I haven't been to a Danny's in a long time and decided to give it a try. As we walked in, we were greeted right away. The hostess was very nice, friend, and walked us to our table right away. We didn't have to wait too long before our server came over to take our beverage order shortly after she took our dinner order. Our dinner came after about 15 minutes, not too bad. The food was as expected comfort food!!! I had chicken fried chicken, red skin mashed potatoes, and corn. The chicken was great; the mashed potatoes had good flavor but a little thinner than I've had, and the corn was sweet. I'd order it again for sure. The restaurant is dated but clean, there is plenty of parking and they have hand sanitizer throught out the establishment.

I would not even rate this place 1 start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The manger Raul was very inconsiderate when my daughter chipped her tooth due to the fork being bent. I contacted upper management Brandon and it was awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lady that contacted me would not give me her first name all she gave me was her last name which she said was Singh. No wonder it was hard to understand her and furthermore she would not provide me with an address so I can file a small claims. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Oliver should really consider ALL NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! before a major lawsuit is submitted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was promised a return call and that was in May. As of today's date August 5th, I have yet to received one. That goes to show how AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is and is also managed!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER give them my business and I HIGHLY recommend no one does either!!!!!!!! read more

Horrible service. Didn't bring a kids menu to the table so bad to grab someone's attention for that.. Then, I had to ask three times for someone to come take our order. They didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink. They were very rude and sitting around not busy and not working. No silverware on the table, nobody doing there job. Do not go there read more

My husband and I really enjoy Denny's. Until we decided to try the Kingsburg store. The parking lot looks like it belongs in front of an abandoned building. Inside, just as ugly. We were seated quickly. Ordered quickly. After that, it was all downhill. When our food finally came, we had no silverware. The waitress said she'd be right back with the rest of my order and silverware. I'm watching her get them, then she's asking the kitchen for my pancakes. She finally gets them and she proceeds to walk around talking behind the counter to other waiters holding my pancakes. She realizes she has my food and decides to deliver it. My hash browns are cold by then &the strawberries are still frozen from the freezer. I get halfway through my pancakes and there is raw batter in the middle. My waitress is gone. We never see her again. I flag down a waiter and he apologizes and I refuse new ones. The only good thing is that he discounts my check $5.00. I couldn't get out faster! The only good reviews for this place must be made by employees. Don't even bother if you want a good meal because you won't find it here. read more

This Denny's location had an amazing staff on a busy Sunday morning. I was able to be seated, order and eat quickly. The waitress was fast and friendly. The one thing I noticed and appreciated was who hard the team was working to make sure all their customers had there drinks refilled and food to the table as soon as it was done. Also the prices are always reasonable. read more

This is the second time in a month we have tried eating at the Denny's in Kingsburg, CA and we've been disappointed both times. Last time there was at a busy dinner hour, only 2 wait staff (manager and a waitress). The cook either left or went on break, the manager and waitress went in the kitchen to cook and were giggling and visiting while everyone waited for drinks, refills, food, etc. All customers were very unhappy. We decided to give them another chance. Tonight, only one waitress working (Kelly). Trying to keep up with six tables fo guests, phone ringing, people coming in, etc. and only one cook in the kitchen. She was doing a great job but at 5:30/6:00 (the dinner hour) there should be more than one waitress. Food was mediocure at best (onion rings burned, mozzarella sticks half cooked and cold). As we were leaving it looked as if the manager from our first visit had come in but was not in working clothes and not working, just looking around at the situation. Then another waitress was coming in the door as we walked out. Pathetic, chaos! We travel over 3,000 miles every year on vacation across country and this is the absolute worst Denny's we have encountered. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. Even McDonalds is better than this! read more

They don't even deserve one star. Do NOT come here. Save yourself the trouble of the manager yelling at cooks, waitresses acting like you don't exist and just all around poor customer service. Apparently what you're supposed to do is just get a to-go order, you'll get your food fast that way. They had taken three to-go orders AFTER they took our order. 30 mins goes by, to-go orders being filled and we have no food. The manager, Kelly is yelling at cooks, tables around us getting food, 45 mins.. to-go orders are filled and given away, no food. This whole time our waitress is acting like we aren't there. An hour later we get told our food us coming by said waitress. More waiting, more waiting.... THEN THE TABLE WHO ORDERED AFTER US GOT FOOD. That was the last fucking straw. We walked out pissed with no food. I know what it's like to be in the middle of a rush at work, but this was ridiculous. What my sister ordered was technically an appetizer and we never even got that. Also, will someone PLEASE tell Kelly that yelling at employees in front of customers is not how you get work done. Very unprofessional. I had a bad experience back in Nov of last year but decided to give it another chance. After tonight, I will NEVER be returning to this location. read more

