Just want to say thank you so much for such a great service in such a busy day.. everyone as soon as we walked in were greeted and quote us a time.. manger was table touching through out my visit, server that wasn't his station pass by and pick up our empty plates, Gabby our server was on point with refills and checking back on us.. just wanted to say thank you.. plates were on point and hot when arrived to our table.. what a great team and team effort.. so organized.. once again thank you so much.

I have been so impressed with the Dennys in Selma. That we decided to give our own Denny's here in Hanford a visit to see if they were as good. Now I have not eaten here in 8 years I wanna say. That was the last time bcz the place was so bad. But the past year I have eaten at the Selma location and a couple of locations in Arizona and they are really good. So I've been wanting to give our local restaurant a try after 8 years. Walking in the place just does not feel clean. Idk what it is. But it just felt dingy. Maybe bcz of the crayon marks on the walls? Our table we were guided to was not clean. Neither was the seats. Dishes on other tables were just sitting there. However the staff was very nice and polite. This was the dinner hours. So we normally have breakfast at Dennys. So I knew going in it might be different. It didn't take long to decide what we wanted to eat and gave our server our orders. The food came pretty quickly and it looked pretty good. I was however aghast that the lady that brought us our food placed my food in front me then reaches over me and hands my wife her plate. I was like dam her body came real close to my food. It was so unprofessional. However I will say she was an excellent server. With the exception of this incident. I mean her boobs could have squished my burger. That's how close it looked. I had the bourbon burger and my wife had like a chicken bourbon concoction. It looked like a mish mash of stuff going on with a couple of chicken breasts on top. She said it was pretty tasty. So ok. The bourbon burger I had was actually good. It was definitely making up for the first impressions I was having coming in here. After eating we ordered a couple of slices of cheesecake with strawberries to go. This lady that almost squished my burger really hooked it up on the cheesecake. She loaded it up with strawberries. She really went the extra mile. I believe her name was Jessie. I asked the young man at the register her name and I believe I got it correct. Overall the staff was very good. The food? Eh I'd say it was so so. But hey. It's Dennys. Right? Idk about that kind of thinking. Bcz the Selma Dennys is amazing hands down! So it's all about the management. Just because this is a chain restaurant doesn't mean the good can't be good. It's all about the people caring about their craft. From being a server to being a cook. So idk if we will be back. I'm not gonna say this location isn't good. But they really are under staffed. So I'll probably stick to Dennys in Selma.

Funny thing is we almost went to Farmer Bros across the street (I think that's what it's called), but were all pretty hungry and didn't want to be disappointed. We chose Denny's because it was a "sure thing". This is laughable, in hindsight. It was a terrible experience. Party of 5. All orders were incorrect (except 1 - kids meal). 2 people sent their food back because they included food items that couldn't be consumed (ie. meat for a vegetarian, & ham for someone who doesn't eat pork). The others, though dissatisfied, just ate the incorrect orders. Myself included. My food was terrible. I mean, look at the skillet (pictured). The food didn't taste fresh. Everything was cold. There were hardly any potatoes. I'm not sure why someone would deliver anything that looks like this to a table. On top of that, all employees were either unmasked or improperly masked -- below the nose, and sometimes even under the chin. This was true for employees on the floor -- at check-in, the waitresses/waiters, bussers and kitchen staff. Super disappointing.

These were supposed to be chocolate hush puppies, but they were so burnt and poorly made. We couldn't even eat them.

Worst Denny's dine in experience we've ever had. Racist vibes from the moment we walked in the door ! They brought us burnt and raw food that looked like they did it on purpose then had the nerve to give us a 10% discount on the food that we didn't even eat because it was so bad, and which we would've gotten the 10% discount anyways with the military discount. We will never return to this Denny's again. Waste of time and a waste of money. Very disappointing!

