When I arrived place was empty, food was on the counter waiting for fruit to be added. Two females were chatting while prepping order not paying attention. I told them I requested whip cream and they still added it. Received order with whip cream and I told them I requested no whip cream. Younger female took my food and removed whipped cream while older over weight short dark lady proceeded to imitate me. No apologies or consideration, horrible customer service! I went to this Denny's today, usually I have a good experience here. First off the the gentlemen working the register didn't acknowledge my kids and I. He looks at the ceiling rolling his eyes and ask a waitress coming from the back to seat us. We sit down and I noticed the table was dirty and the floor was filthy with a used face mask under our table. I looked around and thought to myself do they sweep here. They took forever to bring our food and the waitress said they were waiting for my fries. I of course thought my fries would be fresh which they were for the most part but I had one cold discolored fry in the batch which was super weird. I dont know what it is but every Dennys around here has super slow service. This one specifically has the slowest waitress/hostess! She literally took like 10 minutes to "clean" a table, we sat there for another 15 and hadn't even ordered our drinks. The area sucks, and yet the food was good, go figure. We came in, were properly greeted and promptly sat. Our waitress Vanessa looked tired and rushed, even though she had, at most, 10 people dispersed in like, 4 tables. I wasn't about to judge, because it's a saturday night, and maybe she had a shitty shift, or a crappy day, or whatever. Anyway, so she comes over, she's pleasant, takes our orders haphazardly, has to come back a few times to get our full orders, whatever. We get our food, the food is great, good portions, fresh, etc.... So yeah, that was it. What I mean by that, is that Vanessa decided our table wasn't worth waiting on anymore, and she completely stopped serving us. Our glasses were empty, nobody was around, so we had to ask the hostess to get us some water. She brought ONE glass of water for a table with 4 people. Um...Yeah, cool, so let's all stick our straws in there and fucking share it, like it's costing Denny's a fortune to distribute water to four people. We tell her we need water for everybody, and she says she's a hostess, so this isn't a part of her job...Bitch, if you work at a restaurant and you're not a janitor, guess what, it IS part of your job. Suck it up, pouring water into 4 glasses isn't going to break your fake nails. After a good 10 minutes, Vanessa hurries past us, drops our bill off (we weren't even halfway done with our food, mind you) and runs away to serve another table. Meanwhile, my boyfriend wants to order a glass of milk, and we have to ask her as she rushes past us. She then brings back a glass of milk 5 minutes later, takes the old bill and replaces it with a newer bill. Essentially, she has time to charge us, but not to wait on us. Awesome. As we got up to pay, we overheard the guy sitting behind us complaining to the manager about Vanessa, and how she charged him for something he had ordered but never received, complained about it, and got charged for it again. The manager was very nice, but it didn't make up for the lack of professionalism on her behalf. For you peanut butter and/or chocolate lovers, try the peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes, if your waitress is kind enough to not ignore you. read more

So it was 4:00 am and I'm out and about with a juvenile delinquent, tired and needing a java lift and where could I go? what other choices do I have? None. And you know why? Because this is bloody Fontucky. good ol' Denny's was ready, able & willing to serve all ye hungry and sleep deprived. The coffee wasn't Klatch or Starbucks but it did it's job. It woke me up and made the kid tolerable. I had the pecan pancakes topped with banana, turkey bacon & egg whites. The food was not great but it didn't suck. A big and pleasant surprise. (Coming from an anti Denny's person) we had a large party of 14. During this whole pandemic while no one wants to work Laura was our 1 and only server. We had the best service, condiments and silverware were not an issue. I hate getting my food and having to wait to get my silverware, but that was not the case with her. This is the worst Dennys to come to, the servers or hosts hardly ever acknowledge you and they always say it'll be another 10 minutes to package the orders up. It's really slow yet it still takes forever for them to do anything. We went in and they did not greet us after we were sat no one came back to check on us. There was a server taking care of the two other tables right around us but I had to walk up to her and tell her we were ready. She said she'd be right over and never came around. The manager was also present. I went to the bathroom and when I came out the manager had said my party had left so I did too. I have never been so disappointed as tonight. Just went in to have some breakfast and the wait was not long. We were seated right away. There was a man next to us who was complaining about what he ordered. He was extremely rude to our server. I went to this Danny's and first of all they take a lot of time to serve your food, and their chicken tenders, the my first bite of the chicken tender was chewy and salty. also I ordered Sprite but it has likes sparking water so I send it back two times but it still taste like sparkling water so then I change my order and order a Coke and Lord, behold moments later, they came back with sprite which they got from the back. but in all honesty, the fries are pretty good. and especially their ranch. read more
