I used to come here ALL the time at all hrs of the day you could catch me at this Denny's fucking shit up. But back when I was 5-6 months pregnant (I'm full term now) I've just forgotten to share this LAST experience I've had here. Pregnancy brain.. Anyways I walked in around 4 something maybe. along with my boyfriend and his little sister. Let me cut to it , I got something out of character I usually never get I believe it was One of the cold Sandwich's.. my boyfriend got breakfast, his sister ordered chicken strips fries & broccoli for me haha.. By the end of my boyfriends meal he found a curly red strand of hair. Now me myself I have light brown hair, he has black & his sister has dark brown. No way we could have set shit up.. so now, I'm eating off lil sis plate bc broccoli is mine & there's a little black hair on the broccoli. I'm looking at the cooks , all male. None of them wearing hair nets. Some Full ass beards & no hairnets. After that I didn't even want to eat my meal. However I was going to pay for it because I touched it, I seen nothing wrong w it. And I didn't want to look like an asshole who just wanted three free meals. Cause there was no way in hell We were going to ask for replacement meals, I wasn't paying for that BS period. Ugh anyway We tell the waitress and she goes to tell the manager, It's a women I've never seen before, and she's just starts to stare at us with another waitress, I can tell she's talking shit. So now we're just eyeballing each other and I'm Waiting for common curtesy to kick in and her come to my table to apologize for the horrible experience at her Denny's. Never once did she come over just was talking and looking up at me with a face like she smelled shit. I should have walked out but I didn't I paid the $15 something for my meal, left and never returned. Today I wanted Denny's but instead I'm leaving this here. If you see this Denny's manager, fuck you. you're lucky I didn't cause a scene. You suck. Get some fucking hair nets! So I have never really been a Denny's person however I will still eat at any location except this one. The manager is so rude and was so disrespectful to me when I came to do an interview and literally laughed in my face and told me that with my job experiences that I would never be able to work for them because my past jobs were not good enough. I used to spend my money here all the time when I was working in the same shopping center but after my experience with him I will never be spending another cent. Also their restrooms are always dirty. The only good experience I could really say I had was with a young girl and she was super friendly and I was helped by her with 2 separate occasions and I thought she was great but that's the only thing they really have going for them. read more

You know, I don't totally understand the reviews for this location but I'll break mine down as best as I can. After being in the hospital most of the day, and driving before that - I was welcomed immediately after I walked in with my three kids. The manager was very nice, he even grabbed extra crayons so my kids wouldn't fight. I'd say we stood maybe for a minute before being seated. Much appreciated given my hunger and exhaustion. The waitress was extremely attentive, even was understanding that I was flustered and not in the best mind so she took my kids' orders first since I was still not paying the best attention. Our food came out quickly, I ordered the sampler platter. My kids had the cheeseburger(she loved it), pancake kids slam, and French toast slam. Everyone was super happy with their food, and it looked good! Both the manager and the waitress were attentive to ask how we were, and if we needed anything. My drink wasn't even empty for more than a minute or so. Definitely a wonderful experience, and I'll happily come back if I need to! read more

Bad. We came on a Sunday. It was packed but the wait time wasn't bad. We ended up staying. Regardless of being busy it shouldn't have been so dirty. They say us next to a window. It was covered in dust. Under our table was a bunch of old food getting stuck to our shoes. We waited almost an hour to get our food. I don't mind it if my food was at least fresh & warm but no it was slapped together & cold. We never got checked on until they brought us the bill. They wouldn't even take our dishes that we were done with. We just kept putting everything in a pile to make space on our table. The Omelette was tasteless. It's a bad location. The service from Karen was wonderful. I had a very long, difficult day at the hospital and I was starving. She took care of me, my cup was never less than half full, my food was piping hot, tasty, she cleared dishes as they were created, she was rocking her station and had time to talk to me and wish me well at the end of my meal. I was calling for a to go order and I had to call 3 times for them to answer the phone. I said I wanted Mac & cheese (which is on their menu) and the guy who answered the phone kept saying "nachos". I then again said macaroni and cheese. He said "if you don't want any meat or anything we call that chips and queso" (clearly there is a language barrier here) I said no, Mac and cheese is a pasta not chips! He said "hold on" I'm guessing he was gonna ask someone wtf Mac and cheese is. I'm sorry but if you hire someone to answer a restaurant phone they should know what the menu items are. Our waitress 'Vanessa' was excellent! We had a party of about 15 of us and she was extremely efficient and accommodating. It was as though there were three of her serving us. She kept our coffee cups and water glasses full all the time we were there. couldn't have asked for better service than what we got! Kudos to her for her very fine a thoroughly efficient service! Awful, awful service on May 5th 2019. Dennys has a rating of B. Place was dirty and smelled bad. I ordered the sampler. Instead of meat balls asked for salsa and chips, they were out of salsa, gave some kind of cheese. I ordered a sippy cup with the egg for $2.69, the egg did not stay on the cup at all. KEISHA, our server looked tired, however refunded us the cup, allowed my daughter to keep it. We ordered the kids menu breakfast platter, pancakes, sausage, egg, bacon, apples with carmel for desert. The pan cakes were burned, unable to eat. I have had Keisha asa waiter before, she was enthusiastic and very helpful, however last night, she looked tired and exhausted. She never once asked how the food was? Or if we are happy. I had to call her over and explain about the cup, how unhappy I am with the service. She had no words to say. Not once did she apologize, or made us feel like we would want to give this place another chnace. My bill was $13.00, I tipped her $4.00.. our family agrred to never, eat there again. I have ordered here twice because they were the only Denny's open late, and my order had been messed up both times. The first time I asked for no cheese on a veggie burger because I am lactose intolerant and my burger had cheese on it. The second time I paid $2 extra for a Beyond patty and I truly believe that I was given a meat patty because I got sick shortly after. I will NOT be ordering there again. read more