Been coming here every late late night, and they really serve up amazing breakfast!!! The Philly cheesesteak omelet is amazing! Nate ALWAYS MAKES IT A GOOD AMOUMT.. huge omelette!!!! I decided to choose the grand slam from the menu I picked four items I chose the scrambled eggs bacon hashbrowns and pancakes I believe I paid 11.99 for this. It was a little bit of food I thought it would be more. The hash browns were a bit cold in the middle and the pancakes were dry. I still ate it because I was really hungry. I had a great visit and the entire staff was very friendly. I especially wanted to mention Jaden our server who came back to refresh beverages and check on us several times and every time with a smile ! Also , Jessica M. very helpful and friendly. The food was yummy and hot . We had the veggies omelet and it came with a huge side of fresh cut up fruit . We were with two toddlers and they made sure to offer them the crayons and our food came out quickly! read more

A wonderful visit to Dennys last month. In the future though the cooks should know we would much rather receive cold toast than toast they tried to keep warm on a hot plate which made it hard all the way through and inedible...Although the food itself wasn't 5 star, Jennifer our server was absolutely amazing! Felt like how service used to be years ago when everyone was personable and treated you like family. We will absolutely return not necessarily for the food, but more so for the amazing care and treatment we received from Jennifer. Angela was our server 2/10 for breakfast. It was my husbands birthday. She took such great care of us, ensuring our drinks were refilled, we have what we need and that we were happy. Also the eggs Benedict with chorizo is the bomb!! Angela ensured I had plenty of hollandaise sauce too! read more

There is this one specific server named Vanessa. She was very rude and made me feel super uncomfortable she was nonstop yelling at her poor coworkers blaming everyone else but made herself seem so perfect. I don't wish that on anyone to be working with this one coworker. She slammed so many things in front of me well i was sitting at the bar just trying to enjoy a nice meal with my brother in law. read more

Best in-person experience at any hour at this location. All the servers are great but honestly if you come on a night Erick is here he never ceases to impress with his service but the accuracy. Will always be my favorite late night dinning place in the Hanford/Lemoore area! Will always return here. read more

I enjoy coming to the Hanford Denny's for breakfast on the weekends when I am working in this area. All the people who work here, like my server Jessica seem much to enjoy their work, and the senior omlette with the redskinned potatoes couple with same juice and great coffee just make this a great recharge respite from my work! I've been going here for years, it's been mostly good experiences. Every now and then it's a hit or miss depending on who's working there. One time I ordered a cobb salad and it didn't have eggs in it. This time, I ordered an original grand slam and there was a hair in it. Yuck! It didn't seem like mine. read more

Denny's in Hanford Ca I was very disappointed and Dissatisfied with the service of server Felicity. She took over 20 minutes to take our order and she attended the people who were seated after us before us. The only reason why she attended us when she did is because the couple dinning next to us told her to take our order first. She didn't even give us our drinks until after we were already eating And when we asked for straws she took like 5+ minutes just to bring it. We were never asked if we needed anything else or if everything was okay instead When we were done with our drinks instead of asking us if we wanted a refill all she did was look at our empty cups then looked at me and walked away before we could even ask for a refill. If I could give negative stars I would. I'm sure the other people she was serving were disappointed in her service too. read more

Me and my boyfriend came here and the food quality was terrible. On the breakfast menu I got the crepe platter and everything tasted disgusting. My boyfriend got a burger and it was dry, crumbly, and had no seasoning at all. The staff was very friendly, it was just the quality of the food that will cause us not to go back. read more

Over last few visits to my favorite highschool 1am hangouts, I've come to realize that the service and portions are very inconsistent. I walk through the door not greeted by waitresses at times to receiveing inconsistent portions and food qualities. Water and sodas here have a chlorine taste to them and not to mention hot chocolate mugs aftermath looks like a pack of Swiss Miss dropped in hot water...not worth $3.00. I will say that the crew at least keeps eating area rather neat. Be aware that substitutions for something will be denied or half-assed. read more

The food was just as you would expect Denny's food to be! The cooks were on it with their timeliness, we couldn't believe how fast the food came out. Lynette, our server, was incredible. She catered to our every need, thought ahead when I brought up recent food aversions, and was just all around pleasant. So much so that we almost miss her now that we are gone! Haha. Was literally waiting 30 minutes for someone to asked us if we had been helped walked away and waited another 10 minutes and people that had just came in were already getting their order taken. Bunch of employees standing around talking amongst each other. Lack of customer service will not return. They get one star just so this review can post. read more

