Denny's is Denny's, one just happen to be here. Good food, good services. Good standard.

Ok well this is obviously Blythe and u can't expect elegance but given the fact this is Denny's, this place met my expectations food wise. The food was your typical Denny's food. My mom and I came for breakfast on our way to CA and we got Jane as our server. I have to say she went above and beyond my expectations. She made my experience a great one! She was super attentive and friendly but most of all, I never had to ask for anything. My coffee and water was always topped off, I had the condiments I needed before I even asked. I spilled some of my coffee and used my napkin up and before I could even look up, there she was placing more napkins down. She was awesome. If you happen to come for breakfast, ask for Jane. read more

Went in at 11pm when there are few people. One of the servers straight out ignored us, i had to do the rude cough to get her attention to be seated. Thankfully the lady who seated us wasn't our server. The whole restaurant smells, especially the bathrooms. I'm not sure if it's their fault on that though since it smelled outside, might be a city sewage issue. Ate here in the late morning (10AM ish) between a move across states. Had an older lady as our waitress and she was really friendly. It's been a while,since I've been to Denny's but the good was great. Had an all american slam and a steak omelette. The star however were the has browns. Surprised the rating was so low. read more

Super flow service and bad food. Pancakes were soggy and tasteless, it took them almost a full hour to bring fries and pancakes and the steak my friend ordered wasn't even fully cooked or properly seasoned. Potatoes I ordered were undercooked and has no flavor. read more

The food was very good, and was more then enough to eat. The place however is old and was very dirty. The bathrooms were dirty and had urine splashed on the wall around the urinal, and on the floor. Garbage was in great need of emptying. the outside grounds and planters had trash mixed in with the flowers. Windows smeared with grime. The staff seemed more interested in making fun of the way customers walked, this included the manager. Our waitress Joye did an outstanding job, and kept trying to just do her job. read more

This is the worst Dennys. I wish I could give zero stars. I come to Dennys because it's fast. Not because it takes forever. We were seated and two other tables were helped before us. They were out of two menu items. How can you be a major chain diner on one of the counties longest interstates and be out of menu items?

It gets two stars because the food, once corrected was decent, however, this was my worst Denny's experience ever. I ordered one of their skillets without bell pepper and ended up with a tiny handful of potatoes without any onions either. Not enough food even for my tiny tummy. They also completely forgot to add any of the cinnamon/etc topping to my boyfriends pancakes and the toast I ordered never even made it on the list. read more

we make this Denny's our breakfast stop on our way to Las Vegas (we don't take the traditional route from San Diego to Vegas, we like to go the back way). We always stop here. The food is good, the servers are always friendly and the biggest reason, is the restrooms are always clean. read more

We have stopped at this place for many years and it just keeps getting worse! 1) tables and menus sticky with syrup 2) sat for 13 mins before our anyone assisted us while 5 servers walked around us 3) waitress took order and then rudely interrupted me to get drink order 4) dry cheese embedded on my "clean flatware" complained to someone who was just standing around. I guess he addressed manager because one popped up all of a sudden....we had been there 30 mins (1130a) 5) Guest makes a comment to friend, "Eff this, they take to long" and walked out 6) Some lady walking around trying to make seating arrangements for her large party- (invading others space) 7) Manager coughed on one of his employees (back of neck) 8) Womens restroom was disgusting!!!! You can tell no effort is made in keeping them clean. I could just imagine what's men's looks like YUCK! I know when I complained about my flatware the manager was notified. I saw the gentlemen go and talk to someone and look at our table. Soon after that's when the manager popped out. He kept approaching our table to make sure all was good, his strong effort was so obvious which makes matters worse. He even began to seat people. He even closed the blinds for some customers, guess the customers before them didn't matter. This place reflects on management and by reading past reviews the same problems keep happening. I don't think its important for this business what customers think I see more bad reviews than good. Something has to CHANGE! We also think someone is trying to save on food costs. Excellent service by Barbara and great teamwork providing our food and coffee refills. The omelets and scrambled eggs were fluffy and not overdone. The pancakes were light and the bacon and sausage done perfectly. We were greeted and seated promptly and the food came out hot. The restaurant was clean and has a great menu including gluten free and vegetarian. read more

