There weren't many customers around 3:00-3:15pm on a Friday and I was served rather quickly after I made my order. Throughout my yearly Denny's birthday deal, this location is the only one who was able to provide many options such as having both bacon and sausage, cheese on eggs, and biscuits w/ gravy. The meal is delicious and filling that I asked for ā to-go. Furthermore, the place looks clean and tidy. My sister and I was in town from Southern California. Unfortunately, our GPS directed us to this location. The server Kurt B. was stressed because he was the only one trying to run the entire restaurant. He did the best he can under the circumstances. Me, my mother and grandma came into this establishment. I only saw one waiter serving everybody. When I was about to leave, I saw another lady. Where is the staff? When we receive our food, my grandma's eggs were uncooked. A lady sitting in front of us had got her food and stated that she was missing a burger. The waiter then stated that she thought the lady only wanted one burger. I feel like she should have had more clarity before she gave the lady her food. I moved my leg and felt something so when I looked under, it was a cup crushed. When I looked under my table it was disgusting. And the walls were greasy. My family and I visit this restaurant often since it's our halfway point, and we've grown great relationships with the staff especially Becca, the GM who is always amazing. On Veterans Day we had a disappointing experience with a newly transferred server who was visibly frustrated from the moment we sat down. Our appetizers and toast never came, and when I asked about them after 45 minutes, she got upset and never returned. Thankfully, another server stepped in and got Becca. This is one of the few 24/7 restaurants in the area which is nice that we have something open for people with odd schedules like myself. It's also good to go to after events that get over late and you just want the extra time to hang out or grab some more to eat. The service is hit or miss. We stopped here on New Year's day. We were seated immediately, then are ignored by the waitress for 10 minutes. She is fussing over a loud 12 person group of Seniors. She finally comes over and says it will be a least 15-20 minutes before she can even take our order because she is so busy and there are only 2 cooks working with the large groups. I ask if she can at least get us drinks, she looks at us funny and gets them. And for the next 20 minutes acts like we are not there. My son fries were burnt and so were the chicken tenders. I ordered scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns, and pancakes. First they gave me a tone of bacon which I am allergic! This was easily top 3 of the worst service we've ever had. It took quite a while to get drinks or anything. We put in a togo order along with our meal. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time but it was subpar. After she brought our food out, we literally did not see our server again and didn't get our togo order. After eating, we sat there waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting.. until after about 40 minutes we had to stop another server and ask her what was going on. Apparently our server had LEFT. Didn't say a word to us; she was cut from the floor and just dipped out. When the manager found out, she really could've cared less. We finally got our togo order and all that was taken off our $55 check was $10. So we paid $45 for subpar, cold food and terrible service. I should've just saved my 8 months pregnant wife and I's time and money and went to Waffle House, McDonald's, or any other place. read more

I didn't know where else to put this. So I'm leaving it as a review. I'm a Dasher, from a dasher's POV, on 12/25/22 the staff at Denny's was absolutely on point. Many customers had patience of an angel and some of a piss ant. There wasn't a time I walked in that evening and seeing the lobby empty. With limited staff and cooks, they straight killed Christmas rush! They all were hustling with a smile on their face, even though some people were mean muggin the staff. The staff knew my face, as I came in a lot that day and I sat at the bar by checkout and waited for my dash order. The manager, bless her heart dealt with a RUDE person, because they weren't waited on immediately. Sat there watched the whole interaction and if I were an employee, I wouldn't have served them either, but the very gracious manager stopped everything she was doing and served this person. And what she orders... a steak well done...that was just offensive in itself. I just want to say the staff on Christmas was nothing short of amazing. In this world of people not wanting to work, leaves businesses short staffed, so they work with what they got. My best advice for future customers on holidays is to order ahead, via phone, app, whichever help. Just remember EVERYWHERE IS SHORT STAFFED. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. I ordered the steak and chicken tender dinner. I ordered my steak medium. It came out almost still breathing. This steak should have come with free cow feed. I don't know if the "cook" missed a day of school at Dennys College but if he did I'm sure he missed how to cook a steak day. I would have complained sooner but our server took 35 minutes and 4 reminders that we needed refills so I didn't want to confuse her even more. Now she also brought out the bourbon chicken which was not what I ordered. But somehow it only took the "cooks" 3 minutes to make the chicken strips. Seriously, did you guys discover the technology to make food replicators like the use in Star Trek? Can I please ask one of those to order tea like captain Picard does? Now my wife's chicken strips were just as cold as if they were just brought out of the freezer. I'm guessing they also skipped chicken strip day? The gravy for my mashed potatoes was so old that it had grown a thick layer of skin over the top. I'm pretty sure I could have used that gravy to patch a few holes in my drywall at home. The best part of tonight was that I asked for wheat toast to go with my dinner. I was very clear I didn't want garlic bread. So out comes my food and I put strawberry jelly on my toast and took a big bite. Well, that was a mistake because they put GARLIC AND BUTTER ON MY WHEAT TOAST! I would have been more that willing to try and let them fix everything but I'm pretty sure I saw Hailey's comet more times than I saw my server. She never came back to check on us and we had to remind her that we needed refills once again. By that time I decided that I would like to get home and sleep in my bed at some point in time tonight and not sleep in the booth. We were all just done with it at this point because my wife and I had to wait 15 minutes longer to get our food after the rest of our party got their food. We had been there for close to 2 hours and it was not that busy. I'll most likely be sure to tell everyone I know about how terrible this location was. I'll be sure to post this on social media as well. Honestly, it shouldn't matter if we come in at 12.30am or 12.30pm we should get the same service no matter what. If I performed that terrible at my job, I wouldn't have a job. But seriously though, did you really figure out how to make the food replicators because I really want to try one out. Now if you will excuse me I have to feed my new pet cow I got courtesy of the Collinsville Denny's. He gets really mad if I don't feed him right away. read more

Not sure why the poor reviews here.. Kelly our server was extremely busy but she was amazing! We were seated in a timely manner and the manager got our drinks to start, due to possible understaffing. Got our drinks in a timely manner, our food took a little while, but there was only one server helping all the tables, but she did an awesome job (getting our refills before we were done with our current drinks). She was very attentive even with a million things going on. The food was good, the only weird thing was that the floors seemed sticky... not sure if it was really from the humidity or just sticky... but overall a very pleasant experience, I was nervous going there with the low rating, but it went decently well! read more