I have to say we came on a Sunday and we had no wait time. My daughter noticed that all the employees where smiling and the service wasn't bad considering how busy they were. May our server was quick to keep the ice teas full and bring a box for leftovers. The only negative thing I can say is that one of our orders of toast was a little dark and without butter but I'm sure they would have corrected it if we mentioned it. Seems like they have a good team with terrific attitudes. Keep up the great work Denny's!! read more

This place is trash, servers don't listen and if they get your order right it's not very good anyway. I miss the location on 12th and Lacey so much. I know if it's late your options are limited but seriously try to find something else like the "the star restaurant" for breakfast. It was dead when I was here and they couldn't even handle 4 customers. Every person I saw walk in I felt bad for. Never coming back! read more

The server was sweet but after driving home (30 minutes away) we noticed the one of the foods was wrong and the other was missing stuff. I got the boneless wings and onion rings but instead received bone in wings. We also ordered a slam and got no syrup no butter no nothing (maybe it's extra?) either way, definitely no more curbside to go for us. read more

The hash browns were also poor quality -- it looked like damaged parts of the potatoes had been chopped up and cooked instead of being trimmed off. There were pieces in them that really should not have been served. I even took a picture of one piece that appeared black. Very disappointing compared to my first experience.

Sort of like a pupusa without a filling. I can tell there was corn meal in it. I ordered the hibiscus tea. It was tasty and refreshing. One of my dining companions ordered a dish that was as somewhat similar to a chile relleno, only filled with ground beef and without cheese. It was tasty and savory, but had no heat, no chiles. It was a little awkward for me, because had no expectations of what to expect. The meat was a little salty, and tasted good. The serving portions were of good size. I do like the heat of Mexican food, so I was a little disappointed the El Salvadoran food isn't. Next time, illstick to the pupusas. Service was attentive.

This place needs to work on their time it takes to serve food. I understand that it can get busy at times, but waiting at the table for almost an hour and a half is ridiculous. I honestly dont even know why I waited that long. The waitress got us our drinks and told us the other waitress would be there shortly to take our order. It was getting to a point where we were getting desperate for our food and we insisted on having someone take our order. It was almost 45 mins that had gone by and no one stepped foot on our table. We asked and still the same response was given, "they'll attend you shorty". At that time we figured we should just get up and leave. That is exactly what we did, we obviously payed for our drinks and left. Not one employee said a word to us to show they are sorry for making us wait so long. Overall, this place is delicious and I love coming here all the time. I'm sure this has not only happened to me, but to others too. Last night my family and I dined at the Denny's in Hanford, CA and we had exceptional timely service from our server Brendon. Immediately after being seated we noticed a young man working hard, helping customers seated at table, booths and the counter. He was getting coffee, bringing out drinks, taking orders, clearing tables and delivering prepared food to his guests. This kid was working his butt off. We visit this location often as it is right off the freeway, easy to get to, offers a military discount and the staff are always friendly. Good job Brendon, keep up the good work that you are doing for this Denny's location. The Manager on duty this evening was Jessy - good job goes out to you as well for training your personnel correctly to ensure they are delivering top notch customer service in a timely fashion. My husband and I come to Dennys a lot as I am a hug fan of the chocolate lava cake and seasoned fries. Although we usually only order deserts and small sides, we are usually waiting at the door for a few minutes and after we have been sat, it takes a server about 5 minutes to come even ask what we would like to drink. The servers are all very friendly but MOST never seem to be working together. Last night we had Sarina Z as our server for the first time and our experience could not have been better. She was fast, friendly, and just overall good at her job. Not once did we have empty cups on our table. Not once did we have to ask for anything. It's like she knew what we needed and when LOL. We will definitely be coming back and requesting that Sarina be our server. Awesome job, girl! read more