Apparently, they have a Grade A review for health and cleanliness at this establishment, but we were greeted by garbage smells, inside and outside, as well as dirty bathrooms and seating. The service was extremely slow and staff was inattentive to our requests. The waitress made a mistake on my order and rather than ask to fix it, she just said sorry and left the food how it was. Usually we love Denny's, but we will not be going back to the one in Blythe. read more

Today I stop by Denny's at Blyth CA about 3 pm is not busy I stand in front for 15 minuets is no one take us to site and two waitresses stand in cash place just talking not serving us ,finally one waitress take us to site down and left. We site there 30 minuets no one is coming to serving us . I was wonder why ? Because I am Asian ? We cannot stand for that .we walk out and restaurant manager looking at us didn't say anything. The coffee was delicious! The manager, Daniel Ochoa was so friendly and engaging. Our waitress Crystal was not only attentive, but extremely pretty and humble about it. We enjoyed our food and the staff; our entire experience was relaxing and fulfilling. read more

Although every person we encountered was nice the service was not up to par. Our drink order was taken but not served for at least five minutes. My water cup had lipstick on it and I don't wear lipstick. I ordered hot tea but was not given the extra hot water always served with hot tea. Disappointing. read more

This is the worse Denny restaurant in the CA. We went to there this afternoon. We waited for 10 minuets, the hostess sat us. We were sitting at the table around 20 minuets, no server came to service us. I saw one sever came to our next table twice. She just glanced at us and left. Went in late at night, not busy at all, got seated immediately and waitress was polite. Just about the only good thing about it. We sat about an hour waiting for our food and nobody checking in or giving updates, not a big order either and still saw other people who came in after us getting their food before us. If you've been to one Denny's you've pretty much been to them all. Growing up with a lot of family living in CA and me in AZ this place is a staple on my road trip because of its convenient location... not necessarily for its stellar food. I have to giggle at anyone that goes into a Denny's expecting diner food. Recently I noticed they started putting Denny's Diner on the sign but IMO on most accounts it's far from the traditional greasy spoon; try as it might. Service is average and the prices are cheap. If you've never been to a real diner Denny's won't disappoint. read more

On our way back from Arizona to California we stopped at this Denny's and had breakfast. Looked like a typical Denny's from days gone by; kind of that 70's look. Coffee was weak, of course it wasn't Starbucks or Peets, but instead just your standard cup of coffee. I ordered the Sirloin Ultimate Breakfast platter, which consisted of some small pieces of steak, some grilled peppers and some grated hash browns of which I don't really care for. If there is a zero rating this restaurant is a zero. To the owner/corporate leaders of Dennys, there is a problem in this location. My spouse and I stopped in at around 7am on Tues, April 10, 2018. We came in and there were 2 women employees who were just standing talking to each other, 1 customer at the bar, and a cook who also was just standing around looked really bored. We waited to get seated, did not get acknowledge, so we sat ourselves and got our menus. After about 10 mins, still did not get acknowledged. Two white, gentlemen walked in. Acknowledge immediately, seated and glasses of water brought to them. I would like to think that maybe my skin color was not welcome at this Denny's. We waited a few more minutes. Still no acknowledgment that we were even there. One of the waitresses lowered the window coverings and made our area where we were seated darker, as if she was closing that part of the restaurant. After that, we decided we were not welcome there, and we left. We are regular patrons at Dennys in Phoenix, AZ where we live and wherever our travels take us. We will however now boycott Dennys and will make sure our social circle knows about this experience. read more

