If I could give this Dennys a 0 stars I would. My family and I just left this location. It's the worst one I've been to this far. The waitress sat us down and we waited about 15 mins and I told her we were ready to order and she responded "hold on hun I have a table ahead of you" and walked away. It's not worth it. Don't order any fries I counted all of the fries they gave me because the quantity was shit. They gave me 11 fries. 11!!!!! It was 11$ for them to give me a small ass sandwich and 11 fries?? Wtf nah it's not worth it it's worth driving to any other Denny's just not This one this Denny's will be hearing from me and my lawyer because the pricing of my meal is unacceptable and unconstitutional. We come here regularly and really enjoy this location. It's always clean and the servers are friendly. Food is consistently delicious. Over the past few years that we've been coming here we've never had a problem with the food or servers. We Love the 2,4,6,8 menu! Kids eat free tues & sat nights! Well it's not consistent for sure.We hadn't been to Denny's for at least 6 years. Then went while having our home floors redone May 28th. Had the crepes. And they were pretty and delicious. So we took some company to try the crepes on June 9th. Not pretty. Flat and messy looking. Did taste okay. But disappointing. Plus the girl who brought our food was snappy with my husband when he asked about the crepes. I think we'll pass on this place for awhile again. read more

They are great at making sure that you wait 45+ minutes for your food not to mention that they don't acknowledge you when you are first seated.. it took the sever to acknowledge us after we asked about anyone coming to our table to take our order.. no communication in regards to our food coming out until once again I questioned them about it!! Went in to get my Dad his free build your own slam to celebrate Veterans Day. Sad that no one said thank you for your service. Food was okay. Mom and I shared a lumberjack slam. I'm only giving this place 3 stars because I keep coming back to eat despite the bad service. The food is usually always good and the $2 $4 $6 $8 menu keeps me coming back for breakfast on a pinch. The service though is horrible and it's not just here but at every Dennys. I think they train their employees to be rude. Anyways, last time I came they were busy so I understand they were accommodating guests eating but they failed at greeting waiting guests. I waited about 10min while the "host" cashed out 3 ppl and never once looked up to say "I'll be right with you" or to even acknowledge my presence. Place was almost empty, yet multiple tables sat dirty the whole time we were there.  Server (1) was busy chatting with friend at counter.  Came and got our order.  Unable to make smoothies as machine was "broken" we were told.  We ordered milk shakes and they were made with syrup flavoring.  It clung to the sides and ice cream was a lump in the bottom of the glass...asked for ice tea spoon to stir it up...they don't have any.  Stirred with my knife.  Scrambled eggs were brown, dry and crusty; toast was not toasted...butter bread.  Hamburger was so greasy left a pool of grease on the plate.  Was told their milk shake machine is broken and new one does not blend the fruit.  Waitress called an order to the one cook in the kitchen and waitress had to repeat it three times for the cook to understand she wanted cheese sticks.  Big communication problem!  Then waitress asked if we would be paying with cash or credit since their cash register was now broken also.  Never, ever, ever going back there again.  Would not advise anyone to eat there.  Terrible experience!  Food was poor quality!  Service was way below par...they acted like they didn't care! read more

Went in and ordered take out because their phones weren't working. It was not a good experience. The employee licked her fingers to open the to-go bag. DISGUSTING!! As my parents were leaving with the to-go order, my dad witnessed the employee drinking the rest of my milkshake that could've easily fit in the cup! When you pay $5.49 for a milkshake, you expect to get the whole thing. Got home and they messed up the order (My order is wrong every time). Ive been here three times over the last 6 months and every time the service is slower then a box of snails snailing around. Some servers are nice others can be a bit nicer. The food really sucks....what happened to the Dennys I once new and loved? Where you could get a good meal for decent price with decent portion sizes? I came here expecting a cheap..middle of the road breakfast. This is what Denny's usually provides...so here is where it went wrong There are times in a mans life that he looks back in regret..he looks at himself in the mirror and does not like what he sees... This was how I felt after eating my "breakfast". My chicken fried steak looked like the coaster that my grandma makes me use when enjoying a beverage at her house..the eggs were runny ..so were my stools after this encounter. SO! I work graveyard in kingsburg, and Denny's is the ONLY place open! So my co workers and I tried to call in our order and for some reason the call kept on getting cut off! We kept on calling, then STEVEN finally answered, and said that we were prank calling and we tried to explain to him that the call kept on getting cut off! So he hung up. My co worker attempted to go into Denny's around 2:30 am and STEVEN said he wasn't going to serve him because he was "messing" with him. Clearly my co worker just wanted to order food. STEVEN made a huge scene in front of other customers which was embarrassing. He also said he was going to call the police on my co worker. SO unnecessary. Plus when we actually went he wasn't even inside? He was outside the restaurant?? All I know is that I was VERY unhappy with STEVEN and I won't be going for a while. I'll start packing my lunch and eating at work rather than wasting my time on a a rude irrelevant worker that probably hates his job. read more

My experience at this dennys was over all horrible. Our waiter was rude and my pancakes were burnt. When I went to go pay for our food I asked the host, Zachary, if they were doing anything for Veterans Day and he said no Veterans Day was yesterday on the 10th. I said oh okay that's fine I was just asking because today is actually Veterans Day. Zachary said no it was yesterday and my fiancé that is a veteran told him it is November 11th and Zachary continued to argue with us . I found this to be extremely poor customer service. The point is don't argue with the customer. I didn't care if we got a free meal it is just the fact He was arguing with us. The host there needs a different job that isn't customer service. We have to travel to Sacramento from LA every weekend because of work. We always stop at a Denny's to eat and rest for a little while before we continue our long drive back to LA. Unfortunately, this particular visit on 9-26-16 was not very pleasant. We were pulling a car so instead of one parking spot we had to take two because there were two vehicles. Three waitress even before we went in the restaurant were sitting on the counter watching us, when we finally came inside their only worry was that we were taking two parking spots (when the whole parking was empty). They did not greet us to come in one of them from her sitting position scram to us telling us we could not take two spots. We didn't even go inside anymore we left to eat at the Carl's Jr thats across the street. Horrible experience. Instead of inviting the people in they chase the customers away with their bad attitude. I was in the food industry for 15 years and that is not at all good service. If that was not enough they even called the police claiming we were obstructing the passage. We went during lunch. My girlfriend ordered soup and I ordered their pecan pancakes, or at least that is what I thought I ordered. They got my oder wrong. I wanted to try them because it was supposed to have wheat pancakes. Well they gave me other pancakes and took awhile to get my oder "right" they made regular pancakes with pecans. The waitress said they ran out of the wheat pancakes. I wish they would have told us before they made them. After lunch we got our bill and they gave us the wrong tab. I won't be going back. read more
