I was driving from San Francisco to Las Vegas and stopped at Dennys because I had a free Valuec slam for my birthday. After navigating the Dennys app to the reward QR code. The server was very pleasant and helpful in helping me order the slam which was eggs, pancakes, and sausage. My daughter ordered the appetizer samples which included mozzarella sticks, sliders, and chicken wings. My eggs and sausage arrived after an unusually long time, with the pancakes (which came later). My family and I made a stop here on our road trip back home. Mayra was our server and she was amazing! We were traveling with children and she made sure their food came out first and we never had an empty cup of coffee. This Denny's is located just off I-5 at the CA-46, Lost Hills exit. The interior is bright, clean and inviting. It appears to be recently remodeled. There are 20 Tesla EV chargers available directly in front of, and on the side of the restaurant. Our Super Bird sandwich was well constructed and grilled to perfection. We chose the onion rings upgrade for a nominal charge, and they were excellent as well; there was no greasiness, yet the onion rings were crispy. Opting for a breakfast at lunchtime, we also chose their $6 Everyday Value Slam (choice of two buttermilk pancakes, two slices of Brioche French Toast or a biscuit & gravy -- served with 2 eggs, plus bacon strips or sausage links) off their $2-4-6-8 Value Menu. I mean it's Denny's, classic breakfast place to go to. The service was good. Typical Denny's setting. The restaurant was clean, except for the restroom - It could use some extra love there. The gravy from the biscuit didn't agree with my stomach and probably wouldn't get it again. The parking lot is shared with Tesla chargers. So while people are charging their cars, they're probably blowing up the restroom. Which is why their restroom is nasty. read more

Im really loving their value slams! I get toast, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns for 5 bucks! Usually when I have to work in LH, I don't have time to make myself anything tha morning, so I'm grateful for this deal! I order it ahead of time so it's ready by the time I'm driving In to town. The restaurant has a nice honey feel to it, it kept some of its charm as opposed to most Denny's that have received makeovers. I really like that. We stopped here twice now as it has a Tesla charger right outside. It's convenient to dine in while the car is getting charged. A strong wave of stale musty odor hits you as soon as you walk in through the doors, you will eventually get used to it but it's uncomfortable. They need to air out the space a bit more. Food can get very heavy due to excess usage of butter and cheese. They can try to lighten it up a bit more. My veggie omlette came with a piece of bacon this time. The restaurant was clean and everyone was attentive and professional. I read the one star comments while I was waiting for my meal. I'm not gonna lie, I got scared. I felt like lunch this time and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the double cheese burger and it was amazing! Service was prompt, burger was hot, cheese melting, fries were still practically sizzling they were so hot. I don't usually expect too much from these diners. It was around 9pm that my bf & I stopped by during our charging break and ordered a milkshake. As we were walking out, there were mice everywhere. I understand the area has possibilities of field mice outside here and there but it was infested.... We ended up throwing out the milkshake as we weren't sure if the critters were roaming all over the restaurant. As we drove off, literally left and right they were running and jumping on the entrance door and as we were exiting off the freeway. It just freaked me out and I feel bad for the restaurant. We just ate at Dennys lost hills abd had they best service. Our server was outstanding unfortunately I forgot her name after experiencing the worst bathroom ever. Totally filthy. Would not return because of the bathrooms. What was funny my husband also used the men's restroom came out saying how dirty and complained nothing to wipe hands on and the employee just shrugged his shoulders. We used to come here everytime we travel for years but the new hispanic management was very discriminatory and rude they didn't even wanted to speak with us to clarify our concern. I will suggest trying other a different place and not endorse this specific stablishment. read more
