we stopped in to have breakfast, I ordered the Santa Fe Sizzle, chorizo with scrambled eggs and potatoes. My husband ordered 2 pancakes, 2 bacon and 2 eggs over medium. The chorizo on my dish was so burnt it was black and I ordered my scrambled eggs to be medium as I don't like overcooked eggs. The eggs were brown (burnt) My husband was eating his pancakes and as he was about halfway through them, he had raw, pancake batter. The "cook" really should learn how to cook. The food was really bad, not the waitress , but the cook. They took 15% off the chorizo breakfast. Nothing reduced for raw pancakes. It has been a long time since we've been to Denny's. So I have come to this location twice and the staff has been super friendly and always accommodating with any food or menu request that I may have. Today I went in and Cynthia was my server and she was sweet, attentive ands was able to split my gf and I's meal on two plates and didn't hesitate or question the request. What a mistake I made coming here to eat! Very unorganized as the servers seemed a bit lost though friendly. It took a while before we were noticed and given a table. I really find fault in the "cook" as the food was terrible! I was so disappointed!everything was over cooked and greasy! My bacon was literally in a ball! two stringy pieces all stuck together. my scrambled eggs were like rubber, the hash browns sat in thin grease. The pancakes weren't that bad but really small. My daughter ordered the build your own appetizer which was way over fried. She also ordered the Pancake puppies that resembled lumps of Charcoal. I made an online order from the Denny's Website. At 10:20pm. It said 18-23 minute pick up time. I showed up at 10:40pm to inquire about my order. I waited in line for 5 minutes and then asked about my order. The server went over to the kitchen window repeatedly asking for a Guest Order for Kristie, came back a bit later and said my order was not ready at all. There was a problem with the order. I ordered a burger and fries, a sampler with mozzarella sticks, chicken strips and onion rings, and a side salad with avocado and chicken strips. She tells me my order wasn't made because they are out of chicken strips, onion rings and avocado. They had 20 minutes to contact me after I placed my order, to call me and tell me about the problem and they didn't. I asked for a refund because my order wasn't complete, they didn't offer any kind of substitutions, or any way to make the order work for me. I asked to speak with a manager and the server left and came back and said, my manager said to just get your name and phone number. I said no, please let me speak with your manager. The manager came out and just stared me down, she didn't say anything at first just gave me a glare. I said hey, I want to cancel my order and would like a refund and some type of receipt that proves my order is cancelled and a refund is on the way. She told me "that's not how it works." That she couldn't give me any receipt or proof, that she would just cancel it and I wouldn't see a refund for a few days. She asked for my name and I spelled it out for her, and she still spelt it wrong, and wouldn't even take my last name. Only wrote Kristy and my phone number ***-***-****. I said do you need my confirmation number? She said no. I said was mine the only online order? How will you know who to cancel and refund? We will go by The name and phone number. The name she spelt wrong. And no last name. To say that I am disappointed with the service, the hospitality and the manager is an understatement. I should have been able to get some kind of proof of refund transaction. I should have been able to give my full, correct name at the least to make myself feel like I can trust that they really are going to cancel my order. They dropped the ball, wasted my time, took my money for an order they never made or ever could fulfill. This place is terrible. Do Not Order Online. They will not communicate with you. read more

My husband and I came to Dennys one early morning to have our breakfast date, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was Nancy, she was pretty awesome from begining to end of our visit. She made sure we were enjoying our mels and made sure we were okay with our coffee which at first wasnt good, she changed it without any hesitaion. After a 5-month hiatus from eating at this Denney's due poor everything (lack of food, waitresses who ignore customers, long wait times, etc.), we decided once again to give it a shot. Bad decision. Nothing has changed! They still had no soup, no fried chicken anything, no creamer for coffee, no country gravy, no gravy for the chicken bowl, and no grapes. And those were just the items we wanted to order. We also waited 90 minutes for our food. Arrived at 8pm and was served around 9:30pm and still didn't receive all food items that came with our entree. Got tired of waiting for the rest of our dinner, paid the bill, and left after 30 minutes of waiting. Also, we were told they ran out of soup, but before we left, 4 other customers sitting next to us were served soup. Hmmm... Side note: We did go there after the Christmas Parade so we were expecting a little longer wait time, but with 4 cooks, we didn't think we'd have to wait 90 minutes! They didn't appear to have line cook experience. You could see they were unorganized and the food was not consistent. My son's club sandwich had a 1" pile of turkey and a pile of ham about the same size, while my daughter's Super Bird, had one slice of turkey. Sadly, this will be the last time we eat at this Denney's. Hopefully, they'll get organized, hire great people, and start becoming the restaurant they should be. Good luck! read more

We also got a marinara sauce that looked like it was another customer's and they didn't want it and they reused it, because it was coagulated. I had not been to Dennys for years, so comparing it back to 2002 going to the Dennys when it was on the corner of Lacey and 12th Avenue. I used to order the club a lot and as an easy go to I ordered this again. I completely understand them going to a healthy alternative the once white toasted bread it's now a toasted multigrain bread. That was good however it was the contents that were lacking. As well as the amount of sandwich. I would not be a pose to joining someone for a meal there but it definitely will not be my choice of eatery. For me and my 4 year old it was around $27.00. read more

I have eaten at many Denny's restaurants and never had to many issues but here I was ready to get in noticing it was busy and was willing to wait. The waitresses there gave me a cold vibe saying that the wait was going to be 35 to 40 before giving us the wait time to be seated. And with that attitude of anticipating that we would leave before even considering that we would stay was rude to me. I seen that they have a Yelp request for us to make a review. Well I have to say that I am fairly disappointed with this place so I could not stay to be seated and I left. Good service, clean, amazing food. I love everything about this place except the waitresses and the manager! If you'd notice, several waitresses have tattoos, I'd rather not have gang members handle my food. And the manager has a nasty attitude, he's nice to his employees but not to customers.