Went in Monday morning to a packed house at Dennys but was quickly greeted by the hostess who sat us almost immediately. Despite how busy it was I was I was quickly served by a young man named Isaac he took my order and had my drinks back so quick I couldn't believe it considering he had so many tables also attending too. He and another young man were taking care of every table in there and working together. The other young man Juan came and delivered my food for me to get me my food hot he said and almost right after Isaac came back to make sure my food was to my liking and everything I asked for. My husband asked me out to breakfast this morning so we arrived at the Hanford Location. The server assigned to us was very nice and always asked if we needed anything. The food was taking a while but not nothing out of an ordinary busy afriday morning. My 1 year old began to be fussy because she wanted her meal. Server Isaac was kind enough to offer a snack for her while the food arrived. Isaac was also kind enough to make small talk to her and assured her food would be out shortly. Over all the experience was great and we will be nack to this location with out a doubt. Isaac sure does know how to make customers feel comfortable and you can tell he is a people person right away. God words can't explain how much I used to love Denny's. The only times I went to Denny's was at like 12:00 and I was a usual and it was just amazing. I would always order cheesecake and water. The cheesecake is absolutely magnificent and life changing. The water is really good too it's not AS cold as i'd like but everything else makes up for it. Also the fries are a side me and my fellow dudes and the fries are great and an amazing side for the cheesecake. Absolutely amazing. Jessica started today at 7, we came in at 8. Her eyes were bright and ready for the day ahead. She greeted us with heart, I'm glad we came in this early and she was our waitress. My group plays d&d every Saturday. We occupy a corner booth and try to behave. None of our individual homes could accommodate the claustrophobics in our group. This is our go-to spot because of it^_^ . Usually our service is reasonable, but with so many other customers in the restaurant my cups often dont get filled. I understand, but tonight the service was exceptional, even with so many people, our server Brendan never let my cups go empty! I'm peculiar about things like not getting margarine on my toast as well, enough so that I would assume he'd be unhappy with me or my group, but he was cheerful with us all! My best friend Baylie and I frequent this Denny's a lot. We go at least once a week, if not twice. The thing that keeps us coming back, besides the fact it's one of the few 24hr places in town, is the service our favorite waitress, Jasmine, provides. Jasmine makes our midnight dinners so much fun, cracking jokes with us while tending to our every need. She has an unbelievable sense of urgency and keeps the rest of the team on their toes when they're slacking off. She's even bothered to memorize our orders down to the pink sugar packets Baylie puts in her iced tea. Someone ought to give that hard-working woman a raise! My husband and I went to this location for a Saturday breakfast. Their outdoor dining set up is by far the best set up we have seen a Denny's offer during the covid-19 restrictions. You can tell they put a lot of thought and time into their outdoor area. And the food and service was great! Our server Jessy-E was on point with her customer service, coffee refills, and keeping our table clear of empty plates. And she was busy because all her tables were taken and this didn't seem to affect her good service. We frequently like to stop by Dennys when we are traveling. The food is usually acceptable and the prices are reasonable. Saturday we stopped by the Dennys in Hanford. We have noticed that this Dennys is always packed. What dally made this visit exceptional was our server, Angela. She greeted us quickly, took our orders and immediately served us our drinks. She is a server by the name of Nila and has been a server here for as long as I can remember and she has always been the best of the best. She is attentive, quick, nice as can be. City is the name of the server I've had the last two days. She is extremely polite, and although under the mask, she has an amazing smile shining through. We went to this location and they had one side of restaurant almost completely filled up. The other side empty. I asked if we could be seated in the empty side due to the noise level on the other side (I had a migraine). Theresa, our Server, was kind and spoke to her manager about allowing us to be seated in the other side. It was really kind of them to allow us to and am grateful. This was probably one of the best Dennys restaurants I've been too, the service was nice, the waiters were very friendly, and the food was amazing! The only thing I was upset about was that when we were seated at our table there were no silver ware, when our coffee got brought to us that's when we got or forks,spoons,and knives. Wednesday afternoon my husband and I went in to grab something to eat we haven't been in awhile, my husband ordered a burger and onion rings and for myself a country-fried steak and eggs and hasbrowns (with cheese and bacon WOW).
