negative 5 stars. I visited the restaurant on 11/18/15 I arrived about 5:30 am. I was the only customer. I ordered country fried steak. I ordered eggs over medium. They were served over hard. The hash browns were very greasy. I could only taste vegetable oil. I sent my toast back as the bread was not toasted and it was gold with a lot of cold butter smeared all over. Toast was brought back warm, barely toasted still only bread with a glob of butter. Meat was good. Granting the cook sucks and should find another career the server served me this horrible meal. He did not check back. Never brought me a check. No tip! Restaurant was dirty. The carpets were dirty, trash under the tables. My bench seat in booth was dirty, I had to wipe off. The ladies room was disgusting. Toilets were filthy, empty seat protector dispensers and two bugs crawling on the floor. How dirty is the kitchen. I'm now googling the number for the health department. read more

I will give this location 3 stars, as the service here is pretty mediocre. The food is your standard Denny's fare... not better or worse than any other Denny's. I will say that I was driven to write this review JUST so that I could say how fantastic a server that Sam A. is... this is the first time that I've seen him at this location. He took care of us today at lunch and it was some of the best service I've received in a long time... not just at Denny's... anywhere. When we finally were helped, they didn't have half of the food that we spent 40 dollars on. On my way to Vegas and we needed to stop for a sit down place. This place was packed! So busy! Thought that might have bode well for me. No such luck. We ordered a slam and everything was cold. I had brunch with my boyfriend here today we paid the $3 extra to donate for the hungry children the waitress failed to give us our receipt and our coupons, 5 hours later when we realized that we never got a receipt nor our coupons we returned back only to sit down and wait for the manager to go through the cameras after 10-15 mins later send another cashier to give us the coupons that we paid for earlier with an apology from the manager and informed us that next time to let the cashier know if we don't receive a receipt. The manager never once came out to apologize for the whole ordeal and to top it of to get told I have to remind a cashier how to do their job I am in disbelief in how they handled everything and the fact that the manager couldn't come out him or herself is beyond belief.
