Went here for a birthday breakfast with my husband & we really enjoyed it! The service is always fast, they are ready to seat you & the foods/drinks always come out quickly, even on a day like today that was rather busy. We did have to go find our server for the check & box at the end, but because it was so busy we understood that they had a lot on their plate. The tables were also clean & the environment was nice despite off busy it felts. The food was delicious! We got our usuals (spicy skillet for me, lumberjack slam for my husband), and they were perfect! Never any complaints when we get them! Glad to have spent my morning here, and we will definitely return :)

It's great to see this Dennys still open after being here for decades and other businesses are shutting down around it. This spot is always busy but the staff are pretty good are keeping customers moving along. The wait time is usually 15 mins or less. The staff was friendly and served us quickly. We also always try to be ready for them! They are kid friendly and have a great kids menu. My food was on the value menu but still plenty to fill me up! I got the value slam and picked biscuits and gravy, then was able to split my meats and get one bacon and sausage. Everything was cooked great. My family enjoyed their food too. read more

We always enjoy our visits to Denny's aside from the food is always great plus the ambiance, and a big part of that is because of Sandra. She's absolutely wonderful! She takes our order with so much care she even memorizes it, which is so cool and impressive. She's always friendly, attentive, and quick to check on us to make sure we have everything we need. I got a bowl of soup to go about 30 minutes ago. It was a large one given to me on a 24 ounce beverage cup with the wrong lid, it spilled all over my car. I was a regular customer of this Dennys for about five years. In this time period, I got to know all the servers, all the managers and even the regional manager. I was a steady customer, enjoying all the breakfast,lunch, and dinner menus. Everything was great, I even helped them with rolling the utensils in napkins in the later night when I was there at times. I gave some of them legal, financial and other information free on the house ( I have a Ph.D. and a J.D. in Law) plus explanations on how to trade stocks; until a new manager was hired, a guy named Antonio.. he was and is a total Pr**k. He apparently needed to wear his new manager role. At any rate,on a morning not but about two weeks back, a customer and a woman with him were having breakfast at a table by the window. I was at the counter, facing the kitchen. There was only me, one server, the couple by the window, a cook and the new manager. I checked my facebook page on my cell phone. There was no policy against use of cell phones, and half the servers had signed up as friends on my facebook page. I clicked on one posting to see what it was, and opened it, ..it was a political posting that made a little noise but not too much.The guy behind me at the window table shouted at me, "hey, turn that down..I don't want to hear that noise." I turned it off at once, it had only been on for less than 10 seconds.Then he came over to the counter to me, continuing the harangue. I said, look I turned it off so what is the problem.? " He made a complaint to the new manager, Antonio, but I did not see him do that. Then Antonio told me that if "if this happens again, you cannot come here anymore" I said "do what? I turned it off, and all your servers and myself have been using cell phones in here the entire time I have been a customer here." I then left and went to my car, where I sat and thought about the incident for awhile.Antonio had said to me that I had caused him to lose a customer. I do not recall this man ever being there before.. and I am there at different times of the day and evening for years. This new manager told me that he had "comped him" , i.e., covered his bill because he was mad at me over the 10 second phone issue. I later learned that in fact the man and woman left the restaurant without paying their bill and Antonio comped them AFTER they left without paying. Later when I asked about this decision of his to not charge them, and I even offered a hundred dollar bill to cover whatever the loss was, Antonio pushed the money back to me, not taking it. Then I said "that guy was not a customer, as you claim.. he was a thief. Usually when someone skips out without paying, they call the police and go outside to write down their car license plate number. In the past, one of the managers there, actually asked me to go get the number for them and I did. As I said, all the employees there were friends of mine, and several of my former high school students work there also. Bottom line, this alleged customer was just a thief who left without paying and the fault was placed on me. I have been banned from that Dennys for no reason other than the new manager's incompetence and abusive male behavior. I called the police to report the abuse and the police officers who responded agreed with me that the manager's conduct made no sense and was against the wrong person. I then called the corporate office of Dennys and have informed them I intend to file a small claims action for the humiliation and distress I was needlessly put through. This manager, Antonio, is an idiot and ought to be fired. I will never to to any Dennys ever again. The corporate office people told me they would 'get back to me'..well it has been over a week and there has been no communication from them. Guess I will have to go ahead and sue. read more

