The other day I seen the managers just wiping the tables but keep in mind there's no plates or cups or anything they just wiping down the tables and they're seeing there's literally about 20 people upfront & about 4 people picking up orders. Awhile the 1 person upfront working the best he can helping everyone. That's missed up, Smh the managers should've at least helped couple people upfront or at least say (Is anyone here to pick up an order?) the entrance was literally packed. Well it was my Bday and Jack and I went here on a Sunday my 2/19/23 Birthday to get my Free Grand Slam. And well I received my email but they said it's not good enough. So this time I had to go on the website enroll and get the code. So they can scan the Q Code. But I walked in told her my name went to bathroom , then went to car was in there about 10mins and I just happened to look at my phone and it said "No Show". I went back in there told them I'm here. They sat us by the by the restroom back door. I felt like RoSA PaRKs because I was in the back , by the back door. And it's #BlackHistoryMonth. Well they told me the door won't be opening. That was a Lie, then Salvador's was my Waiter he was cool. I ordered I got my coffee. 10mins later ordered my food. My food came about 30 mins later and as soon as another waiter walked past she told me #HappyBirthday ,..I got my to go box and Then Salvador & the Lady came back and sang HappyBirthday to me it was nice a surprising they came with a ice cream sundae. Since 1999 this place has been a place to take your family. Today I had to call and asked to speak to Patty the manager, for something I witnessed earlier. They discriminated. With everything going on in the work how can a business reopen in this manner. I believe that protester should be at this place. I placed an online order for curbside pick up. I normally don't have any complaints about this location because I order frequently for my family but this time I picked up my order and got home only to see that the order I placed was completely different from the order I picked up. I called to ask for a refund and the hostess said the order was mixed up and they would refund my order. I then receive an email from Denny's saying I would receive a partial refund because I didn't like the way the cook cooked the order. My issue was not HOW the cook cooks, but how my order was wrong and I paid for a specific order of food. read more

I have lots of wonderful memories at Denny's as a teenager. Denny's was there when my friends and I needed to have "dinner" at 2am, after being out all night. Denny's was there for me when I woke up in the afternoon, and I still wanted "breakfast." My friends and I had some awesome times at Denny's, and I still enjoy occasionally eating there. Nowadays, I find myself being much more level-headed, and the value of a restaurant goes far beyond their hours of operation. Don't get me wrong, Denny's is still a great restaurant; however, my requirements for quality have evolved over time. And, when considering the overall rating of this restaurant, one must compare it with other restaurants for an evaluation. In my opinion, Denny's is far better than a typical lower-cost fast-food chain, like McDonalds or Burger King. On the other hand, Denny's is not nearly as good of a restaurant as Red Robin or Chili's. One cannot compare apples to oranges, so this makes evaluating Denny's a little tricky. However, I believe the great equalizer is money, and restaurants of similar price can be compared. Denny's is clearly more expensive than your typical fast food chain, so this then forces you to compare Denny's with the better restaurants. All of this so far suggests that, as a chain, Denny's should either reduce their prices or increase their quality. Now onward to this particular Denny's restaurant. I've been to this particular Denny's about a dozen times, and my rating has always been between a 2-star rating and a 4-star rating. Most often, like during our most recent visit, their service has been a solid 3-star rating. Here's a breakdown of the rating for our most recent visit: - My meal: 4 stars - My kids's meals: 2 stars - Waiter service: 3 stars - Dining area cleanliness: 3 stars - Restroom cleanliness: 2 stars First, let me start with the best part of this visit, my meal. I ordered the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger, and it was awesome! Its appearance on my plate was magnificent, even better than pictured in the Denny's menu, and it was delicious. I received this great burger with a side of seasoned French fries, which were also delicious, crispy, and fresh. Kudos to the cook on this one! The only drawback of my entire meal was getting a Coca-Cola in a plastic cup; I hate plastic cups...yuk! My kids's meals were unfortunately quite the opposite. One of these meals was the pizza and French fries, which was apparently good, but it sure looked miserable. The pizza looked like it had low-quality cheese on top of a cardboard-thin flavorless crust, like something that Denny's purchased from a low budget pizza vendor and just microwaved it to serve. Boring. Another dinner was the spaghetti with a side of apples, which was even more disappointing. The apples appeared fresh and were delicious, but the spaghetti was, again, a low-cost substitute for what should have been the main course of my child's meal. It was simply spaghetti noodles with a little sauce on the top, and it was barely enough to cover the bottom of a small bowl. This again was a great disappointment, and obviously left my child hungry after finishing it, so I ended up surrendering the majority of my French fries that I had wanted to eat. Our waiter was OK. My preference though, would be to have a waiter or waitress that checks on our table more frequently and is more social. I believe that a big part of going to a "sit down" restaurant is actually the interaction you have with your servers, or else you might as well go to a fast food restaurant drive thru that is less expensive. In summary, we will probably be back to this Denny's, but it may be a few months before this occurs. Frankly, there are numerous other options out there that deliver a better quality of service for a similar price. Although this particular Denny's could certainly make some improvements, the majority of the improvements required are that of the Denny's chain, which will obviously take much more time to correct. read more