I wish I could give no stars. The staff was incredibly slow, took forever to give us menus and take our orders. Once our orders were placed our server never came back. The manager sat around chit chatting while food sat under the warmers for up to 10 minutes for the other tables. After waiting for 35 minutes without a word from an employee and watching our food sit under the heating lamps while our server walked by it time and time again we just left. I went in to pick up an order & i believe her name was OLO . Thats the name on the receipt. I walked in and she was on the phone , didnt welcome me just saw me come in. The lobby was empty. I proceeded to wait as she put the person on the phone on hold, i then told her i was here to pick up an order for so and so . She says oh yeah . Gives me the order and usually when ive gone to pick up and order they tell me whats inside the package . But she just put it on the counter and walked away. Visited this Denny's two Sunday's ago and my overall experience was excellent!! The server's were amazing food looked and tasted great! The reason for my 1 star Is because while I was leaving I was at the back of the building the manager had all the waitresses out back and he was just screaming at them. The all looked very embarrassed I even heard him say curse words!! This is absolutely no way to treat your employees whom run the business such a disgusting attitude!! If I can speak to anyone further regarding this I would be more than happy to!!! read more

They don't pick up the phone for curbside all the women inside are rude and don't acknowledge you when you're simply trying to pick up an order that has been ready. Then they missed my drink and had to go back and ask for it and they were rude about it if I could give zero stars I would. I came in to pick up a to go order for a cobb salad for my 30 minute lunch break on a Sunday afternoon back in March. It was to be ready when i got there but wasnt. Not the worst service I've ever had, but this was bad. I sat down at the countertop and waited 12 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and asked to get me a drink. While you might say "Well they didn't see you" this is false. Four of them kept going back and forth, talking, working, and doing other stuff. One, Liliana was even chatting with her manager and both women just stood there talking. Finally Liliana asked me would I like to order. When I got my food, she gave me a dirty napkin, and no silverware. I had to ask for a fork to eat my food. If you do eat here, don't have her as your server, she is terrible. That being said, there was another server there named Juan who was fantastic. He was getting his customers food, taking good care of them, working hard, and working extremely fast. I ordered and paid online for my family's breakfast while I waited in their lobby. As soon as I got the confirmation that my order was ready I went to the register. They 1st said we never placed an order. After I showed them they then said it had already been picked up. I explained there was no way as I've been sitting g there the whole time and no one has picked up food. Plus i just got confirmation that it was ready. The lady acted like she had no idea what was going on but they proceeded to make the food again. I took my order only to then find out all the bacon and sausage were missing. It was a lot since I ordered a family meal. I came back in with my bag to show them it was missing part of my order. The guy at the register asked if he can help me. I told him my order was not right. He rolled his eyes and called the same lady as before to help me. I told her my order was not right she immediately walked to the counter and brought my containers with bacon and sausage. So they knew that they didn't pack it and said nothing. Meanwhile our food got cold. I got home and had to re heat it all. This is the closest location to me but I won't be going back. read more

I understand that the place was busy on this Saturday late morning, but what is inexcusable is the lack of professionalism and attention to customers. Many times, my family had asked for refills for our coffee/water but never once did we receive it. On top of that, one family member did not receive their food until after the fact that the rest of ate. When approached with an error in the order, the server got into a verbal argument and raised their voice. Rather than reaching a conclusion, the server walked away. Toilet. I've come here twice after my doctor's appointments. Both times, ALL of the food was burnt. Yes, the eggs, hash browns, toast, even the friggin coffee tasted burnt. Service sucks. I love Denny's, but this one? Don't bother. There's another place right by it, and while the service is a little better, the food isn't. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they shared a kitchen and cook with this Denny's. I don't get it. They have a hospital right across the street, with hordes of hungry nurses, doctors, and other staff working 24/7. There isn't a decent place to eat nearby. Why is this so bad? I didn't see one person in their from Kaiser. In fact, I barely saw any customers at all, and this is near a very busy intersection, a huge hospital, and a bunch of other businesses. The manager, staff, gardener, delivery guys, anybody and everybody connected to this place should be fired, beaten, and called hurtful names. Ok, that's extreme, but you get the point. If you're hungry, go up to Corky's. It's just a few minutes away, and the food, service, everything is wonderful. I ordered 2go: Cobb salad & it came w/6 little cubes of chicken & lacked all sorts of ingredients, then checked my sandwich & it was dry small & thrown together like it was sold in a coin vending machine. Told waitress what she'd served was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE 4any restaurant to serve & it was aweful! She introduced me2 the mgr that night who actually had the nerve to proceed to look me in the eye and tell me her servings were to the standards of the Denny's Corporation⁉⁉ I told her I visited at least 50 Denny's up & down the California coast and that her food was the worst‼ I then asked her if she THOT her service was up2 corporate standards? She gave me the meanest looks... At which point I answered my own question and told her: her svc was NOT UP 2 MARKET STANDARDS‼ I sent the food back and walked out!! Restaurant not really busy at lunch time. But with a wondering manager and at least 5 servers who ALL walked over a dirty fork, spoon, napkin and crushed crayons on the floor. They ALL seen it cause I watched each one as they were passing by. LOVED watching the hostess sit on top of a table by the register playing or texting on her phone. LOVED watching a server scratch her head then touched a plate to serve a customer. I dont even know our server's name she didn't say. LOVED hearing about each servers stories of what they did on their days off..... Well, this Denny's in Fontana isnt the same.