Not a very clean looking restaurant! I was there in mid-summer and flies all over the place inside. Behind the counter is worse. On the way to the restrooms you have to pass by that area and floor is either old or old and filthy! Looks like storage happens there too. Ladies restroom gets an "F". Unfortunately, I judge most restaurants by the condition of their restrooms. If the manager doesn't see to it that they are clean then what about the hygiene of the employees. I live in Kingsburg but will go to Selma 6 miles away instead. Sorry Kingsburg Dennys but it is what it is. read more

They deserve no stars! We got there and they weren't that busy, ordered our food and waited an hour and people that came in after us got their orders. They seemed more concerned about filling to go orders. We walked out and they never even apologized. Have had a bad experience before and will definitely not be going back after this!!! read more

Will not go back there in the night! Two weeks ago my husband, friend and daughter went there after work about 1240 Am and the employee Humbano was a joke. I work in fast food and even I was dissapointed. I sympathize cause I understand issues but for us to have to seat ourselves and not even get a menu or coffe after 30 minutes was unacceptable. There was two people in there and didn't even acnowledge us. We left to the selma dennys. About one week later the same guy Hubano was there and messed up our whole oreder. I payed for a skilet meal and recieved about a one third of the meal! Also there was a hair in my food and didn't even recieve a sorry. Very disappointing!! I wish Lynette was working in the night because of rather drive to selma when I see Hubano working. Smh read more

Worst service I've had in a while. Now I've worked in a restaurant before especially while closing and have never seen this kind of shit before. We get here and our server who has yet to tell us his name repeatedly asks if we want drinks when we said the first time that we were waiting for people in the bathroom. Then he took our order, everything seemed fine, until we saw him sitting at his POS system for like 15 minutes as if he's never done it before. Our food was sitting in the window getting cold and he was running around the restaurant trying to greet tables that had been here since we have. He forgot to bring milk since there was no creamer for the coffee until we already had our food. He forgot to ring in my order of pancake puppies when he clearly wrote it down in front of me. When I served I didn't write orders down, I remembered them and the fact that he didn't enter something that he wrote down is just unacceptable. He made the whole restaurant wait for him while he tried figuring out how to enter our order. He then didn't realize he forgot my order and when I notified him it was missing he told the cooks to make a side order of pancakes. We had to ask the manager to fix it because he was worthless and doesn't deserve to work there. Now if this review was about the food then it would be 4-5 stars because the cooks did great but since it's about service and the minimum is 1 star I have to give it that. Would do 0 but won't let me. My advice is to drive a little further and maybe eat at a gas station if you're traveling because you'll get better service. read more

I really enjoyed my grilled cheese pesto and side salad. Nothing fancy but made exactly as described. My husband got a loving waffle. Fruit wasn't the sweetest and the waffle did not have the consistency of an actual waffle but it is plant based so didnt expect it to be. It definitely was heavy on the nutella or chocolate spread. All in all, if I wanted something fresh and a bit healthier, I'd consider it again, as there isn't many of these types of options locally.

Then got some carnitas and homemade corn tortillas. We loved everything we got. Next time up in Kingsburg, we'll def be going back.

OMG what can I say? Okay food at cheap prices right, we all know this is not a great restaurant but usually it's fast and hot and no need for it to be anything more. I went into this Denny's thinking it would be the same experience as always not so. I was just off the freeway to gas up after 3 hours on the road. It was around 8:00 am and there were 5 customers in the whole place, 3 old guys at the counter who looked like locals just sucking up some coffee and 2 other single men in booths I was seated and asked if I cared for a beverage to which I answered coffee please. The cook was out of the kitchen talking to one of the single men in a booth, which I thought was odd but small town people might do that. No problem as long as I get some coffee soon. The waitress seemed confused or maybe still asleep cause after a couple of minutes I did not yet have coffee but that's cool I looked over the menu again. She walks up to me a minute later and again asks if I want a beverage seemingly not remembering that not 3 minutes ago I indeed ordered a coffee. Again it's cool I'm not a monster without coffee in the morning like some people are so I watched her not go and get my coffee but start preparing an order for one of the tables. I guess 3 customers were too many for this woman to handle so I just got up and left. It didn't feel like a regular Denny's it was more like a 3 stooges Denny's or I love Lucy Denny's. With a probably regular Denny's at every other off ramp along this highway skip this one in the Twilight Zone. read more