Everything was typical Denny's except the grits. They messed up the grits! How do you mess up grits?! For one, you don't use a wire wisk. Two, you don't put salt in the water. Three, you just let anyone in the kitchen make them. I don't remember what I ordered, all I remember is the messed up grits and the fact that the poor guy ringing us up actually liked them that way. He talked about eating them with a fork and loving all the lumps and that's the way his mama made them and I was done! LOL, when a diner messes up the grits, I think it's a sign of the world coming to an end. It's Denny's. We came here, and it was cold. They said the heater was going to be fixed tomorrow. We went back a week later. The heater had not been fixed yet. We were told the same area where we sat the week before would be warmer, but we were cold there the previous week, as well. So, we left. They have good food. We'll go back another time and check. I went with a group of 8 friends recently, I expected a decent service for a diner like this. Not so much. The wait to get seated was incredibly long, like at least 40ish minutes... and it wasn't even full or many seats taken. (Even with COVID guidelines.) The attitude to be informed also was pretty poor for what I expect. Eventually once we were seated it took another 15 minutes just to have our drink orders taken. Finally once we ordered food and waited for it to arrive, it was basically still frozen. I of course asked for the manager, her name being Jessica, we over heard the manager complaining and call us something obscene. Essentially calling our little group (putting it mildly here) 'freaking jerks' but obviously a whole lot ruder. So yeah, this place is poorly managed beyond belief, don't go here. Corporate should do something about it, I doubt it though from a company like Denny's. No wonder they're so unpopular. read more

5 STARS BECAUSE OF SALVADOR and VALERIE! Valerie greet us almost immediately after sitting down and asked to grab drinks for us, she was fast! She came back with extra creamer like we asked for our coffee and continued to check on our drinks during our meal. Salvador was our waiter this morning, we are from out of town and honestly Denny's is not known for its great service BUT Salvador was nothing but exceptional! This is the most anyone has ever checked on us and our meal while at a Denny's! Salvador came by with a positive and welcoming attitude that you just knew he'd be an attentive waiter. He proceeded to take our order, then continuously came by to check on our coffee refill and made sure our meal was tasting great. While he ran around and took other parties orders he also made sure to go back to his tables and buss them. When we were closer to the end of our meal and our plates were clearing up he came by and pre bussed our table! Honestly this by far has been the best visit to a Denny's, ever! I order a French Toast slugger i and piece of bread with a glob of cream cheese on it. How hard is it to get French toast right?!!!!! I came here for a quick bite post NYE celebrations with two of my friends. We were seated very quickly, since it wasn't crowded at all. I decided to order a cup of coffee alongside the Zesty Nachos. I am a vegetarian, so I decided to get them without the beef. My friends decided to split a double cheeseburger. The coffee was very tasty; strong but not bitter, and I appreciated the refills. My friends loved their burger and said it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I was a little disappointed with my nachos - the only toppings they came with were melted pepper-jack cheese, sour cream, and a little pico de gallo salsa. They were still good, however a little underwhelming. Moreover, we had to wait about 25 minutes for our food to come out, which was a little strange considering the restaurant was not packed at all.