Came to this Denny's for a lunch/bathroom stop on the way to Sedona, AZ. The food was mediocre, which is expected from any Denny's location. But the service was awesome! Great place to stop at if you need longer than 15 minutes off the road! read more

excuse my language but f**k this place and the staff!!! i just left from there and watched regulars get seated and have their drink orders taken even though i was first. sat there while waitresses passed us by even stared down the manager and nothing. hell even the manager seated a regular thst came in 10 mins after us and took his drink order and food order. growing impatient we decided to leave and on my way out i the manager looked at me and i told him no service...his reply i know im arguing with them right now about it....????? your the damn manager hello get them moving or get to taking our order. i understand your busy and trying your hardest but man takimg care of the customers should be priority. read more

A nice place to sit down and eat when I travel to Arizona. Sometimes you need to eat at a place that doesn't have those Golden Arches on a long road trip. So for easy meal and a gas station right next store, this is the place to stop. read more

We had five adults in our party plus a baby, so we needed a high chair. There were approximately three other tables of people in the area they were seating us. Two large booths open, one table, and one small booth. Hostess points to small booth. I asked if we could have the larger one. Stood there dumbfounded and said, that seats eight. I said, great. We can sit there then? Ummm, no, we can't have our servers running around to different areas. (I've worked in the food industry so I fully get this, but the large booth was RIGHT NEXT to the small booth!!) We squeezed four people in, I pulled up a chair and plus had the high chair at the end of this booth as well. Server walks over AFTER we've set all this up and says, there are larger booths. I told her we were told we couldn't sit there. Ridiculous. Then my husband accidentally spilled his water glass while trying to maneuver the menus around. Server literally stood there watching and staring. Did nothing until I said, Ummm, you want to grab a towel or some napkins or something? Really? Food was ok, but when I get service like that, I don't care how good the food is, I won't go back. read more

Although the food was to a franchise standard and the people were nice enough. The place was just worn down, carpeted needed cleaning or replacing, table tops worn and an odor through out the place. we have stopped at this location 2 times and had a 5-star experience each time. The facility is clean, the restrooms had fresh clean smell and were well maintained. Our server, "Denett" was friendly, smiled the whole time and provided excellent service. We each had the Senior Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes (made from red potatoes - YUM!) with gravy, and a vegetable. It was hot and served promptly. I especially loved the Cesar dressing on the large dinner salad that came with the meal. We will definitely stop here again! read more

Very good, it has a "homey" feel to it and the staff are great. We have gone to this Denny's every time that we have gone to Disneyland over the years and it has always had great food. It has been a half way stop every time when going from Arizona to Disneyland. read more

Worse Dennys I have ever been to. 18 mins to get even a drink, 20 mins to get a table, 3 mins after drinks to order food, 20 mins to get food (btw fries were cold, nachos were soggy, french toast burnt on outside/ mush on inside, burnt nacho in kids french fry and burger meal, burgers dry, chicken/bacon/cheese sandwich (bacon overcooked, meat cold, cheese not melted). Waiter asked if we needed anything else and didnt wait for answer and left, after that never came back. After 53 mins we finally gave up after even the kids wouldnt eat their food, 37 mins after sitting and doing nothing a waiter came over to ask if we were done. Overall 1hr and 30 mins to leave, no we didnt eat anything. read more

We have been to many of Denny's and this one had the friendliest staff by far. They made you feel welcome without feeling like you were troubling them. Even as we left they thanked us again. They are doing a fantastic job, I would definitely stop by again when we are passing through. read more

I'm not sure what all negative comments are about in regards to this Denny's??? I stopped in for dinner this evening and had a great dining experience. Service was outstanding and the food was great - exactly what I expected from Denny's. Thumbs up to Esmeralda V. - she was my hostess and waitress. Met me with a smile at the door - directed me to a booth and took my drink order without hesitation. She was a "top notch" customer service representative! Stopped into this dennys with my son to enhoy lunch, that was not what happened. I instantly felt discriminated against. The staff is primarily hispanics. I am a young Caucasian woman with pink hair and tattoos, my bill was brought with my food with the line 'heres this just in case' i watched as the waitress served others and waited till near the end of their meal to bring the bill. I found it extremely rude and offensive. I wasnt done ordering either which made it slightly irritating to receive my bill so soon. The food was decent, but the service was crap. read more
