Always a fan of Dennys and I completely understand they're not known for being the most upscale establishment around. I typically always leave Dennys happy knowing I got what I paid for and to not set the expectation high. This Denny's however changed my mindset. The waiter only came around once to take our order and was to never be seen again. The place isn't even that big and it was only at half capacity. Food took over 40 minutes to get as the establishment isn't that big. We chose this location as it appeared to be easy to get in and out of off the highway (in which it wasn't). Yes the parking lot was large, but it did not feel safe at all with the traffic/people that were walking through it. It was in November and I ordered their turkey meal. I was served all of the blubber off the turkey and it wasn't even edible. read more

For the price that they charge for a brisket sandwich, it was very disappointing. Soggy bread, eggs and "brisket"...which apparently means big chunks of poor quality fat...gross! Normally, I like their food but this was unmanageable. I don't usually leave food on my plate, but did for this train wreck. The service at this location is the best. I love seeing higher ups helping out their team. The service is always good. We went for a late night pancakes and fries date. It had been quite some time the last time we came. The menus were updated and had a lot of selections. New sections on the menus too. Our pancakes were really good and fries too. We did realize the portion of fries was much smaller. Overall this Denny's is always a good choice! It's right off the 99 south. read more

Used to come here often years ago for breakfast and late night dinner. Was craving late night breakfast and decided to order some pancakes and a moons over my hammy plate. They allowed inside dinning and they also have a tent outside for outdoor. I used their online ordering system for pick up. 2 orders of cinnamon pancake, 3 orders of regular butter milk pancakes (all comes with 2 pancakes). I added special instructions to put the whip cream on the side for the cinnamon and that was done as instructed. I got an email confirmation saying my order will be done in 20 mins. Arrived at the restaurant at the exact time. There was a few people waiting, waited about 2 mins to get helped. We got greeted and our order was waiting on the counter ready to get bagged. I asked if everything was there and the lady said yes and normally I would double check my order by I decided to trust her... bad mistake, got home 10 mins later to find I was missing an order of butter milk pancakes, called the restaurant and they said they would make another, drove back and got it. The cinnamon pancakes really satisfied my cravings, the moons over my hammy was okay the hash browns could have been cooked alittle bit more. I came here with my family and the food was good and all, BUT after we ordered our food with the guy in glasses,curly hair and everything they brought the food and they had forgot my dad's order even though he was the first one that ordered the food. i would give this dennys 0 stars if i could. i came here with my boyfriend on a Wednesday morning and it was fairly empty when we arrived. we ordered our food around 9:25 am and then we noticed more and more people coming in. we waited about 15 minutes and our server hadnt came to check on us once or update us on the status of our food. all the other tables that were sat around and after us were already eating their food so we checked the time and it was almost 10 am. we had been waiting for our food for over 30 minutes and our server didnt stop by to check on our table once. she was actually avoiding us once we brought up how long we were waiting for our food to the hostess since we couldnt get ahold of anyone else. at 10:10 we just up and left without even getting our food and on the way out of server FINALLY told us "are you sure? your food is almost done" we just declined and left the building to go eat somewhere else. read more

I could go to a closer Denny's for late night studying, but I go out of my way because the servers here are legit. Carlee and Amanda are two servers who regularly go above and beyond. Sure, it's at Jensen/99, so you may consider another Denny's in better parts out of town, but this is a great spot to come, hang out, do homework, and have great service. I drive a lot at night, and Denny's is usually always open, so I've eaten at a lot of Denny's. I had an extra positive experience at this one in particular. Went at 4am on a Wednesday. The waitress was friendly and cool. She didn't seem like a typical 4am waitress at all who hates that you're there and wishes she didn't have to serve you. I was checked up on frequently, and she just had that really "kind" tone to her voice that some people have. The food came really fast, and was better than I thought Denny's food COULD be. Well....what can I say. I've eaten at Dennys across the US. Sort of boring but functional. Usually know what to expect so I order only the mainstream items on the menu. Had the classic burger w/cheese and fries with a cup of coffee. For some reason they do not want to give you a second cup. Even when I am sitting at the counter and the pass by me every 5 seconds! And this is at 11pm when only 6-7 people were in the place. Anyways, the burger was dry and bread hard and the fries were soggy. The coffee was fresh and hot....Even the second cup which I had to plead for! Service was OK....A bit vacant and detached, but I was not going there to make friends.... I have had worse. Stopped here with the family on our way back to OC from a visit to Yosemite. Typically Denny's are iffy and sometimes questionable but this one was great! Clean, fast service, kids eat free, and our server Sonia was fantastic! Definitely recommend as a great stop with the fam. read more

Slowest.Dennys.EVER. We decided to stop at Denny's on the way down to So Cal because it would be fast and pretty cheap (every experience at Denny's has been that way). When we first arrived, we were not greeted at the door by anyone, waited several minutes, and finally decided to seat ourselves at the tabletop dining area. I got our family our own menus and waited approx 5 minutes until a waitress approached us. After we ordered we literally waited for our food for an HOUR. In the meantime of waiting for our food, we watched dish after dish being placed on the counter waiting to go out, and not be touched. I saw one dish sit on the counter for over 14 minutes before a waitress took it out to the customer it belonged to. I definitely learned a lesson-if I'm ever in the area, go across the street to one of the many fast food restaurants in the same area, and don't waste my time or money at this Denny's. read more
