I dont know what it is but every Dennys around here has super slow service. This one specifically has the slowest waitress/hostess! She literally took like 10 minutes to "clean" a table, we sat there for another 15 and hadn't even ordered our drinks. A big and pleasant surprise. (Coming from an anti Denny's person) we had a large party of 14. During this whole pandemic while no one wants to work Laura was our 1 and only server. We had the best service, condiments and silverware were not an issue. I hate getting my food and having to wait to get my silverware, but that was not the case with her. She yelled at him without coming to us first. Afterwards, when my son got his spaghettis they were cold, and since that day he has had a fever and has been throwing up. The area sucks, and yet the food was good, go figure. We came in, were properly greeted and promptly sat. Our waitress Vanessa looked tired and rushed, even though she had, at most, 10 people dispersed in like, 4 tables. I wasn't about to judge, because it's a saturday night, and maybe she had a shitty shift, or a crappy day, or whatever. Anyway, so she comes over, she's pleasant, takes our orders haphazardly, has to come back a few times to get our full orders, whatever. We get our food, the food is great, good portions, fresh, etc.... So yeah, that was it. What I mean by that, is that Vanessa decided our table wasn't worth waiting on anymore, and she completely stopped serving us. Our glasses were empty, nobody was around, so we had to ask the hostess to get us some water. She brought ONE glass of water for a table with 4 people. Um...Yeah, cool, so let's all stick our straws in there and fucking share it, like it's costing Denny's a fortune to distribute water to four people. We tell her we need water for everybody, and she says she's a hostess, so this isn't a part of her job...Bitch, if you work at a restaurant and you're not a janitor, guess what, it IS part of your job. Suck it up, pouring water into 4 glasses isn't going to break your fake nails. After a good 10 minutes, Vanessa hurries past us, drops our bill off (we weren't even halfway done with our food, mind you) and runs away to serve another table. Meanwhile, my boyfriend wants to order a glass of milk, and we have to ask her as she rushes past us. She then brings back a glass of milk 5 minutes later, takes the old bill and replaces it with a newer bill. Essentially, she has time to charge us, but not to wait on us. Awesome. As we got up to pay, we overheard the guy sitting behind us complaining to the manager about Vanessa, and how she charged him for something he had ordered but never received, complained about it, and got charged for it again. The manager was very nice, but it didn't make up for the lack of professionalism on her behalf. For you peanut butter and/or chocolate lovers, try the peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes, if your waitress is kind enough to not ignore you. read more

Because this is bloody Fontucky. good ol' Denny's was ready, able & willing to serve all ye hungry and sleep deprived. The coffee wasn't Klatch or Starbucks but it did it's job. It woke me up and made the kid tolerable. I had the pecan pancakes topped with banana, turkey bacon & egg whites. The food was not great but it didn't suck. This is the worst Dennys to come to, the servers or hosts hardly ever acknowledge you and they always say it'll be another 10 minutes to package the orders up. It's really slow yet it still takes forever for them to do anything. I went to this Danny's and first of all they take a lot of time to serve your food, and their chicken tenders, the my first bite of the chicken tender was chewy and salty. also I ordered Sprite but it has likes sparking water so I send it back two times but it still taste like sparkling water so then I change my order and order a Coke and Lord, behold moments later, they came back with sprite which they got from the back. but in all honesty, the fries are pretty good. and especially their ranch. read more

The manager is so rude and was so disrespectful to me when I came to do an interview and literally laughed in my face and told me that with my job experiences that I would never be able to work for them because my past jobs were not good enough. I used to spend my money here all the time when I was working in the same shopping center but after my experience with him I will never be spending another cent. Also their restrooms are always dirty. I used to come here ALL the time at all hrs of the day you could catch me at this Denny's fucking shit up. But back when I was 5-6 months pregnant (I'm full term now) I've just forgotten to share this LAST experience I've had here. Pregnancy brain.. Anyways I walked in around 4 something maybe. along with my boyfriend and his little sister. Let me cut to it , I got something out of character I usually never get I believe it was One of the cold Sandwich's.. my boyfriend got breakfast, his sister ordered chicken strips fries & broccoli for me haha.. By the end of my boyfriends meal he found a curly red strand of hair. Now me myself I have light brown hair, he has black & his sister has dark brown. No way we could have set shit up.. so now, I'm eating off lil sis plate bc broccoli is mine & there's a little black hair on the broccoli. I'm looking at the cooks , all male. None of them wearing hair nets. Some Full ass beards & no hairnets. After that I didn't even want to eat my meal. However I was going to pay for it because I touched it, I seen nothing wrong w it. And I didn't want to look like an asshole who just wanted three free meals. Cause there was no way in hell We were going to ask for replacement meals, I wasn't paying for that BS period. Ugh anyway We tell the waitress and she goes to tell the manager, It's a women I've never seen before, and she's just starts to stare at us with another waitress, I can tell she's talking shit. So now we're just eyeballing each other and I'm Waiting for common curtesy to kick in and her come to my table to apologize for the horrible experience at her Denny's. Never once did she come over just was talking and looking up at me with a face like she smelled shit. You know, I don't totally understand the reviews for this location but I'll break mine down as best as I can. After being in the hospital most of the day, and driving before that - I was welcomed immediately after I walked in with my three kids. The manager was very nice, he even grabbed extra crayons so my kids wouldn't fight. I'd say we stood maybe for a minute before being seated. Much appreciated given my hunger and exhaustion. The waitress was extremely attentive, even was understanding that I was flustered and not in the best mind so she took my kids' orders first since I was still not paying the best attention. Our food came out quickly, I ordered the sampler platter. My kids had the cheeseburger(she loved it), pancake kids slam, and French toast slam. Everyone was super happy with their food, and it looked good! Both the manager and the waitress were attentive to ask how we were, and if we needed anything. My drink wasn't even empty for more than a minute or so. Definitely a wonderful experience, and I'll happily come back if I need to! read more
