I have been coming to this Denny's for breakfast darn near every weekday morning (around 330am) since September 2019 and I must say I am nothing but impressed. I am always greeted with a smile and sat down quickly. The place is sparkling clean. The waitresses are polite and good at their job. The cook is good too, my food is prepped and cooked perfectly and is delicious. I would recommend this Denny's to anyone. read more

I never do big time places ever until I saw one server who took care of everybody with the name of Krisstina M. She moved everywhere and was assigned to everyone. A mistake happen on my order and the wrong meal came out. So I nicely tried to tell the waitress this was not what I wanted and she spoke over me to persistently to tell me I was wrong and that this meal is what I ordered also disappeared for long periods of time. Just when you'd think there isn't any quality food, service or ambiance in Palmdale, this Denny's location comes through with the KO win! The building is HUGE, you can't miss it in the spacious Antelope Valley Mall. The inside has freshly been remodeled and the set up of the tables and booths has been engineered perfectly. Another huge plus about this location is the cleanliness of the dining area, bathrooms and kitchen. The waitress that helped us was very attentive and sweet. The food was freshly made and served gloriously! They even have big decals of the Palmdale Lake and the windmill, a big plus to show the tradition of this town. The highlight of my visit was personally meeting the general manager on duty, Sam! He kindly approached my group and introduced himself, checked on our experience and made sure that we were well taken care of. The fact that a GM, someone of the highest status in a work environment checks on his customers created a very comfortable and intriguing experience for my friends and I. We found our Denny's. Here ikon Rancho Vista Blvd. Felisa was our waiter and sweet, attending, caring and just on point. Our kids loved it, the service was prompt and yummy, I was asked if my steak is too well done which was a first as well. Clean bathrooms, clean tables, I enjoyed my stay and like I said before Felisa is just so wonderful that I have her a hug when we left. She deserves a RAISE!!! Just visited Denny's and it was a real unpleasant experience. They brought me the bill minutes after they brought our food. I felt as if they were kicking us out. Normally I ask for the bill. Also our server Alma did not come around asking us if we wanted more coffee. I had to ask for coffee because our mugs were empty. My wife and I left IHOP because of the lack of service but today I felt as if we were visiting IHOP. Very disappointed and normally I do not complaint about little things as I know no one is perfect but bringing the bill with the food it's a big issue for me. Even with a bar set low, this Denny's disappoints. Something that always brings a late evening to a fun end is the visit to an all night diner. I always enjoy the jokes and stories exchanged in the atmosphere, however a bad experience makes for a poor night. When we first arrived we stood at the front desk and watched as three waitresses talked and occasional took glances at us for almost a minute until finally we stepped up and asked for a seat. We were seated and then our drink orders were taken however they only brought two drinks for three of us and we asked for another and waited another 2 minutes. Finally we were asked our orders, mind you that at 11pm your not hungry enough to "eat a horse" so we ordered appetizers. the waitresses attitude instantly changed as though she smelled something offensive and we were the offenders. She walked away and we didn't see her again for some time. After quite a bit of time another individual brought us our food. First off they forgot to bring us sour cream for the nachos and salsa for the quesadilla. The new waitress brought us the sour cream but not the salsa and before we could ask she whisked off to help the table next to us that was seating 8. The chicken was cooked but cold so they didn't time the order in the kitchen they just put it all under the lamps once they had finished that item. We finally asked the waitress for the salsa which was surprisingly brought to us by our first waitress who placed a half filled bowl of some overly smoky, under salted tomato puree that more closely resembled a bad marinara sauce, it was inedible to say the least. We were so disappointed that we couldn't finish our food and told the second waitress to bring us the check which was the fastest item to reach our table all night. I know that the treatment of our table was because of the waitress thought she would get little to no tip however I am a very generous tipper, I work in the industry and know what its like to be stiffed on a bill. however I wasn't the one who paid this evening and I didn't care what my friend left for the waitress. So the table next to us, this little girl dropped her drink all over herself and her table. Not a single worker came to help. Didn't even offer extra napkins. The party had to go up to the kitchen (right next to them) and ask the lady who WATCHED it happen for napkins. Myself and the table next to me offered all of our napkins and more assistance. Wow horrible service waited almost 50 min for our food as a waitress myself I understand maybe the back house is busy but the food we got served was so small and I go to different Denny's and have never got such a small amount and I had to get up to pay our waitress was taking forever to come for the bill. Everything was typical Denny's except the grits. They messed up the grits! How do you mess up grits?! For one, you don't use a wire wisk. Two, you don't put salt in the water. Three, you just let anyone in the kitchen make them. I don't remember what I ordered, all I remember is the messed up grits and the fact that the poor guy ringing us up actually liked them that way. He talked about eating them with a fork and loving all the lumps and that's the way his mama made them and I was done! LOL, when a diner messes up the grits, I think it's a sign of the world coming to an end. It's Denny's. Came in for lunch with my son. They were busy so we had to wait a while to be seated. Once seated, we were immediately greated by our waitress. We ordered water and I ordered coffee. The coffee and water came out in no time. The coffee was hot, which is a good thing. The food took a little while to arrive. It's understandable considering how busy they were. My son really liked his food. My food was ok. I asked for my bacon to be crispy but it wasn't. Not a big deal though. The service was good. The manager went to every table asking if everything was good. I asked him for more napkins and he brought it to us. Overall, great experience. My family and I don't frequent Dennys very often, but we had an Awesome experience while visiting store #7180 in Palmdale, Ca. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and tone were superb!