The restaurant was clean and inviting. Misting was our server. She was friendly and very attentive. Our appetizer came out promptly and was really good. We had the mozzarella sticks. They were perfectly crunchy and gooey with cheese! Our food came out at the perfect time. Everything looked wonderful!! My steak was cooked to perfection, exactly how I ordered it! Misti brought us drink refills without asking which was great! My Son had thw birthday cake pancakes which he devoured! And he had fries with it. He ate it ALL so I know he it was delicious because he is a very picky kid! My Daughter had the crepes which are her favorite and she said they were REALLY good! My husband had the grand slam and everything was cooked perfectly! If you're looking for great service with a smile and food cooked perfectly with reasonable prices then visit Dennys in Lake Elsinore!!! It is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or Dinner!!!! Last week I had the pleasure of being sat down with my family to eat in Julia's section. We had been out on a long drive and were looking to be seated and fed quickly. Julia however was just the person we needed for the job. She was absolutely fantastic. My son who is only 15 months was treated as her own. Julia got him his own chair so that he could stretch his legs from out of his car seat. The moment we sat we were all given water before our drink orders were taken. My son ate some scrabbled eggs with a side of fruit which he truly enjoyed. My husband had the bacon avocado cheeseburger with french fries and asked for plenty of ranch with his meal which Julia remembered as most do not. I myself had a moons over my hammy with tomatoes added on and a side of extra crispy hash browns. Our food came out fast and Julia was very attentive to all of our needs. the entrance was slightly busy but then again we came at primetime breakfast hours and honestly we only waited maybe 5 mins for a table of 6. not bad at all for a Sunday Morning. Andrea our server was super amazing. she definitely made our breakfast experience that much better. her attitude was refreshing. I came to have breakfast with my wife and 4 little ones. everything was brought in a timely order. she assisted with our kids meals with ease super helpful. super nice and friendly. she brought us refills and accommodated any request. I would definitely return back to dennys just because of Andrea's positive outlook and awesome vibe and energy. we need more people like Andrea to serve us and be courteous to customers. thank you Andrea for such great service. It's been a while since I've been to this Dennys, last time I went I had a bad experience with the service, the server sat us down and forgot we were there she never took our order for our drinks to begin with, didn't give us silverware when she finally did bring our drinks we asked for creamer for our coffee and she didn't bring it we had to get up and ask her again. Later we literally had to go look for her to order our food since she just left us waiting. I would understand if it was busy but it was 2am and the restaurant was pretty empty. I went back hoping for a better experience and I am glad I did our server Teresa was amazing and this time it was busier and she was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of, and the food was very good too will probably go back. read more

This is SONY, like the TV‍. The beautiful waitress there by her name tag of "BELLA" has excellent customer service and I am recognizing her excellent work ethics so it may be known here in our beautiful City of Lake Elsinore . Her memory is still very sharp and when she arrived at out table with our food, she remembered exactly who ordered... what, and set the food right in front of the individual . She always has a beautiful "Smile" on her face at all times . Oh, and her shift is the graveyard. So, if you guys are feeling hungry and needed something to eat "late", I highly recommend you to stop by this Denny's and grab something, and even say "hi" to her (Bella), if she's on that night. Horrible. Service was ok until the food came. Had to ask for utensils, my son ordered a chocolate milk, it came half full. Food was very salty and no one came to check on us. We had to ask the bus lady for more water and a to go box because there was no sign of any servers. If we did see any, they didn't see us. Best believe when it came time to pay, they were on it. Horrible. Been out here for over 30 years. Stopped coming for over 10 years. Thought I'd give them another shot, it was a fail. Seems like a requirement to work there is the ability to ignore customers. All bad. Oh! And if you're desperate enough to go, do NOT get seated by the restrooms. I have come to this dennys for many years and have always had excellent service! They recently remodeled so the place looks great! Seems like they are understaffed at times, but nothing anyone who works in customer service wouldn't understand. The management here is great, the new manager Luis comes and checks on us often. He definitely makes us feel like we are at home. My server Jessica is always quite pleasant, she smiles often and always makes sure I have what I need. She frequently tells us about all the new things they are working on to help the restaurant. She has me excited about some of the new things that are to come. Love this team and will continue to come back because of them!! read more

Thank you dennys staff for the great service! Our family came in Tuesday night around 9. My nephew came out to visit from Orange County and we figured why not get some late night food. There was only one server and people were coming in at once. Julia was our server and she had let us know would be with us in a minute. She grabbed our drinks and our appetizers came out right after. I had such a great experience at the Lake Elsinore Denny's! My server, Brittany, was absolutely wonderful--friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. She really went above and beyond to make the visit enjoyable. I also had the pleasure of meeting Beth, the General Manager, and it's clear she runs a great team. She was warm, welcoming, and you can tell she truly cares about the restaurant and the guests. Went to breakfast today with the family, and had a great experience. It was a busy morning but we were seated once our name was called. Our server had greeted us with a smile and great attitude and let us know there was a wait for food. But she kept checking in on us and as soon as we knew it she was bringing our food out. It was graduation day, and the manager, Beth, said it would be a 20 minute wait, we got seated in 10. She was scrambling - seating people, cashing others out, helping waiting staff, answering questions - definitely getting things done. Our server, Sue, was also on point. We were in and out about an hour. Never seen this place as busy as that. This Dennys is located nearby, very convenient, service is very good and food served quick and hot. A lot of variety too. Loved our experience here last week! Was kind of skeptical because the reviews, but when we drive by and seen how packed it was. We decided to stop in. We were greeted and welcomed to take a seat sighing 10 minutes which was perfect! Service was excellent, our server offered these hush puppies and they were so fresh! We have a lot of birthdays in the month of august in my family and we like to go to dennys to get free breakfast. But this franchisee does not honor the free grand slam that you used to be able to get on your birthday. They make things difficult so that you give up and have to end up paying. Well I'm not paying for it on my breakfast when it was Always free in the past at other locations where the franchisee is not a cheap skate. You have lost my business permanently. read more

Breakfast ths morning was good enough. I had egg whites and a slam. My wife's french toast looked yummy and my pancakes were tasty. People gotta remember this is not snooty OC. Come in.....announce yourself and take a seat. The girls have sections so they will tell you a preferred spot. The windows can get a little hot. Been there twice. Once it was raining and they had a leak and today they had a tile guy fixing tile at front entry. Overall, good 'nuff. read more