I love this Denny's so much the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is always so hot and fresh and delicious my family and I always enjoy our experience here breakfast lunch and dinner are all amazing the manager she is always on top of it she does all she can to make sure that we are served quickly And always leaves super happy. The restaurant is always super clean so that makes it so wonderful. I definitely suggest checking out the small town diner. Hot, fresh, friendly and welcoming. That's Kingsburg Denny's! Salad was super fresh and crispy just the way I like it. It had cheese in it. Ranch well they always have good ranch dressing. The fries were super fresh as well. Crispy and chewy a the same time. Very tasty. My coffee well they made a fresh pot just for me. So it was good coffee. My daughter enjoyed the nachos. She always do. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She was checking on us for more water or coffee refills. Very great experience. I hope next time I come they do the same. Totally missed the pictures this time. read more

Today is 6/3/22 it is graduations for the end of the school year. It was so busy there was only one waitress her name was rose. She was absolutely amazing. When we got there , there was another waitress that went home crying because it was so hectic in the restaurant. When rose came to our table it was hard for her to hold her self together because of how overwhelming it was being by her self tears came to her eyes and she took a breath and apologized for the wait with a smile on her face even tho she was all alone with only one cook in the back and completely packed restaurant and people cussing her out in the lobby because of the wait. I can't express how amazing she was under all that pressure. I will definitely be back because of her. Thank you for your customer service. #ROSE if I could give her 10 stars I would. read more

Denny's sierra: Me and my family have been to many Denny's in many different cities. Looked very professional like it's always busy. Maybe it was because we went on a Monday. This place was empty during dinner time! 1 chef, 1 waiter, and 1 I don't know. The service was quick because of this phenomenon. I got some nachos , I minute later and *Boom* they are ready. The nachos were delicious but stale. Then we ordered our meals right after. I got the Brisket Melt sandwich (With extra meat because it's the right way to eat it). The sandwich looked so appealing and appetizing I couldn't wait to eat it. After eating about 75% of the sandwich I looked at the meat, there was extra but some of the meat was RED on the inside ! Yes I know brisket is supposed to be pink, The meat horrible red. read more

I am a strong Denny's supporter, but until tonight, I have never experienced poor quality food. I wanted to see for myself what the negative reviews were about and experience for my own opinion. Tonight the manager was overcharging me for the food from the listed prices. It was a bit shady, the grilled chicken was rubbery, and the vegetables, such as the broccoli were served cold. Our guest tonight had empty cups and glasses throughout the evening. For those who are experienced Denny's patrons, they will notice that the portions are smaller than usual. I hope something is done to get this restaurant going on the right direction. read more

So I called Dennys to see if it was true which most likely I know it wasn't but I called they picked up and in mid sentence while I was talking they straight up hung up on me I called again, said that I was just on the phone and you guys hung up on me while still talking then I got to explain myself because I wanna make sure because i was gonna take my man and the twins to denys, So while i got to explain myself this time my question got answered I was still talking and AGAIN hung up on me I tried calling back because I wasn't done talking and now won't pick up the phone!!! Great place to enjoy a nice fresh cup of coffee, with a fluffy stack of pancakes. My husband and I came in for breakfast we were greeted right away. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. Our food came out pretty fast. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Stopped at 11:30 for a quick bite. They were short handed so it took a bit to get our order. The manager, whom I really think is a great manager, was the cook for the day. No one showed up to cook. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries. I must say, without a doubt, it was the best sandwich I have ever eaten!! I would recommend it hands down to anything else on the menu. Thank you, not only to our fantastic waitress, but to the man behind the grill. I need to get the managers name. He's been with them for quite a while! Good job! read more

Me and my family had the best ever customer service from this restaurant last night. The waiter Ronny was so nice and helpfull. We never had to ask for a refill, he made sure our experience was great. We have been going to this restaurant for 14 years and untill lastnight it has been just ok. Came in a busy Sunday as usual. You can clearly see they where short handed, but regardless they did a great job. My service was great, coffee was nice and hot. Pancakes where really fully. There Salted carmel pancakes are amazing. Over all great time with my family. They took care of everyone and work together helping each other out. Manager was cooking, Her food is always amazing. Came in this lovely Sunday morning. We where greeted right away. Drinks where taken as soon as we sat down. Coffee was fresh and hot. My daughter had the strawberry lemonade she loved it. We order appetizers before our meal. Everything came out at a timely manner, and service was great. All the staff working checked in us not just our server. Came for dinner we got seated right away. I ordered a milkshake. The milkshake was really good and thick. My wife ordered coffee you can tell it was freshly brewed and super hot. We ordered an appetizer in our meal. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly and the food came out right after. our server was really attentive to us. overall we had a really nice dinner.
