This is the best Denny's I've ever been to. The food is AMAZING and Brad the waiter is so cool. He makes jokes the whole time and has a really funny sense of humor. My favorite one was him replying to a lady behind me who ordered coffee and he said, "you like your coffee like Stephen King movies, dark....until you get the jitters." Great guy! read more

We came in super late after a long hike. They were a bit understaffed, but we were seated. Brad was our server and really worked to make our experience good! Honestly, I've never gotten faster service from a Dennys and I was really impressed. Brad was honestly the highlight, made us as a group feel at home and was very personable! We've been to this location a couple times now and it seems to be a bit hit and miss depending on who's in the kitchen and/or who's in service. While standards across tis type of restaurants supposedly are the same, it's also true they do vary. For example I like my eggs sunny side up without any raw white - who really does? - and this time the yolk was perfect BUT the white was raw and looked like snot. A tiny bit of raw I can sweep aside, as long as the rest of the white is cooked and a bit crispy at the edge, but most of it raw is not what I'm used to looking the other way about. So it was refired and good but I did enjoy my breakfast less, and being Denny's nothing was offered as a gesture of goodwill. Oh well. The restaurant is pleasantly themed with Route 66 and similar replica type signs and as it opened recently, I think a year ago (with post-Covid brain fog and the heat it could be earlier this year) it is still all shiny new and pretty. For now, because of the raw egg white, I'm leaving 3 stars: I hope future visits will up the count! I will also add pictures of beautiful perfectly cooked eggs :) There's plenty of parking there and a bonus :it's open 24 hours in the same plaza where there's Fat Cat Bowling and a movie theater! read more

Arrived here on our way home. Could tell it was a little busy based on the number of cars in the parking lot. Walked in and there was two groups waiting to pay and now us waiting. We stood there for at least 10 minutes with the other two groups before the hostess even bothered to come up front. When we finally got seated and ordered our coffees we started looking around and could not see an employee that looked like they were happy to be there. Coffee arrived at the table and I could see a puddle under my cup. Thinking maybe it spilled a little on delivery I wiped it up and drank some of the Luke warm brew. Then I noticed another pool under my cup. Come to find out the handle is cracked at the bottom and the mug is leaking. Would ask for a new mug but the waitress hasn't been back since we seated and got this less than stellar coffee. Now I don't use creamer but looking at the creamer dish that was delivered I have to ask when the last time it was washed was! Pics of the coffee mug and creamer dish included. Now I also decided to use the restroom while I waited for our waitress to remember we existed. I felt like I was in a bar bathroom. The bathroom and urinals were filthy and the floor felt like someone spilled a soda on it two or three days ago as my feet stuck to the floor. If you happen to be in the area, I suggest you try one of the other establishments that you might get some better service with, I know next time I'm in the area I won't bother coming here Received the food we ordered. Should have just left after the coffee. I mean you order a cheese omelet and it comes out with a few slices of American cheese sticking out the side and not even melted. How is this real? Then you order sourdough bread and get barely toasted white bread. The ketchup bottle is empty and there is only two packets of jelly on the table. Don't get me wrong. I've worked in the restaurant business. I know it gets busy and I know being short staffed sucks but bad service and bad all around experience isn't how you win over customers and drive recruitment. Greasy nasty finger printed front door.Stopped at the door and observed the nastiness did an about face and went to breakfast elsewhere.

Food was cold had to wait 50 minutes for our meals and one of the drinks my granddaughter waited 30 minutes for.

On Sunday 12/29/24 at 1:30 PM there was no wait to be seated and the server was pleasant and efficient. Both meals were so poorly prepared that the appearance alone was insulting. Too be fair it is not the cooks or servers fault for such a bad rating but the owner/managers to blame. We were here a few months ago with my mom-in-law, one server, one cook and food was eh which took forever to get. Fast forward to today, came up to visit mom-in-law again and for early Mother's Day breakfast and she wanted to go to Denny's, only two small groups ahead of us waiting to be seated and once again only one cook. I checked my phone after a bit and saw we had been waiting an hour, an hour just to be seated and still not seated! At this time we left and went to Cedar Ridge, immediately was seated and had our food less than 15 minutes of ordering, shout out too them on that! Management/owners someone should be helping the cook on the weekend, ESPECIALLY a holiday weekend preparing food! Hire from a temporary agency if you have too! Lots of potential customers came in and left because the wait was ridiculous, loss of revenue is not good for your business. read more

Worst Dennys ever. I had just finished a 10 mile hike and was starving.. I sat at the bar and ALL of the employees just ignored me. They were gossiping about other employees and wouldn't even bother to say hello. I waited for 10 minutes then just left. Also the bathroom was a wreck and there were drugs in the sink. I won't be back to this Denny's. They let my food get cold. They weren't even busy. They weren't very nice, we had my grandma with us and she's not picky. She just wanted hot coffee and toast. It's frustrating that you can't just expect good service and warm food no matter what Denny's you go to, I'll still eat at Denny's, just not this one. read more

It's been a long time since we've experienced such a height of customer service - Denny's is very fortunate to have Brad G working there! It was very busy but he kept everyone feeling that they were his only customers, and doing his utmost to meet all requests (offering substitute desserts for the apple crisp that wasn't available, quickly having a fresh pot of decaf brewed for me, etc.) My husband had a beyond burger with all the fixings and was very satisfied - and I had breakfast for dinner, which was comfort food for me after a long and HOT day in Phoenix. The stop was a bright spot in the day (after Williams Sonoma, a high-end store, gave me a really hard time for wanting to exchange a gift for the same item in a different color, because I didn't have a receipt!) We drove up from the valley today and decided to stop in for lunch. Our server Brad was such a hard worker! He was very friendly and so much fun! He made excellent recommendations which we went with and absolutely loved! He was very attentive and our drinks were always topped off. He constantly checked in on us and promptly got us whatever we needed. We never felt the strain of how busy the restaurant was. We recommend asking for this server if you ever stop by. I went to Dennys around Noon last week and was greeted by the manager Brian. This wonderful man was all by himself. He sat myself and another lady and got our drinks out right away. More customers were coming in and with a smile he got to them quickly and sat them and just asked for us to bear with him as he was alone. Everyone was being nice and patient. This young man's attitude never wavered and he kept smiling and being so nice and professional to everyone. This manager deserves a bonus for going above and beyond. He was awesome! The service was slow, which would have been ok - being short staffed and it's a holiday- but the service was horrible. Waited over 25 minutes just to put our nane on the waiting list and then waited 10 more minutes. The waitress was slow but also didn't know who ordered what when she brought out the food or what meal it was. All out food came out at different times. read more

My husband took the family out for breakfast early no wait .. well to what should have been informed to us as we sat down was they were pretty much out of all ingredients.. we wanted orange juice for the kids she said they were out so we ordered apple juice ok .. next we ordered coffee she brought the coffee to our table we asked for creamer she told my husband they're out ..ok so she takes our orders for food turned our chicken tenders were also out crapes they were out .. my husband order wheat toast she brought white bread .. we ended up paying $50 not a very great experience not sure if I'll ever go again. read more
